Safety Symbol and Message Conventions
Safety symbols and messages described below
are used in this manual to prevent bodily injury and
property damage which could result from mishandling.
Before operating your product, read this manual first
and understand the safety symbols and messages
so you are thoroughly aware of the potential safety
Indicates a potentially hazardous situation which,
if mishandled, could result in death or serious
personal injury.
Indicates a potentially hazardous situation which,
if mishandled, could result in moderate or minor
personal injury, and/or property damage.
When Installing the speaker
• Install the speaker only in a location that can
structurally support the weight of the speaker and
the mounting bracket. Doing otherwise may result
in the speaker falling down and causing personal
injury and/or property damage.
• A sliding retainer clip is designed to temporarily
hold the speaker in four places during installation
and service. Always be sure that the speaker is
further secured by the anchor bolt to ensure that
it does not accidentally fall and possibly result in
personal injury.
• Use only the speaker’s specified front grille and
matching transformer. If any other front grille or
matching transformer is used, it could detach and
fall, resulting in personal injuries.
When the speaker is in Use
• Should the following irregularity be found during
use, immediately switch off the power amplifier
which is driving the speaker and contact your
nearest TOA dealer. Make no further attempt to
operate the speaker in this condition as this may
cause fire or electric shock.
· If you detect smoke or a strange smell coming
from the speaker.
· If water or any metallic object gets into the speaker
· If the speaker falls, or the speaker case breaks
· If it is malfunctioning (no tone sounds.)
When Installing the speaker
• Since installation requires specialized skills and
professional experience, always consult the
shop from where the unit was purchased before
beginning installation. If the speaker should fall, it
could result in electrical shocks or other personal
When the speaker is in Use
• Do not operate the speaker for an extended
period of time with the sound distorting. This is an
indication of a malfunction, which in turn can cause
heat to generate and result in a fire.
• Have the speaker unit checked periodically by the
shop from where it was purchased. Failure to do so
may result in corrosion or damage to the speaker or
its mounting bracket that could cause the speaker
to fall, possibly causing personal injury.
The ES-C0651 is a high power ceiling flush-mount speaker designed to be mounted to the medium and high ceiling.

• Compression driver with aluminum diaphragm assures high power reproduction.
• New coaxial horn (constant directivity of 60° horizontal by 60° vertical) assures a uniform, well-controlled pattern of high
frequency sound dispersion.
• Anchor bracket supplied.
• Push-in speaker connection and terminals facilitate installation.
