product to provide you with
many hours of Audio / Video
Entertainment.
This "HDMI/DVI Setup Guide"
has been included to get you
up and running in the least
amount of time as possible.
However, if you still have
questions about this product,
please contact our customer
service center.
Action
HDMI/DVI output shows a
distorted image on the left of
your TV screen.
Make sure that no DVD is playing in your DVD player
by pressing the stop button. Press the MENU button
on your remote control. Within the Display Setup/HDMI
Menu, select either Mode A or Mode B to set up the
DVI output; you should choose the mode which
provides a distortion free image.
The HDMI/DVI output provides
a poor resolution or no
resolution at all.
Make sure that DVD Player tray is empty, press the
fast forward button on the DVD Player, not on the
Remote control, for at least 5 seconds.
This action will reset the DVD Player to the default
mode, 576P HDMI Output.
There is no sound when you
connect the DVI to your TV.
HDMI-DVI cable only supports video output. For your
audio connection with the use of a HDMI-DVI cable, you
must connect left and right audio cables from your DVD
player to the DVI audio inputs on your TV.
If your TV is not compatible with compressed multi-channel
formats(Dolby Digital, DTS, MPEG), you should set Digital
Audio to PCM(See the user’s manual). If your TV is not
compatible with LPCM sampling rate over 48kHz, you
should set PCM Down sampling to On(See the user’s
manual). SACD audio is only avaliable through the
analog outputs.
There is no sound when you
connect the HDMI to your TV.
