MRRF18 INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

1. Make sure the radio is turned off.

2. Connect the receiver module ’s 1/8 th

(3.5mm) jack into the “IR connector” located at the back of the radio. Power will be supplied through the IR connection.

3. Keep the Antenna wire (long BLACK color wire) straight and positioned away from any metal and power amps.

4. The Program wire (ORANGE color wire) does not connect to anything. Systems will be pre-programmed at the

factory and no additional steps should be necessary. In case your remote is not working, please follow instructions

Program Wire below on how to re-program your remote. When programming a new remote, the radio needs to be connected to power and ground.

Programming a new transmitter:

1. Connect the Program wire (orange wire) to +12Volts DC.

2. Push any button on the remote for 1 second and then release.

3. Disconnect Program wire (orange wire) from +12Volts DC.

Battery Installation

1. Use 2 x 3 volt CR2032 coin cell batteries

2. Open the back panel by removing all 8 screws

3. Remove 2 old batteries and replace with fresh battery, be sure to note correct polarity

4. Replace back panel

4. Remote is now programmed.

Up to 8 remotes can be programmed to any receiver

To clear ALL matched remotes from receiver connect Program wire (orange wire) to +12Volts DC and firmly press “SELECT” and “FUNCTION+” buttons simultaneously for 15 seconds.

This unit is warranted to be free of defects in material and workmanship for a period of one year. Warranty is subject to proper installation and operation within the published specifications. Except as provided below, Poly-Planar will repair or replace, at its discretion, any unit returned prepaid to our facility with proper documentation and determined to be defective in normal use. Poly-Planar is not liable for any consequential damages.

LIMITS OF LIABILITY

Proof of date of purchase is required for warranty service of this unit.

Poly-Planar will consider this warranty void if unit has been tampered with or has had serial number altered, defaced or removed. Poly-Planar warranty does not cover damage incurred in transit, accident, abuse, misuse, negligence, fire, flood, lightning, or unauthorized service. This warranty assumes no responsibility for damages incurred during installation of this equipment. This warranty does not cover labor costs for removal of defective unit or reinstallation of replacement unit. This warranty covers normal consumer use only. In no event shall Poly-Planar be liable for special, incidental, or consequential damages.

To obtain service under this warranty, please call Poly-Planar for a RETURN AUTHORIZATION NUMBER. After a return authorization number is issued, return unit with proof of purchase and a letter stating your return address, daytime phone number and detail description of the problem or malfunction. poly-planar
