Celerity Technologies to Showcase New Products at
Infocomm 2013
Irvine, CA – May 28, 2013 – Celerity Technologies - inventor of the first fiber optic
HDMI cable to support audio return channel, will demonstrate its long distance fiber
optic HDMI cable solutions and will be introducing new product concepts at the
upcoming Infocomm 2013, booth 3791 in Orlando, FL June 12 – 14th, 2013.
Products to be demonstrated include the existing Detachable
Connector Fiber Optic HDMI plenum cables in lengths
ranging from 40’ – 1000’ that are HDMI High Speed certified
with full support for 1080p, 3D, 4K and 36-bit Deep Color.
HDMI data support for HDCP, EDID and CEC functionality
round out the product specifications.
New products to be shown include a wall plate connection
system supporting HDMI, IR, RS232 and network
connections over fiber optics allowing integrators to support
the required controls for high definition systems integration.
“Celerity is very excited to be exhibiting at Infocomm 2013.
Since our introduction at CEDIA Expo 2012, Celerity continues to prove the viability of
fiber for high definition connections in the systems integration market. We look forward
to talking to commercial integrators and showing them how our long distance fiber optic
HDMI solutions can help make their HDMI installations more dependable”, says Buzz
Delano, of Celerity Technologies. “Our products are a perfect fit for commercial
integrators. Our long distance fiber optic HDMI cables are plenum rated and provide a
high quality solution for digital signage, security, commercial audio/video and house of
worship installations.”
Fiber optics have emerged as a high bandwidth and reliable solution for sending
uncompressed HDMI signals over long distance while fully supporting HDMI
specifications for video, audio and data. Celerity’s product offers several advantages
over other fiber optic and copper cable long distance HDMI products with a fast and
reliable two-step fiber connection process that is a benefit to system integrators.
An additional benefit is the size of the connector at each end of the fiber optic cable,
measuring only .27” x .36” x 1” (7mm x 9mm x 25mm) so that pulling the fiber optic prewire cable is easy yet requires no time-consuming fiber terminations. A detachable
HDMI connector is then affixed to the fiber optic cable plug for a simple two-step
process that saves time and ensures reliability.
In addition to the Celerity Technologies booth, attendees will see Celerity fiber optic
products at COVID booth 2731 and at Liberty A/V Solutions booth 3753. Celerity
products are also available at AVAD, booth 3469.
