TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION
The HDBaseT HDMI extender system allows the user the ability to transmit the HDMI signal up to 230 ft.,
(70 M) through an HDBaseT Category extension cable. (330 ft. (100M) & 500 ft. (150M) sets are also
available) The HDBaseT transmitter and receiver units can also be remotely powered by each other so only
one power supply is needed. Operation is as easy as connecting the transmitter and receiver with an
HDBaseT RJ45 category cable, connecting the AC power adaptor to one side, and connecting the source and
display. You have the flexibility to choose between a one gang Decora™ style wall plate transmitter/receiver or a box style transmitter/receiver, or even mix and match to help provide a custom solution and cleaner
wiring solution.
Status Indicators
“Power indicator” – This is a red LED. On the transmitter it is located on the circuit boards right side about
an inch from the top, behind the wall plate. On the Receiver it is located about an inch from the bottom near
the center of the board under the wall plate. This indicator will show solid when the product is receiving power. If this LED is not illuminated please check the supply power.
Act or “O indicator”– This green LED will blink showing that the device is functioning normal on both the receiver and the transmitter.
HDBT or “Link indicator”– This green LED solid illumination shows that all connections are good and the
source and display are powered on. A blinking condition shows that the RJ45 connection is present, but there
is no source to display connection. No illumination shows that there is no connection thru the RJ45 category
cable.
HDMI or “H indicator” – This green LED solid status shows that the HDCP link is present between the source
and the display. A blinking condition indicates there is not a HDCP connection, and an off condition shows a
problem between the device and the source/destination in the HDMI connections.
