Frequently asked questions

Prior to installing modules, obtain information about site, installation and inspection requirements from relevant authorities. Ensure that the construction or structure can bear the module system load. Do not stand or step on the modules, and keep children and unauthorized persons away from the installation site. Use electrically insulated tools, and do not connect modules when current is present. Always maintain a minimum clearance between the module and the mounting surface. Secure cables using UV-resistant cable ties, and protect exposed connectors from weathering.

To connect modules in series, connect the positive terminal of one module to the negative terminal of the next. To connect in parallel, connect the positive terminal of one module to the positive terminal of the next. Ensure that the wiring is correct before starting up the system. Make sure that connections are safe and tight.

The recommended method is clamping. The module is securely fastened at a minimum of 4 points on two opposite sides. Use a torque wrench for installation, and tighten the module clamps to the mounting rails using the torque stated by the mounting hardware manufacturer.
