This guide is intended as a “best effort” setup. The steps detailed in this guide have been tested and working on Android version 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich), using the built in wireless utility. Due to the nature of wireless networking, additional wireless drivers and/or troubleshooting may be needed, but this would have to be evaluated on a case-by-case basis and is to be understood by client and support personnel that all work is done as “best effort”. Android Mun Wireless Configuration Requirements: An Android device supporting 802.1x authentication. Your wireless account, and SSID (network name) which can be generated online at https://www.mun.ca/cc/services/network/wireless/dattool.php Configuration 1. Go to “Apps”. 2. Tap “Settings” then tap “W-Fi”. 3. A list of each of the available networks, fac, stu, guest, eduroam & MunSetup should be listed. To continue, tap on the network to which you were assigned. 4. In the boxes labelled “Identity” and “Password” enter your username and password then tap “Connect”. 5. After a few seconds you should be connected.
