I.
INSTRUCTION
The digital price-computing scale is a precision weighing instrument. Its fast, accurate
price-computing ability is excellent for a variety of supermarkets, grocery stores, food services and retail
stores.
II.
BEFORE USING THE SCALE
To enable you to use this scale correctly, we suggest that you read these instructions carefully.
1.
Must be prevented from getting wet. If it gets wet, please wipe it dry with a cloth.
2.
It must not be bumped against other items or overloaded with excessively heavy weights (The
load must not exceed the maximum capacity of the scale).
3.
Keep it away from high temperatures and damp conditions.
4.
If the machine will not be used for some time, please clean it and store in a polythene bag. A
desiccant may be included.
5.
If the machine will not be used for some time, the scale must be recharged (the internal
battery) every 3 months. When it is used, please recharge scale before using. When
recharging, it should be prevented power is excessively high or discharged. This may make
the life of battery decreased.
6.
In order to prevent the battery block dead, please recharge the battery of the scale which is
kept in warehouses over 2 months before using.
III. PREPARATIONS BEFORE USE
1.
Place the scale on a stable surface.
2.
Adjust the four feet to center the leveling bubble on the scale.
3.
Avoid hot sunshine directly on the scale or near the exhaust port of
ventilating system.
4.
There should be no weight on the scale when power is turned on.
5.
Please note when
recharging.
6.
Commodity should be placed at the center of platter when being weighed,
and can’t be exceeded to the dimension of the platter.

“WEIGHT” display window:
5 digits with “ – “ ahead to show negative numbers.
2.
“UNIT PRICE” display window:

“TOTAL PRICE” display window: 6 digits with 2 digit behind the decimal point, 4 digits before it
or to fix according to difference of currency systems.
5 digits with the decimal point to set therein.

KEYBOARD FUNCTION AND OPERATION
(1) 0 ~ 9 : Numerical Key
Press this key to set the unit price, quantity and calibration etc.
(2) • or “00” : Press once to enter the “decimal point” or “double zero (00)”
If the “00” function is available, press • and the Unit Price will show “00”, (eg. Press 1 and then
press this • , the display shows 100.)
If the decimal point key function is available (fluctuating), the function is as the following:

If 123 is shown on Unit Price, the display will show “123” by pressing the
(3) CE : Unit Price Clearing
If you want to change the unit price entered, press this key to set it back to zero and enter the new
unit price. (If the unit price has been entered over 3 seconds, it’s available to enter the new unit price,
and the scale will clear the old one automatically. The scale will function according setting.)
•Recall Function: When “0” is shown on the Unit Price, press the
“Accumulation count” and “Accumulation amount”.

(4) QTY : Quantity
When there is more than 1 piece of the same item, such as cans which priced by pieces,) input the
unit price first and then press the QTY key to enter the number of items. (It must be a whole
number up to 999.) The total amount will be shown in Total Price. (The same function as the
calculator’s multiply.) At this moment, press the + key to store it in “Accumulation”. When the
total price is over the value that the display could show, the
+ key would be invalid. When the Unit Price is “0,” the QTY key is invalid as well.
1) If Unit Price is 123.45, and Total Price is decimal 2 bits, press the

(6) M+ : For the commodities which is charged by weight, press
memory.

Notes: This key is not active if:
1. Total price is over the value that the display is not capable to show.
2. The scale is not stable within 3 seconds when the stability judgment for saving is set in the
specification setting.
3. Weight value is negative.
4. Unit Price value is 0.
•Accumulation counts ⇒ the total counts for M+ key and + key is up to 99, and it can be
recalled for the last 10 accumulated counts and will show as below:

(7) MR : When there is the “accumulation” in the memory, press the MR key for showing the last
10 accumulated counts accordingly. Provided that the first count’s quantity is 6 pieces, and the Unit
Price is “123.45”, Total Price will be “740.70”; the second count is 1.000kg, unit price is “123.45”,
and Total Price is “123.45”. Shown as the following:

Press the MC key to clear the current count data. The accumulated total price will deduct the
current total price. When the last count is shown, press the MR key and the display shows as
below:

(8) MC : Memory Clear Key
When there is “Accumulation” amount in memory, press MC to clear all the accumulated data,
and then the accumulation symbol “3” will disappear.
(9) CH : Change Key
When pressing CH key, the Total Price will display the total amount of the deal (if with
accumulation, accumulated amount will be shown; if not, the current amount will be shown.) And
then key-in the sum of money paid by customer, the Unit Price will display the change balance for
customer.
Note: This key is not active if the Total Price is “0” or no accumulated data.
Ex.: If the accumulated amount is 123.45, when the data in Weight is less than the accumulated
amount, the display shows as below:

T : Tare key
Press T key to deduct the weight of the object being weighed, and the Tare symbol will be
displayed in Weight column. It’s invalid for full-scale tare and negative tare. Press
Z key” to cancel tare function within the zero range or under the actual weight is zero.
The T key is only valid in the weighing mode.
Ex.: Place the weight on the platter (3kg), press the
display will show as below:

Notes:
When voltage of battery is below 5.6v,
symbol appears on the screen; meanwhile, the scale
needs to be recharged in order to work in the normal condition. When voltage is below 5.4v, the
scale will automatically switch off.
