INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

READ AND SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS

1. Shut off the power at the fuse box or circuit breaker box and remove old fixture from ceiling, including the old crossbar.
2. Carefully unpack your new fixture and lay out all the parts in a clear area. Take care not to misplace any small parts necessary for installation.
3. By measuring determine correct number of links needed for proper hanging height. Using a pair of proper chain pliers disconnect and discard remaining chain.
4. Place the decorative cover (N) and rubber (M) through the nipple (O),then secure with the loop(L).
5. Open on the end of the chain (E), attach the Loop (L) to the
Chain (E) and close the chain (E). Slip Loop Collar (K) followed by the Canopy over the chain. Open the other end link of the
Chain (E) and lift the fixture to attach to the ceiling loop (D), close the chain.
6. Lace the fixture wires through the chain.
7. Thread nipple (I) into ceiling loop (D) until snug.
8. Thread other end of nipple (I) with loop(D) attached into single bar (H) until snug.
9. Place lock washer (G) over end of nipple (I) protruding through crossbar and thread hex nut (F) onto nipple(I) until tight.
10. Feed the fixture wires through the Loop (D) ,the canopy(J) and nipple (I) and pull until taut.
11. At this point, connect the electrical wires as shown in Fig. 2.
Making sure that all wire connectors are secured. If your junction box has a ground wire (green or bare copper), attach this wire and the bare copper wire from the fixture together.
Otherwise, attach the bare copper fixture wire to the crossbar using the green screw (B) provided.
12. Take this single bar assembly and mount to ceiling outlet box
(A) with outlet box screws (C). Tighten screws securely with screwdriver.
13. Tuck these wire connections neatly into the ceiling outlet box and then raise the canopy (J) all the way to the ceiling. Raise the loop collar (K) and thread onto ceiling loop protruding through canopy (J).
14. At this point, unscrew the finial (S) and move the bottom decorative cover (R), unscrew the nut (T), then move the top decorative cover (Q) and the cage (P) to install bulbs in accordance with the fixture’s specification—DO NOT EXCEED

15. Replace the cage (P), and decorative cover (Q), secure with the nut (T). Then replace the decorative cover (R), secure with the finial (S).
Your installation is now complete. Return power to the outlet box and test the fixture.

Notice:It is important to use proper chain pliers(not included)
To OPEN and CLOSE the chain included with this fixture.Do
not open them with other tools that may twist or stress the chain links. It is important to use proper chain pliers like the ones shown in the diagram.
