To start the engines, turn the battery selector to "2" - Start Batteries. Put the gearshift in neutral, throttle just above idle, and ensure the STOP SOL switch is ON. Turn the STBD POWER switch ON, press the STBD STARTING button. Repeat for the port engine. Ensure oil pressure is normal, and check for water coming out of both engine exhausts.

The maximum cruising speed is about 1800 RPM. At 1400 RPM you will cruise at about 7 knots and use a little over 2 gallons per hour. Speed will vary depending upon the weight, currents and weather conditions.

The holding tank can be emptied at a pump-out station or by dumping overboard. For pump-out, remove the holding tank deck fitting, insert the pump-out nozzle, turn on the pump and open the valve. For dumping overboard, turn the Y-valve so it is pointing towards the “Waste Overboard” discharge line, open the thru-hull valve marked “Waste Overboard,” and turn ON the MACERATOR PUMP on the DC power panel.

Turn on the GAS STOVE circuit breaker on the DC power panel. Open the propane tank valve slowly, turn on the LP GAS solenoid switch, and turn on the gas at the stove. Press the BURNER IGNITE button to light the burner. To light the oven, turn the knob to the “Light” position, press the red OVEN SAFETY knob, and hold a lighter or match to the pilot inside the oven.

Push the Inverter button on the Magnum Energy panel. The INV light should illuminate indicating it is functioning and there is power to outlets. The inverter will not provide power to the water heater or battery charger.

To lower the anchor, turn the windlass power switch on, tap gently on the down foot control, and guide the anchor over the anchor roller. Let out sufficient anchor rode before setting the anchor. To raise the anchor, start the engines, turn on the windlass switch, and press the UP control to take up slack. Guide the anchor onto the roller as it rises.
