LUMBER & FASTENING :

2x 2” x 8” x 16' (sides)

1x 2” x 6” x 14' or 16' (end pieces & struts)

1x 2” x 4” x 10' (winch pole and diag. support)

36x 3’’ wood screws (more or less)

32x 2-1/2’’ x 3/8’’ bolts, nuts & lock washers for steel parts

4x 2-1/2’’ x 1/2’’ bolts, nuts & lock washers for the keel roller

2x 4-1/2’’ x 3/8’’ lag screws or bolts, nuts & lock washers for the winch

TOOLS :

Miter saw or saw & protractor

Measuring tape

Star screwdriver

Drill with 7/16’’ & 9/16” drill bits

3/8”, 1/2” and 3/4” wrench

1) Cut lumber to sizes according to plan or to your preferred lenghts .

2) Pre-assemble with a couple screws making sure you’re not putting the screws where you will drill the holes for steel hardware.

3) Mark holes with a pen by positioning brackets and marking inside the holes.

4) Drill holes and bolt on hardware.

5) Install wheels, keel roller, winch post, winch and bumper.
