Features & Benefits
Innovative Quiet Operation
To provide a comfortable, pleasant and well balanced environment, LG air conditioners utilize a
streamlined air fan and a unique design which create
smooth air flow from the air conditioner so that it
operates under the lowest noise level. The cross flow
fan, stabilizer, and rear guide which are the causes
of noise, have been redesigned by hydraulic engineering. The number of revolutions have been
decreased or increased while the amount of friction
has been decreased providing the most quiet air conditioners in the world.
CHAOS Swing
The most pleasant air flow for the human body can
be found within nature. Countless data and verification resulted in the application of the new CHAOS
theory to LG Air conditioners.

Down Speed :Fast
Wind-up effect is controlled by vane angle and speed
to evenly distribute nature-like air throughout the
room. This function analyzes the characteristic of air
flow distribution and creates the pleasant feeling of
natural wind.

Jet Cooling function is for quick cooling. In this mode,
strong and cool air is blown at high speeds for 30

Self Diagnosis Function:
- This function provides diagnosis of the unit. Blinking of the operation LED of the indoor unit means there is
some error.
Cooling & Fan Operation(Cooling Only):
- LG multi split air conditioners can provide cooling & fan operation. In the cooling mode, it cools the air with an
operation range of 18~30°C. In the fan operation mode, only indoor fan at the selected speed will run, outdoor
fan and compressor will be off.

1. Select the best location
1.1 Indoor Unit
Install the air conditioner in the location that satisfies the following conditions.
Wall Mounted Type
• There should not be any heat source or steam near
the unit.
• There should not be any obstacles to prevent the air
circulation.
• A place where air circulation in the room will be
good.

1.2. Outdoor Unit
• If an awning is built over the unit to prevent direct sunlight or rain exposure, make sure that heat radiation from
the condenser is not restricted.
• Ensure that the space around the back is more than 20~30cm and sides is more than 20~30cm. The front of
the unit should have more than 70cm of space.
• Do not place animals and plants in the path of the warm air.
• Take the air conditioner weight into account and select a place where noise and vibration are minimum.
• Select a place so that the warm air and noise from the air conditioner do not disturb neighbors.
• Rooftop Installations : If the outdoor unit is installed on a roof structure, be sure to level the unit. Ensure the
roof structure and anchoring method are adequate for the unit location. Consult local codes regarding rooftop
mounting.

2. Settlement of outdoor unit
• Anchor the outdoor unit with a bolt and nut(ø10mm) tightly and horizontally on a concrete or rigid mount.
• While installing on the wall, roof or rooftop, anchor the
mounting base securely with a nail or wire assuming the
influence of wind and earthquake.

4. Drain Pipe Work
❑ Drain pipe gradient and support
1) - The drain pipe must be fitted at a gradient of at least 1/100.
- The drain pipe should be as short as possible and free from airlocks.
