The D510 has five full length PCI slots inside, so it has
plenty of room for every interface that we offer, including the
Tarsus PCM bit sync decom interface.

D510 Aerospace Applications
In the air or on the ground, Dewetron is involved in your most demanding testing needs
The D510 is right at home in your test chamber, hooked up to strain, pressure, acceleration, force and temperature sensors. In
addition you can input voltage and current, 4-20mA transducer outputs, and virtually every signal and sensor type. Whether you're
doing engine tests on the wing, in the SIL, or in the chamber, we are there. Recorder and X-Y graphs make plotting physical
parameters graphical and easy. Connect up a video camera and see what the test looked like. The D510 has five half length PCI slots,
so we can install ARINC, 1553, analog, digital and video interface cards - all within the same system. Easy to operate either directly
from its front panel, or via remote desktop connection. GPS and IRIG time code capabilities complete the suite of input requirements
of these applications, allowing you to record your data in sync with absolute time, and to plot your position on a map.

Rack-Mounting Configuration
Converts between benchtop and rack-mounting configurations in 10 minutes!
The D510 has been designed from the ground up to instantly convert between benchtop and rackmounting configurations. Simply
by removing the blue rubber endcaps and bolting on the slide rack kit and front panel "ears," the system can be in your 19" rack in
just a few minutes. Converting it back is just as easy. If you plan to rack-mount your D510, please order the option 510-RACK and we
will provide you with the ears and slide rails that you need. (The rails include the mates to be installed into your rack enclosure).

The channel quantity and ISOLATION needed for train testing
You can configure your D510 with up to 32 of our DAQ and HSI series high voltage modules, and directly input up to ±1400V. DAQPHV modules provide 300 kHz bandwidth, while the HSI-HV version provides 2 MHz bandwidth! When high bandwidth is needed we
recommend to upgrade the ORION card to our 1 MS/s/ch card - or even our 5 or 10 MS/s/ch ORION card (depending on how many
channels are reqiured). DAQP-LV and HSI-LV modules work perfectly with our current clamps and flexible coils, allowing you to make
precision voltage and current measurements with your D310. Add the DS-OPT-POWER software option and unlock a whole world

A very popular way of expanding the analog inputs is
to install more ORION cards into the instrument and
connect external signal conditioning amplifiers via
analog cables. Each D510 instrument has two spare
PCI-slots which can be used to install additional
ORION cards. Select a suitable external DEWE-30
or DEWE-31 series signal conditioning rack, the
required amplifiers and directly connect the analog
outputs to the ORION cards by analog signal
cables.

Expansion via TCP/IP
The NET expansion is a fantastic way to combine two or more D510 instruments to one multichannel system. Each
instrument must have the hardware option UP-ORION-SYNC and the software option DS-OPT-NET. Synchronization of
all units is required too. There are two synchronization methods: (1) a simple SYNC cable connection, for distances
up to 200 m, or (2) DEWE-CLOCK (internal or external), for long distances when a SYNC cable connection is not
possible. The DS-OPT-NET software offers full remote setup, online data transfer up to the limit of the network
connection and offline data transfer between the
instruments.

The PCI expansion is an alternative especially if high channel count is
needed. When using an expansion only one PCI slot is occupied in the
D510 instrument by a PCI-HOST-CARD. The DEWE-50, DEWE-51 and
DEWE-52 ADC racks can be connected by a 1m PCI cable. The ORION
cards are installed inside the DEWE-5x unit and you simply have to
select the suitable signal amplifiers for your needs.
Important notice: The D510 and the DEWE-5x must be equipped with
ORION-SYNC option.

Our 22 and 24 bit cards provide the highest dynamic range
(up to 120 dB), and are ideal for sinusoidal waveforms found
in nature, such as sound and vibration. They are not as good
at handling square waves as flash technology, but they provide benefits such as high dynamic range and automatic antialiasing filtering, protecting you against false signals caused
by sampling too slowly. Aliasing is never a worry when using
delta-sigma technology.
Our 16-bit cards utilize successive approximation “flash”
converters, which are adapt at a wide variety of signals,
including square waves. Flash converter offer the fastest
sample rates (up to 10 MS/s @ 16 bit) as well as easier
external clocking. This is ideal for distance-related A/D conversion, combustion analysis as well as order tracking applications (for example, when using encoder/hardware-clocked
order tracking).

You can configure your D510 with up to 32 of our DAQ and HSI series high voltage modules, and directly input up to ±1400V! DAQPHV modules provide 300 kHz bandwidth, while the HSI-HV version provides 2 MHz bandwidth! When high bandwidth is needed we
recommend to upgrade the ORION card to our 1 MS/s/ch card (UP-ORION-100-1000). DAQP-LV and HSI-LV modules work perfectly
with our current clamps and flexible coils, allowing you to make precision voltage and current measurements with your D510. Add
the POWER software option and unlock a whole world of power and energy related calculations and on-line displays, including active

The DAQP-HV is a plug-in module that provides 300 kHz bandwidth, and measuring ranges from
±20V to ±1400V, with 1800 Vrms line-to-line isolation and 1.4kV line-to-ground isolation. It is the
perfect amplifier for most power and energy measurement applications.
Need higher bandwidth? Choose the HSI-HV module, which increases the bandwidth to 2 MHz,
while retaining the high voltage ranges and powerful isolation.
Both versions of the HV module are availale with insulated safety type banana jacks, or optional

D510 Aerospace Applications
In the air or on the ground, Dewetron is involved in your most demanding testing needs
The D510 is right at home in your test chamber, hooked up to strain, pressure, acceleration, force and temperature sensors. In
addition you can input voltage and current, 4-20mA transducer outputs, and virtually every signal and sensor type. Whether you're
doing engine tests on the wing, in the SIL, or in the chamber, we are there. Recorder and X-Y graphs make plotting physical
parameters graphical and easy. Connect up a video camera and see what the test looked like. The system can be operated either
directly from its front panel, or via remote desktop connection (we recommend and offer RADMIN3 software for this purpose). GPS
and IRIG time code capabilities complete the suite of input requirements of these applications, allowing you to record your data in
sync with absolute time, and to plot your position on a map.

Every instrument eventually needs service, or calibration.
We’ve got a team in place at our Wakefield USA headquarters who are ready and able to assist you with both.
Our SERVICE department specializes in getting your
DEWETRON system back up and running. And because
computers age faster than anything else, we also perform
computer upgrades on our older systems - or even rehosting your signal conditioning into a new platform. Please

Our CALIBRATION LAB calibrates our products according
to NIST and ANSI Z540 standards. ISO/IEC 17025 cailbration is also available if required. Every DEWETRON product
is calibrated each time it passes through our factory, and
a traceable certificate is provided. Complete CAL DATA
