1. Remove original equipment steering stabilizer from the Passenger side mount and the tie rod.

2. Locate the new driver side stabilizer bracket. Align top hole and hold in place with clamp as
shown in Photo 1. Mark as shown with ½” transfer punch and drill hole using a ½” drill bit as
shown in Photo 2 & 3. Repeat on passenger side.

3. On drivers side secure with supplied ½” & 7/16” hardware .The supplied 7/16” bolt / flag nut is
used as shown in Photo 4. Repeat for Passenger side as shown in Photo 5 and secure with
supplied 7/16” hardware for the stock mounting location and ½” for the lower drilled hole.

Locate and install the new center bracket as shown in Photo 6 using the supplied ½” bolt /
hardware through the stock stabilizer mounting location and 3/8” u-bolts on 02-07 models . If the
factory hole is not present in the tie rod the 1/2” bolt will not be used. Make sure bracket is
5. Tighten all brackets / hardware.
6. Install the stabilizer cylinders using the supplied ½”
hardware as shown in Finished Assembly picture below.
7. IMPORTANT NOTE: You must adjust the collar on
the driver side to allow for clearance of the stabilizer
cylinder. Loosen one clamp at a time on the collar
and turn up out of the way. When the vehicle is
aligned is very important that this step is followed
each and every time. See Photo 7.
8. Turn wheels fully to the right and left making sure that
no interference occurs and that wheel stops are contacted. Re-check all nuts for proper tightness before releasing installation.
9. Periodically inspect for tightness.

On some later 2011-2012 models the steering stabilizer cylinders may need to be mounted on the bottom of the
driver and passenger end bracketsm to ensure clearance between the tie rod end and the cylinders.
