ANEMOMETER
The Turbo Meter is based on the principle that a freely turning turbine will
rotate at a speed directly proportional
to the wind speed. To insure maximum
sensitivity and accuracy, the turbine is
suspended on sapphire jewel bearings, and its rotation is sensed by an
infrared light beam which adds no friction. The resulting signal is processed
electronically by a large scale integrated circuit for improved reliability and
reduced size. A special three digit display is used for extra resolution and
provides excellent viewing contrast in
bright sunlight. A handy switch selects
between four different scales for
unmatched versatility. The totally
enclosed turbine and compact size
make it easy to carry, so you always
have it with you when you need it.

ROTATING VANE ANEMOMETERS
The LCA30VT is an electronic rotating vane anemometer providing a direct reading of air velocity. It has a single push button
control in the hand grip. When this button is pressed and held
down, the instrument averages the air velocity over three or six
seconds. The air velocity is displayed digitally, and the reading is
held as long as the button remains depressed. The LCA30VA
operates on the same basis but can also provide direct reading
of volume flow with the facility to directly input duct or grille area.
The LCA30is offers the same features as the LCA30VA but is
certified by BASEEFA to be intrinsically safe to EEx ia IIC T5
Zone 0 hazardous areas.
All units are completely self-contained battery powered units
requiring no separate timer, and can be used with one hand.
They are robust and reliable, and no mechanical link between the
vane and the readout; the vane itself is the only moving part. The
casing is molded from a high impact ABS material.

ANEMOMETER/THERMO-HYGROMETER
Model DA40H Digital Hygro-Thermometer Anemometer is a
versatile instrument for measuring air velocity, temperature and
relative humidity. Special features include being switchable
between feet per minute (fpm) and meters per second (mps).
Also, the temperature reading is switchable between °F and °C.
Included is a hold/reset button so that the display can be frozen
when recording readings. It can also indicate the average, minimum and maximum readings. Air velocity readings can be averaged over 2 seconds or 16 seconds.This instrument is a must for
any one in the heating, ventilation and air conditioning industry.
Specific applications include environmental monitoring, paint
booths, air balancing and many others where accurate air velocity, temperature and relative humidity are essential.
Model HTA4200, in addition to all of the outstanding features
offered by the DA40H, has datalogging and memory storage
capabilities. Up to 1,000 triple measurements (%RH, °F/°C, and
fpm/mps) can be stored and the collected data can be transferred to a printer or PC through a RS-232C interface. Data
acquisition can be performed manually or automatically with the
optional timer. The HTA4200 also features three analog outputs.

The line of VelociCheck Air Velocity Meters provides a cost
effective way to quickly and accurately make the air velocity
measurements you need. The VelociChecks are small,
pocket-sized meters that require no training, just pick up
the meter and start taking readings.
The digital Model 8330 has an extended velocity range
(up to 4000 ft/min) and temperature measuring capability.
The Model 8330 also features a 37-inch telescoping
probe. The intrinsically safe digital Model 8340
measures velocity from 0 to 2000 ft/min. This model is
listed by UL as intrinsically safe for use in hazardous
locations for Divisions 1 and 2 in Class I, Groups C
and D; Class II, Groups E, F and G; and Class III
when used with
alkaline batteries.

The Series 471 Digital Thermo-Anemometer is a versatile dual
function instrument which quickly and easily measures air velocity
in four field selectable ranges – feet per minute or meters per second – plus air temperature in °F or °C. High contrast LCD display
shows both range selected and present velocity. Convenient backlight provides perfect visibility in low light conditions. Light automatically shuts off after 2 1/2 minutes to prolong battery life. Low battery warning is included. Extruded aluminum housing fully protects
electronics yet is lightweight and comfortable to hold even when
taking multiple readings as part of duct traverses.
Stainless steel probe with comfortable hand grip is etched with
insertion depth marks from 0-8 inches and 0-20 cm on the model
471-1. When fully extended, the model 471-2 reaches 33 in.
(83cm). An integral sliding cover protects sensors when not in use.

The Standard of Professionals
The Series 6000 Velometer Kit provides quick, accurate air velocity measurements from as low as 50 fpm to as high as 10,000
fpm. It is the standard of professionals in a variety of applications
such as: HVAC balancing, OSHA compliance checks, energy
audits, drying systems, hood and spray booth monitoring, fan
and blower characteristics, and static pressure measurements.
The Velometer is a swinging-vane type anemometer. Air passes
through a tunnel and causes a vane and pointer to move in proportion to the air velocity. There are no batteries or electrical
mechanisms to run down. It is intrinsically safe and can be used
in hazardous or explosive atmospheres. The Velometer is easy
to handle when making measurements, especially in awkward or
hard-to-reach areas. It measures 6” x 6-1/4” x 2-3/4” and weighs
only 10 ounces. The meter can be held in virtually any position
and still give accurate readings. Its tough polycarbonate case
features a retractable handle and raised edges for easy gripping.
Interchangeable Probes
The Lo-Flow Probe (Model 6050P) is designed to be used without the range selector and is calibrated to measure air velocities
in the range of 50 to 300 fpm. The 12" Pitot Probe (Model
6060P-12) is ideal for measuring air velocities at supply openings
and ducts, or wherever air is being moved in a system. The 7"
Diffuser Probe (Model 6070P) is for checking the volume of air
flowing from ceiling and wall diffusers, and grilles (both supply
and return). With the grille or diffuser manufacturers' K factor, air
velocity readings can be converted directly to CFM. Two Static
Pressure Probes offer different ranges (0 - 1.0" of water for
Model 6080CP, 0 - 10.0" of water for Model 6080AP) and are
ideal for verifying fan/exhaust static pressures and for establishing slight differentials in air separation systems.
Broad Range Velometer
The Velometer has a taut band suspension and counter balanced
pointer to provide a rugged yet highly sensitive movement. The
meter has seven scales, five velocity ranges calibrated in fpm (0
- 300, 0 - 1,250, 0 - 2,500, 0 - 5,000, 0 - 10,000) and two incheswater static pressure ranges (0 - 1.0, 0 - 10.0). Accuracy is ±2%
of full fpm scales and 5% on the static pressure scales. The
length of the top scale is 5" for easy readability. Equivalent metric scales are also available.

Exclusive Range Selectors
Range changes are easy to make with the range selectors. The
range selectors hold the probes and house two sets of calibrated
restricters which control the ranges and eliminate the need for

cable to plug-in terminal block through a liquid tight cable gland.

5/16” dia. stainless steel probe with etched 12” insertion depth scale.

The central components of the Series 640 Transmitter are the
velocity and temperature sensors located in the tip of the probe.
The velocity sensor is a constant temperature thermistor which
measures the air velocity, referenced to standard conditions, by
sensing the cooling effect of the moving air passing over the
heated sensor. The power required to maintain the velocity sensor temperature, as provided by the control circuitry in the electronics package, is a function of the air velocity. The velocity sensor is rugged enough to tolerate particulate contamination and
still provide fast response to changes in air velocity. A temperature sensor in the probe tip compensates for a wide range of air
stream temperature variations. Each transmitter is individually
calibrated at our factory in a computer controlled wind tunnel.
During this calibration procedure, the inherent non-linearity of the
thermistor velocity sensor is automatically corrected by the
appropriate programming of an EPROM in a linearizer circuit of
the electronics package.

Air Filter Gauge
This compact inclined-vertical air filter gauge measures, with
accuracy to ±3% of full scale, pressures both above and below
atmospheric, as well as pressure differentials. A logarithmic
curve-shaped tube provides high range capacity with large, more
easily read increments at low readings. The operating range is 0
to 3 inches water, with divisions of .01 inches water at the low
end scale, and .120" inches water at the high end. This gauge is
simply constructed of molded acrylic plastic and is suitable for
use in ambient temperatures from -20° to +159°F.

Accurately measure air distribution in your HVAC systems with
these air volume meters. Lightweight hood fits over standardsized grilles and diffusers and channels airflow into the meter’s
base. The specially designed manifold senses air flow at 16
points, improving measurements taken at diffusers - even those
with unusual flow patterns. The reading is then displayed directly
on a large LCD - no need for complicated calculations!
This balometer features auto-scaling capabilities, for accurate
readings in both supply and exhaust air flows, with a 4-1/2 digit
LCD readout of airflow volume in user selectable units of cubic
feet per minute (CFM), cubic meters per hour (m3/h) or liters per
second (l/s); and temperature in °F or °C. User selectable time
constants allow for steady airflow readings. Freeze readings with
a button on the handle. Meter is removable for independent use
with multiple probes, allowing you to use the same instrument for
a variety of applications such as air velocity, temperature and
relative humidity.
Each unit comes complete with base, meter, hood supports, and
soft carrying case. Three different systems are available with a
variety of capture hood sizes to meet your specific needs. Model
151 comes with one 2' x 2' hood, while Model 153 includes 2' x

Precise air flow measurement directly in CFM!
The Alnor Balometer makes your job easier. It only takes one
person to operate the Balometer, while conventional air flow
measuring is often done with two. With the Balometer, you get
direct CFM readings. This eliminates the need for calculations
and K factors, and saves even more of your valuable time. You
can take more readings more often and balance air flow for maximum energy efficiency and energy dollar savings.
No special training or skills are required to operate the
Balometer. The blue hood fits over the grilles or diffusers and
channels air flow through a manifold to a specially designed
base. Sixteen areas of equal size in the base sense air flow, and
the reading is displayed directly in CFM. Regardless of the air
pattern, you are assured of accurate readings.
The Balometer has a unique range selector for accurate readings
in both supply and exhaust air flow. You can select from four
ranges: 0-250, 200-500, 400-1000 and 800-2000 CFM. Each unit
comes complete with base, range selector and meter, hood supports, and rigid carrying case. Three different systems are available with a variety of capture hood sizes to meet your specific
needs. Model 6461 includes one 2' x 2' hood, while Model 6463
comes with 2' x 2', 2' x 4' and 1' x 4' hoods. Model 6465 features

The X-Grid is a fundamental pressure sensing device designed
to transmit a continuous differential pressure signal. Once
installed and connected to a suitable measuring instrument, ie.
manometer, pressure transducer, dial gauge, etc. this device will
provide years of trouble free monitoring of both air and gas flow.
The X-Grid is comprised of two stainless steel tubes mounted
diagonally across a duct and secured in place with the fixing kit
supplied. The tubes are drilled with a series of equi-spaced holes
to sense total and sub-static pressure. These two pressures are
averaged in each tube and provide a differential pressure
approximately two times greater than the duct mean velocity
pressure, thereby allowing accurate measurement and control
even in low air flows.
The X-Grid is supplied in a kit form to allow both workshop or
on-site installation into a wide range of square and circular ducts
of varying sizes.

The Volume-Aire permits measuring CFM directly and

Dwyer Model 660 Air Velocity Monitor is a practical, affordable way to alert personnel to insufficient exhaust rates in
typical laboratory fume hoods. No remote sensors or complicated wiring - just a single device with an integral flow sensor
powered by 24 VAC. A sensitive constant temperature thermistor bead is centered in the flow tube which is connected to
the fume hood side wall via 1 1/2” flexible tubing. The fume
hood blower simultaneously draws air at a proportional rate
through both the open sash area and the Model 660 Air
Velocity Monitor. By accurately measuring this sampling, the
instrument provides continuous assurance that proper ventilation is being supplied - and warns when its not!
As the cooling effect of moving air changes the thermistor
output, electronic circuitry varies the current level to keep
temperature at a factory set standard condition. By comparing
the amount of current needed to maintain this standard temperature versus normal current, velocity is accurately calculated and indicated by the red (low), green (normal), and yellow
(high) LEDs. An audible alarm is also initiated upon a low flow
condition in case the visual warning light is overlooked.
Manual acknowledgement is required to silence. A momentary contact Test pad allows confirmation that all warnings are
operating properly.
Because of the wide range of sizes, configurations and flow
requirements of various types of fume hoods, the Model 660
Air Velocity Monitor includes field adjustable settings for both
low and high limits. A suitable flow measuring device such as
a Dwyer Model 480 Vaneometer™ or Model 470-1 Handheld
Thermal Anemometer is used to indicate the flow rate while
adjusting the sash door or blower speed for specified limits.
As low and high flow levels are reached, individual potentiometers are set to activate the red and yellow LEDs, respectively. The green or Normal LED will operate automatically
when flow is between the Low (0-150 fpm) and High (0-275
fpm) setpoints. Once calibration and installation are complete,
settings are inaccessible from the front panel to discourage
tampering.
Mounting holes are spaced to fit standard single gang electrical box or unit can be flush mounted on fascia of fume hood
side wall in a 2.125” x 2.938” (54 x 74.5 mm) opening.

The Model 8710 DP-Calc Micromanometer is a comprehensive
measurement solution for industrial hygienists, certification personnel and HVAC professionals who measure pressure, temperature, velocity and flow.
The available velocity matrix accessory probe lets you quickly
obtain an averaged 16-point measurement over a square-foot
area. With the velocity matrix, the Model 8710 is ideally suited for
a variety of general face velocity measurements, including HEPA
clean-room filters, large air filters, coils, fume hoods and bio-safety cabinets. An adjustable telescoping extension handle enables
convenient positioning and increased instrument versatility.
Auto-zero technology ensures each measurement starts from the
same reference point. With automatic zeroing you save time be
eliminating manual zero calibration between readings.
The Model 8710 sensor accurately measures pressure from

MANOMETERS
These inexpensive manometers measure positive, negative and
differential pressures. Dwyer Flex-Tube® U-Tube Manometers
combine the inherent accuracy of the simple “U” tube with durability of tough long-lasting plastic construction. Columns are of
.375” O.D. flexible and shatter-proof clear butyrate tubing. They
are easily accessible for cleaning. Indicating tube is cradled by
white scale channel to provide maximum colour contrast. Scales
are extruded high impact polystyrene plastic, formed to hold
columns in perfect alignment. Stark white scales have graduations and numbers silk screen printed in black for positive definition. They are acrylic coated for permanence and are easy to
read, even at a distance.
You can choose from numerous models and features including
over-pressure safety traps, in full scale ranges from 8” to 36” of
water or mercury. All are suitable for total pressures to 100 psi for determining velocity and static pressures, leakage, fan and
blower efficiency, filter resistance, and gas pressures. Ideal wherever a portable, direct reading manometer is needed. Standard
ranges and markings as shown, or special ranges, colours, logos
and brand names for OEM quantity orders are available.
Model No. 1222
Series 1221 Manometer. Our simplest, lowest cost, basic Ugauge. A dependable U-tube manometer that withstands hard
use and provides accurate, high visibility readings. For use with
water, mercury or red gauge oil. For mercury filled manometers,
a scale clamp bar Part No. A-363 (available as an extra for
Series 1221, standard on Series 1222) is recommended. A pair
of carrying plugs and a pair of non-kink vinyl tube connectors are
included with each manometer.
Series 1222 Manometer. All of the features of the 1221 plus
magnetic clips for mounting to any vertical steel surface, and
clamp bar to insure against U-tube slipping. (Especially recommended for manometers used with mercury). Both magnets are
easily removed and replaced at the user’s convenience.

Series 1223 Manometer. Our finest “U” gauge - for either
portable or stationary use. Tubing is permanently bonded to a
molded, high impact acrylic plastic top that contains safety traps.
Safety traps prevent loss of indicating fluid in case of accidental
over-pressure. Over-pressures, whether gradual or a sudden
surge, simply raise the cork and seal the fluid in the gauge.
When the pressure drops, the trap opens and the gauge
resumes operation. Large magnetic clips and clamp bar are provided. Standard type “A” connections include two rapid shut-off
type molded nylon tubing connections, two 3-foot lengths of flexible Tygon plastic tubing, and two 1/8” pipe thread to tube
adapters.
How to Order:
1) Indicate Series such as: 1222.
2) Indicate range desired, such as: 8, 12 or M200.
3) Specify “W/M” with model no. for inches* of water, using
water; or inches* of mercury, using mercury. Specify “D” with
model no. for inches* of water using .826 sp. gr. red gauge
oil. (If not otherwise indicated, “W/M” style manometers will
be shipped).
4) For Series 1223 only, state the connection option desired if
other than standard type “A”. For example, 1223-12-D-"B" is
a Series 1223, range 12” w.c. (scale 6-0-6), using red gauge

MANOMETERS
Dwyer Flex-Tube Well-Type Manometers are designed to meet
the need for a direct reading single column instrument capable of
providing highly accurate pressure readings, positive, negative or
differential. Unlike other makes, Dwyer manometers have no hidden wells or packing glands. These manometers are constructed
of shatter-proof, clear plastic tubing permanently secured to well
assemblies by leak-proof glued joints. Well assemblies are precisely machined from solid acrylic plastic. Over pressure safety
traps give absolute protection against loss of fluid. Heavy pure
white acrylic plastic scales have crisp black silk-screened figures
and graduations sealed with clear mylar coating. Scales are
adjusted by quick acting, positive mechanism. Heavy, heat treated aluminum, back plates have grey hammerloid finish. These
instruments are suitable for pressures up to 100 psi.
Series 1230 Manometers (wall mounting type) have mounting
holes for easy installation. They may also be used as portable
manometers and can be hung or attached to any vertical steel
surface by magnetic mounting clips. All parts are fully visible and
readily accessible for cleaning.
Series 1235 Manometers (panel mounting type). All pressure
connections are made from the back, with the micrometer zero
scale adjustment in front at the base of the liquid column.
Multi-Tube Manometers of the same design as the 1235 Series,
are available with any number of tubes mounted on a single
panel. They are designed for semi-flush panel mounting with all
pressure connections made from the back. Reading columns are
on 1-1/2” centers.

How to Order:
Please indicate scale desired. Specify “WM” with Model No. for
inches of water, using water or inches of mercury, using mercury;

gauge oil is often preferred for readings in inches of water

AIR FILTER GAUGES
Highly accurate and easy to use, yet almost indestructible,
Dwyer Series 250-AF Inclined Air Filter Gauges are foolproof
and dependable. There are no moving parts - no mechanical linkages - nothing to wear out, jam or deteriorate from vibration.
They never need calibration. The only servicing required is occasional zeroing. If cleaning is necessary, it is easily done with
soap and water.
Construction: Dwyer Durablock® Series 250-AF Gauges are
precision machined 1” thick solid acrylic plastic, virtually unbreakable and free of distortion. The fluid bore is precision drilled to
±.0002” to assure life long accuracy. A glass spirit level is built
into the body and encapsulated to prevent damage or tampering.
The scale is mirror polished chrome plated brass to assure parallax free reading by alignment of the meniscus with its reflection.
Safety traps are incorporated in the body to prevent loss of fluid
due to pressure surges. Red and green signal flags indicate
clearly when a filter change is necessary. Gauges are suitable for
use in ambient temperatures of -20° to +150°F. Connection fittings are positively sealed by “O” rings but easily removed for
zeroing or addition of fluid. Furnished complete with instructions.
Installation: 250-AF Series are manometer type gauges which
are customarily mounted directly on the wall of the filter housing.
The static pressure tips are installed through 7/16” holes in the
filter wall with tips pointing into the air flow using the 1/4” aluminum tubing and compression fittings which are furnished.
Zeroing is accomplished by turning the vent valves (optional at
extra cost) to “vent” position - or by pulling the connections from
the gauge body if vent valves are not used - and sliding the
adjustable scale until the zero mark lies directly behind the indicating fluid meniscus.
Standard Accessories:
Two static pressure tips with integral compression fittings and
two five foot lengths of 1/4” aluminum tubing plus two compression fittings, mounting hardware and extra bottles of gauge oil
are furnished.

single, direct readings in two ranges
As a regular U-tube manometer it indicates high range pressure
from 0 to 16 inches of water (with .2" minor divisions) on the right
leg; as an inclined manometer it reads low range pressure from

SLACK-TUBE MANOMETERS
Slack-Tube Manometers are ideal for determining
velocity and static pressures, for leakage, fan and
blower tests, calibrating control devices, checking
gas pressure and many other applications.
Standard accessories: Metal carrying case; two magnetic

Dwyer Slack-Tube Manometers cover a wide range of pressure
readings, from 4-0-4 inches up to 60-0-60 inches. All models
have flexible vinyl-plastic columns and flexible spring steel scale
calibrated in inches of water using water, and inches of mercury
using mercury. Scale is center-mounted between columns
to eliminate parallax error and has a full 2-inch sliding zero
adjustment.
All slack-tube manometers feature exclusive molded nylon tubing
connector assemblies with rapid shutoff design and an acrylic
plastic top. Molded all-nylon construction makes this assembly
corrosion-proof, leakproof and practically unbreakable. Tubing
connectors extend horizontally allowing 360° freedom. Tubes

Gauge fluids in 3/4 ounce size are furnished in unbreakable
plastic dispenser type bottle. Larger sizes are supplied in glass
or plastic bottles with screw caps. Mercury is supplied only in the
single size plastic container.
Red Gauge Oil, .826 sp. gr. The standard fluid for use in inclined
manometers. “D” type vertical manometers and all Dwyer gauges
using red oil.
Blue Gauge Oil, 1.910 sp. gr. For special instruments.
Violet Gauge Oil, 1.000 sp. gr. Use in place of water if better
meniscus is desired.
Fluorescein Green Colour Concentrate, water colouring agent.
Not to be used full strength. Add 3/4 oz. to a quart of distilled
water. Contains a wetting agent to improve the meniscus characteristics. Use in vertical manometers only.
Mercury, triple distilled, 13.6 sp. gr.
Clear vinyl tubing is easily inspected and is therefore best for test
applications where a possibility of fluid entering the tubing exists.
Rubber tubing has less tendency to kink in storage, and occupies
less space, thus is best for portable work. Metal tubing is recommended for permanent installations. Double column tubing is
used with Mark II manometers and the wind speed indicator.

STATIC PRESSURE SENSORS
Used to sense static pressure drop across air filters, coils, fan
discharge pressures, etc. To sense static pressure, we offer tips
with a variety of fittings and accessories. They are used with
manometers, Magnehelic gauges, pressure switches and other
controllers to show (or control from) static pressure drop across
air filters and coiling coils, blower inlet and discharge pressures.
The four angles tips shown have 4" insertion depth. Each has
four radially drilled 0.4" sensing holes. All except Model A-305
mount in 3/8" hole in duct. For portable use, a magnet holds
Model A-303 in place. Model A-305 is used where a very low
actuation or sensing point is required on a pressure switch or
gauge or where response time is critical. Model A-307 and
A-308 are suitable for use in low velocity systems or where the
need for accuracy is less critical.

gauges, Dwyer Pitot Tubes are constructed from corrosion resistant stainless steel for a lifetime of service. ASME design meets
AMCA and ASHRAE specifications for maximum accuracy over a
wide variety of flow conditions. No correction factors required as
ASHRAE tip design yields a calibration factor of 1. ASHRAE
design needs no calibration! Permanent, stamped insertion depth
graduation on sides of 160 Series facilitate accurate positioning.
Static pressure port is parallel to sensing tube allowing quick,
easy alignment of tube with air flow. Low sensitivity to misalignment gives accurate reading even when tube is misaligned up to
15 degrees. Several convenient mounting options are available
for permanent installations.

No. A-158 Split Flange Mounting: Can be added to any Dwyer
No. 160 Standard Pitot Tube. Cadmium plated steel. Gasket is
pattern for mounting holes. Secure flange loosely to tube, adjust
tube depth and tighten screws. Gasket of 1/16” neoprene fits
tightly around tube and against duct for leak-proof seal. Nuts and
washers included.
No. A-159 Mounting Gland: Versatile adapter slips on any
Series 160, 5/16” standard pitot tube made after Dec. 1990.
Two-part stainless steel fitting slides over tube and provides
perma-nent, secure mounting. Where duct interior is accessible,
use the washers and jam nut supplied. For blind applications or
in thicker materials, install in a standard 1/2” pipe flange. Once
tube is adjusted to proper depth and angle, tighten smaller hex
bushing to lock position. Graphite bushing inside assures leakproof seal even at higher temperatures. Teflon bushing also
available. NOTE: For full insertion with this fitting, order next
longer pitot tube.
No. A-397 Step Drill: For fast, convenient installation of pitot
tubes in sheet metal ducts. No center punch needed; automatic
de-burring. Drills six sizes from 3/16” - 1/2” in 1/16” increments.

SMOKE PUFFER
One of the most convenient and widely used smoke sources.
Provides smoke on demand. Simply squeeze the rubber bulb
handle for discrete puffs or a continuous stream. Each reload
smoke tube produces 250 to 500 puffs of smoke. After use,

SMOKE CANDLES
Studying Air Flow
Smoke mixed with air or gases simplifies the observation of flow
patterns in all types of apparatus or wind tunnels, indoor and outdoor areas, to mention a few applications. Heating and air conditioning units can be properly balanced by observing the discharge
from grilles or registers and adjusting until satisfactory. Smoke candles are recommended for checking relatively small air capacity
units such as exhaust fans.
Detecting Leaks
Highly visible smoke readily blends with air and gases, simplifying
the observation of airflow patterns or quickly pinpointing leaks. It
does not support combustion or leave a visible residue. Leaks visible without smoke can instantly be seen after smoke is added. The
odor of escaping smoke also assists in pinpointing leaks. The
tedious and time consuming soaping of piping systems and duct
work for leaks can be eliminated by inducing sufficient smoke to fill
an area approximately twice as large as the area being tested.

Burns for approximately thirty seconds and generates 4000 cubic
feet of smoke. Size: 1-1/2" x 1-1/2".
