INSTALLING THE FRIDGE/FREEZER

Allow an adequate space and install the fridge/freezer on a firm, level floor.

• If the appliance is not level, there may be unusual noises and poor cooling.

• Wait for at least one hour before plugging the appliance in.

Clean the fridge/freezer.

• Wipe and clean the appliance inside and outside with a damp cloth.

Plug the fridge/freezer into a wall socket used exclusively by this appliance.

• This appliance must be properly grounded.

Place the food in the fridge/freezer.

• It is recommended that you wait for the appliance to cool for 2-3 hours before storing food in it.

LEVELLING

If the front of the appliance is slightly higher than the rear, the door can be closed more easily.

The appliance tilts down to the left.

Turn the left adjusting leg in the direction of the arrow with a flat head screwdriver until the appliance is level.

The appliance tilts down to the right.

Turn the right adjusting leg in the direction of the arrow with a flat head screwdriver until the appliance is level.

Allow sufficient space to the right, left, back and top for air circulation.

Please ensure that appliance can be moved freely in the event of maintenance & service.

Drawers can be easily opened with this condition.

PREPARING THE FRIDGE/FREEZER

To prepare your appliance for use and to check that it is running correctly, take the following steps.

Install all shelves and compartments removed during transport in the correct positions.

Clean the fridge/freezer and accessories to remove any dust that accumulated during packing and shipping.

The interior light of the appliance will light up when fridge door is open.

Set the temperature control to the coldest temperature and let the refrigerator operate for one hour.

The freezer should get slightly chilled and the motor should run smoothly with soft hum.

Your fridge/freezer is operated by a compressor which switches “Operation” to maintain the internal temperature. For the first five minutes after initial start-up, it may be slightly noisy. This is quite normal and does not represent a fault.

Store food once the temperature in the refrigerator is sufficiently low. It takes a few hours after starting the refrigerator to reach the proper temperature.

If the appliance does not operate correctly, check the electricity supply. If the problem persists, contact your dealer.

USING THE CONTROL FEATURES

When all lights are on, the temperature is at its coldest.

Vacation Button

• If you are going on a long vacation or business trip or you do not need to use the refrigerator, press the Vacation button.

• The refrigerator is switched off but the freezer remains on.

• The Vacation indicator ( ➂ ) remains on while the Vacation function is operating.

Caution

- You must empty the refrigerator before pressing the Vacation button ( ➂ ).

- There is no need to disconnect the refrigerator from the power supply if you will be away for less than three weeks. But remove all the food if you are going away for three weeks or more, unplug the refrigerator and clean, rinse and dry it.

Super Freeze Button

• Switch for the fast freeze function on or off.

• Use when you wish to freeze foods quickly.

• The Super Freeze indicator ( the Super Freeze indicator (

• While this function is selected, the refrigerating device remains switched on continuously and produces a very low temperature inside the freezer.

Alarm will go off after a certain period of time when the refrigerator door is kept open.

• If you want to turn off the Alarm when it is set to Alarm On, press the button one more time to cancel the alarm.

Note

The freezer door does not have an alarm function to indicate that the door is open or closed.

Note

If the Super Freeze, Vacation mode is already selected and you press one of the other buttons, the current mode is cancelled and the mode corresponding to the button pressed is selected.

• Temperature setting range for refrigerator ➝ 7°C ~ 1°C

CoolSelect Zone : Temperature setting range

Soft freeze (-5°C), 0 zone (0°C), Cool (3°C),

Quick cool (60 minutes, continuous operation)

1. Cool, Zero Zone, Soft Freeze function

• When you select Cool, Zero Zone or Soft Freeze function, 3°C, 0°C and -5°C is selected.

• Set by the Select button with the Menu button.

2. Quick Cool

• Set by the Select button with the Menu button.

• When the Quick Cool function is completed, the CoolSelect Zone drawer comes to cool.

Option

• Vacation - Refrigerator off (Operate the freezer only)

• Super Freeze - Super freezing function (Continuous operation for 2 hours and 30 minutes)

• Alarm On - Alarm ON/OFF control function when door is open

STORING FOOD IN THE FRIDGE OR FREEZER

When storing food in the appliance, follow the recommendations below.

• Allow warm food and beverages to cool down before storing them in the appliance.

• Ensure that food is well-wrapped or covered with airtight containers before it is stored.

This will prevent food from dehydrating, deteriorating in colour or losing flavor and will help maintain freshness. It will also prevent cross-flavouring.

• Never let any oil or grease come into contact with the plastic fittings or door seals, as these materials easily become porous.

• Never store any explosive substances inside the appliance. High-proof alcohol should only be stored upright in tightly sealed containers.

A. Fridge

Transparent, safety glass shelf (Only available on some models)

• Place food in storage containers and lay the items out at suitable intervals.

• The storage shelf is of an unbreakable, transparent material, so that you can use it safely.

Fresh safe drawer (Only available on some models)

• Vegetable and fruit can be stored in this compartment.

• If you require more space to store fruit and vegetables, it is possible to remove the drawers.

• A declared storage volume of fresh food storage compartment is calculated when the fresh safe drawers are removed.

Only available on some models

CoolSelect Zone Drawer

• Help to preserve the taste of food and prolong its freshness. Use this to store cheese, meat, poultry fish or any other foods.

Chiller Compartment

• Ideal for storing fish, meat and sausage.

• Temperature in this compartment are lower than in the refrigerator compartment.

Temperatures below 0 °C may also occur.

• A declared storage volume of fresh food compartment is calculated with Chiller

Compartment removed.

Note

Not suitable for lettuce, vegetables or produce sensitive to cold.

Dairy and Variety guard

• Store fatty foods, like butter and cheese.

• Store small, packed foods, like milk, yogurt and beverages.

Bottle guard

• Store small bottles and cartons (1 litre) of beer, milk, juice in the upper part and large bottles and cartons (1.5 litres) in the lower part.

STORING FOOD IN THE REFRIGERATOR OR FREEZER

B. Freezer

Top freezer drawer

• Store packed frozen foods, like ice cream, bacon and pizza.

• Place the ice tray in this drawer in order to achieve optimal ice freezing.

Middle/lower freezer drawer

• Store fresh meat and fish or dried foods, which are divided into suitably sized portions.

• Do not store food which goes bad easily at low temerature, such as bananas, melons.

• Do not put any newly introduced food for freezing near to frozen food.

• Do not place carbonated or fizzy drinks in the freezer compartment.

Note

• Your appliance is frost free, which means there is no need to manually defrost your appliance, as this will be carried out automatically.

• Temperature rising during the defrost can comply with ISO requirement, But if you want to prevent on undue rise in the temperature of the frozen food while defrosting the appliance. Please wrap the frozen food in several layers of newspaper.

• The appliance may not operate consistently (possibility of defrosting the contents or the temperature becoming too warm in the frozen food compartment) when sited for an extended period of time below the cold end of the range of temperatures for which the refrigerating appliance is designed.

• To get more space, you can remove drawers as following picture. It does not affect thermal and mechanical characteristics. A declared storage volume of frozen food storage compartment is calculated with these drawers removed.

• To get the best energy efficiency of this product, please leave all selves, drawers and baskets on their original position like as illustration in page (19.)

• For freezing test, remove 1 drawer.

MAKING ICE

Pour water into the ice cube maker.

• Fill the ice maker up to about 80% with water.

Place the ice cube maker in the top freezer drawer.

To take out the ice cubes:

• Twist the ice cube maker slightly.

Warning

Danger of explosion

• The coldest parts of the refrigerator is the rear panel. This is the best place to store delicate foodstuffs.

• Glass bottles containing liquids that can freeze should never be stored in the freezer as the glass can explode when the contents freeze.

Note

Making ice quickly

To make a large quantity of ice quickly, press the “Super Freeze” button to select the fast freeze function.

USING THE WATER DISPENSER (Only available on some models)

With the water dispenser, you can obtain chilled water easily without opening the refrigerator door. In addition, you can save electricity by more than 30% reducing the number of times the door is open.

WHEN THE WATER DISPENSER IS NOT USED, THE FOLLOWINGS ARE RECOMMENDED

Fix the water supply device tightly into the fixing hole.

• The door will not be closed automatically when the water supply device is pulled out for a long time because of cold leaking.

Place a separate spare beverage bottle in the location of the exclusive water tank.

• Two 1.5 litre bottles can be placed.

FILLING THE WATER TANK

Open the round cap and fill the water tank up with drinking water.

• Don't fill up the water tank too much(just over 4.2 litres).

It can cause overflow when the door is opening and closing.

Close the round cap by pushing down on it until it clicks into proper place.

USING THE WATER DISPENSER (Only available on some models)

INSTALLING A REGULAR BOTTLE

Press the fixing lever, lift the exclusive water tank upwards, then remove it.

WHEN THE WATER DISPENSER IS NOT USED, THE FOLLOWINGS ARE RECOMMENDED

FILLING THE WATER TANK

Remove the water supply device from the exclusive water tank, then set the inner groove of the water supply device in a regular mineral water bottle and fix‑it in position by turning it.

Turn the water supply device over, then fix‑it in position in the fixing hole.

Note

• Gurgling sounds may be heard when air enters the water bottle from regular mineral water or beverage bottles.

• Some regular mineral water or beverage bottles may not fit the water supply device, depending on their size.

• If water does not come out satisfactorily when you press the “push” lever, press it again.

• Do not use carbonated drinks, such as coke, cider or sodas. When you press the button, the beverage may spurt out due to the pressure of carbonic gas accumulated in the upper part of beverage bottle.

• For better hygiene, beverages with a high sugar content (juice, soft drinks) are not

recommended.

• You can use bottled mineral water or boiled tap water unless it does contain any particles.

CLEANING THE WATER DISPENSER

Dispenser Tray

Pull out the tray with fingers.

Empty the water in the dispenser tray, then clean it using warm water and detergent.

Connection path

Wipe out the connection path and surrounding area with a clean damp cloth.

CLEANING THE WATER DISPENSER

Water Tank / Supply Device

Pull upward and disassemble the hooks on both sides of the large‑sized cap.

Loosen the water supply device by turning it in the direction of the arrow and removing it.

Wipe the large‑sized cap and the exclusive water tank with warm water and detergent.

• Hold the cap and pull it upwards to remove it.

Clean the cap.

After cleaning the water supply device with a soft brush, press the water supply device operation lever, then wash it in running water.

Caution

• Clean the water tank frequently if it used to dispense tea or other such beverages.

Only use filtered tea. For better hygiene, beverages with a high sugar content (juice, soft drinks) are not recommended.

• Deposits can be cleaned by wiping the tank with a cloth dampened in vinegar or salt water.

• Check that the rubber seal on the water supply device has not slipped off or is not damaged by-a sharp-edged object. Otherwise, it may leak.

Note

REPLACING THE INTERIOR LIGHT

Please contact service engineer to replace it.

REMOVING THE INTERIOR PARTS

Drawers

Press the locking device on the rear left and right side of the drawer cover and pull the drawer cover to remove it.

REVERSING THE DOOR SWING

‑ Read these instructions completely and carefully

Warning

• Before reversing the door, ensure first that the refrigerator is disconnect by the plug from the mains. You should take out contents and accessories like door guard from the doors. Be careful not to drop the doors during dissembling or assembling.

1. Handle parts carefully to avoid scratching the paint.

2. Lay out all the screws by their related parts to avoid using them in the wrong places.

3. Provide a non-scratching work surface for the doors. (ex:blanket)

4. During door reversing, refrigerator should not be stained with oil.

5. We recommend to use tools descrided below. (Possible to use simliar size of socket wrench & wrench)

‑ DISASSEMBLY OF THE FRIDGE DOOR

These operating instructions cover various models.

The characteristics of your appliance may differ slightly from those described in this instructions.

1. Disassemble the CAP CABI after removing 2 screws.

2. Disconnect electric wires inside of the CAP CABI.

3. Remove 3 bolts on the top of the refrigerator with 10mm socket wrench. Make sure the door is firmly closed.

4. Disassemble the Fridge door by lifting it upward.

Be careful not to drop and scratch the face of the

5. Disassemble the COVER

WIRE DOOR on the top of the fridge door with a flathead screw driver by putting it into the indicated position(∆).

6. Disjoin the COVER WIRE

7. Switch the direction of the electric wire as below. Take out the COVER WIRE HINGE

L from the underneath the

CAP CABI and rejoin it with the electric wire.

8. With 11mm wrench, separate the HINGE

SHAFT and then flip the

HINGE and reattach the

HINGE SHAFT.

9-1. After rejoining the COVER

WIRE HINGE L and the ASSY HINGE UPP,

Switch the position of the

GROMMET HINGE and the

CAP SPACE DOOR.

Be careful not to drop and scratch the Freezer door.

‑ REVERSING THE HANDLE BAR [FRIDGE/FREEZER]

15. Detach the CAP SCREW

HANDLE with flat screwdriver and disassemble the HANDLE BARs.


CAP HOLE DOORs, pulling out and pushing them in.

17. Reattach the HANDLE

BARs on the other side of doors in reverse order.

18. Exchange the positions of a bolt and the assy HINGE LOW after making a hole with phillips head driver on the left bottom side of the unit.

19. After switching the position of the CAP HOLE HINGE

LOW, reassemble the

COVER LEG FRONT.

23. Carefully put the Freezer door back on and assemble HINGE

MID with 2 bolts and a screw.

25. Secure the ASSY HINGE UPP with 3 bolts as shown.

Make sure the Fridge Door is firmly closed.

27. Reconnect the electric wires and reposition the wires inside of the

CAP CABI as shown below.

28. Reassemble the CAP

29. Detach the Fridge and Freezer gaskets and attach them after rotating 180˚. (Make sure the door gaskets are properly arranged. If not, there can be a noise or dew can be formed which affects perfomance of the unit.)

30. Make sure the doors are working properly.

PROBLEMS AND SOLUTIONS

The appliance is not operating at all or the temperature is too high

• Check that the power plug is correctly connected.

• Is the temperature control on the front panel correctly set?

• Does sun shine on the appliance or are there heat sources nearby?

• Is the back of the appliance too near to the wall?

The food in the refrigerator is frozen

• Is the temperature control on the front panel set to the coldest temperature?

• Is the surrounding temperature too low?

• Did you put the hot food in the refrigerator?

There are unusual noises

• Check that the appliance is installed on a stable, level floor.

• Is the back of the appliance too near to the wall?

• Have any foreign objects fallen behind or under the appliance?

• Is there noise coming from the compressor in the appliance?

• A ticking sound may be heard inside the appliance; this is normal. This sound occurs when the various accessories contract or expand.

The front corners and sides of the appliance are warm and condensation starts to form

• Heat-proof pipes are installed in the front corners of the appliance to prevent condensation from forming.

When the surrounding temperature rises, this may not always be effective. However, this is not abnormal.

• In very humid weather, condensation may form on the outer surface of the appliance when the moisture in the air comes into contact with the cool surface of the appliance.

PROBLEMS AND SOLUTIONS

You can hear a liquid babbling in the appliance

• This is the refrigerant, which cools the inside of the appliance.

There is a bad smell inside the appliance

• You did not seal the food.

• Check food are covered and ensure the cold inlet is clean.

There is a layer of frost on the appliance’s walls

• Is the air outlet on the appliance plugged up?

• Space the food out as much as possible to improve ventilation.

• Is the door fully closed?

If condensation forms on the inside wall of the appliance and around vegetables

• Can occur if food with a high water content is stored uncovered with a high humidity level or the door has been left open for a-long time.

• Store the food with a cover or in sealed containers.

Tips Power Saving Tips

• Install the appliance in a cool, dry room with adequate ventilation.

Ensure that it is not exposed to direct sunlight and never put it near a direct source of heat (radiator, for example).

• Never block any vents or grilles on the appliance.

• Allow warm food to cool down before placing it in the appliance.

• Put frozen food in the refrigerator to thaw.

You can then use the low temperatures of the frozen products to cool food in the refrigerator.

• Do not keep the door of the appliance open for too long when putting food in or taking food out.

The shorter time for which the door is open, the less ice will form in the freezer.

Come refrigerante viene utilizzato l’R600a o l’ R134a. Per appurare quale refrigerante è utilizzato, controllare l’etichetta del compressore posta sul retro dell’elettrodomestico o l’ etichetta delle prestazioni di esercizio all’interno del frigorifero.

Questo elettrodomestico contiene una piccola quantità di refrigerante isobutano (R600a), un gas naturale ad elevata compatibilità ambientale, ma che è comunque combustibile. Durante il trasporto e l’installazione dell’ elettrodomestico, fare attenzione a non danneggiare alcuna parte del circuito di refrigerazione.

Qualora il refrigerante dovesse fuoriuscire con forza dai tubi, potrebbe incendiarsi o causare lesioni agli occhi. Se si nota una perdita, evitare fiamme libere o potenziali fonti di incendio e aerare per qualche minuto la stanza in cui si

trova l’elettrodomestico.

• Per evitare la formazione di una miscela infiammabile di gas e aria, qualora si dovesse verificare una perdita nel circuito di refrigerazione, le dimensioni della stanza in cui l’ elettrodomestico può essere posizionato dipendono dalla quantità di refrigerante utilizzato. La stanza deve avere dimensioni pari a 1m 3 per ogni 8g di refrigerante R600a utilizzato all’interno dell’elettrodomestico.

La quantità di refrigerante presente nell’ lettrodomestico è indica sulla targhetta di identificazione che si trova al suo interno.

• Non accendere mai l’elettrodomestico qualora esso

dovesse presentare tracce di danneggiamento.

In caso di dubbi, consultare il proprio rivenditore.

CORRETTO SMALTIMENTO DEL FRIGORIFERO

Prima di buttare via il vecchio frigorifero o congelatore

Prima di disfarsi di questo frigorifero (o di altri frigoriferi), rimuovere lo sportello, le guarnizioni e la maniglia, in modo da evitare che bambini e animali possano accidentalmente rimanere intrappolati al loro interno.

Lasciare al loro posto i ripiani, in modo che i bambini non possano entrare facilmente all’interno dell’elettrodomestico.

Qualora questo prodotto contenga gas infiammabili (refrigerante R600a), rivolgersi agli enti locali e richiederne lo smaltimento sicuro.

ATTENZIONE

Ciclopentano utilizzato come gas isolante.

gas presenti nel materiale isolante vanno smaltiti adottando un’apposita procedura. Il materiale di imballaggio di questo prodotto va smaltito rispettando l’ambiente. Rivolgersi agli enti locali per ottenere informazioni in merito allo smaltimento ecologico di questo prodotto.

COLLEGAMENTI ELETTRICI

AVVERTENZA

Il frigorifero dovrebbe essere sempre collegato a una presa elettrica singola con una tensione nominale corrispondente a quella riportata sulla targhetta delle prestazioni di esercizio.

Non inserire la spina del cavo di alimentazione con le mani bagnate.

Non ricongelare cibi congelati che sono stati completamente scongelati. Non mettere nel frigorifero prodotti farmaceutici, materiale scientifico o prodotti sensibili alla temperatura.

• I prodotti che richiedono rigidi controlli della temperatura non vanno conservati in frigorifero.

Non appoggiare recipienti pieni d’acqua sopra al frigorifero.

• Se l’acqua si rovescia su un qualsiasi componente elettrico, potrebbe verificarsi un incendio o si potrebbe ricevere una scossa elettrica.

Questo prodotto è destinato solo alla conservazione di cibi in ambienti domestici.

COLLEGAMENTO A TERRA

Il frigorifero va collegato a terra.

• È necessario collegare a terra il frigorifero, onde evitare eventuali perdite di energia elettrica o scosse elettriche.

Per la messa a terra, non utilizzare mai tubi di gas, linee telefoniche o altri cavi potenziali conduttori di energia elettrica.

• L’uso improprio della spina di messa a terra può causare scosse elettriche.

AVVERTENZA

• Assicurarsi che le fessure di ventilazione presenti nella struttura esterna e di sostegno non siano ostruite.

• Per accelerare la procedura di sbrinamento, non utilizzare dispositivi meccanici o di altro tipo, diversi da quelli consigliati dall’azienda produttrice.

• Non danneggiare il circuito di refrigerazione.

• Non utilizzare elettrodomestici elettrici all’ interno del frigorifero/congelatore, a meno che non siano del tipo consigliato dall’azienda produttrice.

Prima di accendere l’ elettrodomestico, leggere per intero questo manuale e conservarlo per riferimento futuro.

• Questa apparecchiatura non è adatta all’ uso, senza supervisione, da parte di persone

(bambini inclusi) che dispongono di ridotte capacità fisiche, sensoriali o mentali, oppure senza esperienza, conoscenza o che siano date loro istruzioni per l’ uso dell’apparecchiatura da una persona responsabile della loro sicurezza.

• Controllare che i bambini non giochino con questa apparecchiatura.

INSTALLAZIONE DEL FRIGORIFERO/CONGELATORE

Lasciare uno spazio adeguato e installare il frigorifero/congelatore su una superficie stabile e piana.

• Se l’elettrodomestico non è in piano, potrebbero manifestarsi rumori insoliti e uno scarso raffreddamento.

• Aspettare almeno un’ora prima di collegare l’elettrodomestico alla presa di alimentazione.

Pulire il frigorifero/congelatore.

• Pulire l’elettrodomestico internamente ed esternamente con un panno bagnato.

Collegare il frigorifero/congelatore a una presa a muro utilizzata esclusivamente per l’elettrodomestico.

• L’elettrodomestico va collegato a terra correttamente.

Mettere i cibi nel frigorifero/congelatore.

• Si consiglia di aspettare che l’elettrodomestico si raffreddi per 2-3 ore prima di metter dentro dei cibi.

LIVELLAMENTO

Se il lato anteriore dell’elettrodomestico è leggermente più alto di quello posteriore, lo sportello può essere aperto e chiuso più facilmente.

L’elettrodomestico si inclina verso sinistra.

Girare il piedino regolabile sinistro nella direzione della freccia con un cacciavite a testa piatta fino a quando

l’elettrodomestico non è in piano.

L’elettrodomestico si inclina verso destra.

Girare il piedino regolabile destro nella direzione della freccia con un cacciavite a testa piatta fino a quando

l’elettrodomestico non è in piano.

Prevedere uno spazio sufficiente a destra, sinistra, sul retro e sopra per la circolazione dell’aria.

Assicurarsi che l’unità possa essere spostata facilmente in caso di manutenzione e riparazione.

In questa condizione i cassetti possono essere facilmente aperti.

PREPARAZIONE DEL FRIGORIFERO/CONGELATORE

Per preparare l’elettrodomestico all’uso e controllare che funzioni correttamente, procedere come segue.

Installare nelle posizioni corrette tutti gli scaffali e gli scomparti rimossi durante il trasporto.

Pulire il frigorifero/congelatore e gli accessori per rimuovere l’eventuale polvere accumulatasi durante l’imballaggio e il trasporto.

Quando lo sportello è aperto, la luce interna dell’elettrodomestico si accende.

Impostare il controllo della temperatura sul valore minimo e lasciare in funzione il frigorifero per un’ora. Il congelatore dovrebbe raffreddarsi leggermente e il motore dovrebbe entrare in funzione gradualmente, con un piccolo ronzio.

Il frigorifero/congelatore è azionato da un compressore che “si accende e si spegne” per mantenere la temperatura interna. Quando il compressore è nuovo, va tenuto in funzione per un periodo di almeno cinque mesi. Durante questo periodo, potrebbe risultare leggermente rumoroso. Questo è normale e non

è indice di un guasto. Mettere cibi all’interno del frigorifero solo quando la temperatura è sufficientemente bassa. Dopo l’accensione, il frigorifero impiega qualche ora a raggiungere la temperatura ottimale.

Se l’elettrodomestico non funziona correttamente, controllare l’alimentazione elettrica. Se il problema persiste, rivolgersi al proprio rivenditore.

Vacanze

• Se si parte per una lunga vacanza o un viaggio di affari oppure non si ha bisogno di usare

il frigorifero, premere il pulsante Vacation.

• Il frigorifero si spegne, mentre il congelatore rimane acceso.

• La spia Vacation ( ➂ ) resta accesa mentre è in funzione la funzione Vacation.

Attenzione

• Prima di premere il pulsante Vacation è necessario svuotare il frigorifero ( ➂ ).

- Non è necessario scollegare il frigorifero dalla presa di corrente se si va via per meno

di tre settimane. Ma se si parte per tre settimane o più è opportuno rimuovere tutto il cibo, staccare il frigorifero e pulirlo, sciacquarlo e asciugarlo.

Pulsante Super Freeze

• Interruttore di attivazione e disattivazione della funzione di congelamento veloce.

• Utilizzarlo per congelare rapidamente i cibi.

• La spia Super Freeze ( ➃ ) resta accesa mentre è in esecuzione la funzione di congelamento rapido.

• Quando questa funzione è selezionata, il dispositivo di refrigerazione rimane attivo in

continuazione e genera una temperatura molto bassa all’interno del congelatore.

• La funzione di Super congelamento si disattiva automaticamente. Al termine del processo di congelamento rapido, la spia Super Freeze ( ➃ ) si spegne e il congelatore torna alla temperatura impostata in precedenza.

• Per attivare la funzione di Super congelamento, premere nuovamente il pulsante.

Nota

Se si deve congelare una quantità notevole di cibi, prima di attivare il pulsante Super

Freezer, impostare la temperatura dello scomparto congelatore sul valore minimo consentito.

Pulsante Alarm On

• Quando si preme il pulsante Alarm On, viene attivato e visualizzato ( ➄ ).

L'allarme viene attivato dopo un certo periodo di tempo, quando lo sportello del frigorifero

viene lasciato aperto.

• Se si desidera disattivare l’allarme quando esso è impostato su Alarm On, premere il pulsante

ancora una volta per annullarlo.

Nota

Lo sportello del congelatore non dispone di una funzione di allarme per indicare che lo sportello è aperto o chiuso.

Se la modalità Super Freeze o Vacation è già selezionata e si preme uno degli altri pulsanti, la modalità corrente viene annullata e viene selezionata la modalità corrispondente al pulsante premuto.

CONSERVAZIONE DEI CIBI NEL FRIGORIFERO O NEL CONGELATORE

Quando si conservano cibi nell’ elettrodomestico, seguire i consigli seguenti.

• Lasciare raffreddare i cibi e le bevande calde

prima di conservarli nell’elettrodomestico.

• Assicurarsi che i cibi siano ben incartati o coperti con contenitori sottovuoto, prima di conservarli.

In tal modo si eviterà che si disidratino, cambino colore o perdano il sapore e si favorirà il mantenimento della loro freschezza. Inoltre, si eviterà anche il mescolamento dei sapori.

• Non lasciare mai che olio o grasso entrino a contatto con le parti di plastica e i dispositivi di chiusura dello sportello, in quanto questi materiali diventano facilmente porosi.

• Non mettere mai sostanze esplosive all’interno dell’elettrodomestico. L’alcol va conservato solo in posizione verticale in contenitori ben sigillati.

Ripiano in vetro infrangibile trasparente (opzionale)

• Mettere i cibi in appositi contenitori e distribuirli uniformemente sulla superficie.

• Il ripiano è di materiale infrangibile trasparente e pertanto può essere utilizzato in tutta sicurezza.

Cassetti di insalata fresca (opzionale)

• Frutta e verdura possono essere conservate in questo scomparto.

• Se si ha bisogno di più spazio per conservare frutta e verdura, rimuovere i cassetti.

• Il volume di conservazione dichiarato dello scomparto cibi freschi è calcolato dopo aver rimosso i cassetti per l'insalata fresca.

• Aiuta a conservare il gusto dei cibi e ne prolunga la freschezza.

Utilizzarlo per conservare formaggio, carne, pollame, pesce o qualsiasi cibo.

Scomparto raffreddato

• In questo scomparto la temperatura è inferiore a quella dello scomparto frigorifero.

Si possono verificare anche temperature inferiori a 0°C.

• Il volume di conservazione dichiarato dello scomparto cibi freschi è calcolato dopo

aver rimosso lo scomparto raffreddato.

Non adatto per insalata, verdura o prodotti sensibili al freddo.

Balconcino per latticini e multiuso

• Conservare cibi grassi, come burro e formaggio.

• Conservare cibi di piccole dimensione e imballati, come latte, yogurt e bevande.

Balconcino per bottiglie

• Nella parte superiore, conservare le bottiglie e le confezioni di cartone piccole (da 1 litro) di birra, latte e succo di frutta, mentre in quella inferiore le bottiglie e le confezioni di cartone grandi (da 1,5 litri).

CONSERVAZIONE DEI CIBI NEL FRIGORIFERO O NEL CONGELATORE

B. Congelatore

Cassetto del congelatore superiore

• Conservare cibi congelati imballati, come gelati, pancetta e pizza.

• Posizionare il vassoio del ghiaccio in questo cassetto per ottenere un congelamento ottimale del ghiaccio.

Cassetto del congelatore centrale/inferiore

• Conservare carne e pesce freschi oppure cibi secchi, suddivisi in porzioni di dimensioni appropriate.

• Non conservare cibi facilmente deperibili a basse temperature, come banane e meloni.

• Non collocare i nuovi alimenti da congelare accanto ai cibi congelati.

• Non collocare bevande addizionate di anidride carbonica o gassate nello scomparto congelatore.

Nota

• L’elettrodomestico non produce brina, il che significa che non è necessario sbrinarlo manualmente, in quanto questa operazione avviene automaticamente.

• L’aumento di temperatura che si verifica durante lo sbrinamento è conforme ai requisiti ISO.

Tuttavia, se si desidera evitare un aumento indesiderato della temperatura dei cibi congelati durante lo sbrinamento dell’elettrodomestico, incartare i cibi congelati in vari strati di carta di giornale.

• L’elettrodomestico potrebbe non funzionare in modo omogeneo (possibilità di sbrinamento del contenuto o temperatura che aumenta eccessivamente nello scomparto cibi congelati) quando viene lasciato impostato per un lungo periodo di tempo al di sotto della temperatura minima prevista per il corretto funzionamento dell’elettrodomestico.

• Per aumentare lo spazio, è possibile rimuovere i cassetti come illustrato di seguito, senza influire sulle

1 caratteristiche termiche o meccaniche. Il volume di contenimento dichiarato dei cibi congelati è infatti calcolato senza i cassetti.

• Per la migliore efficienza energetica del prodotto, si consiglia di lasciare i ripiani, i cassetti e i contenitori nella posizione originale come illustrato a pagina (19.)

• Per il test di congelamento, estrarre 1 cassetto.

PRODUZIONE DEL GHIACCIO

Versare acqua nel dispositivo di produzione di cubetti di ghiaccio.

• Riempire d’acqua la vaschetta fino a circa l’ 80%.

Collocare il dispositivo di produzione di cubetti di ghiaccio nel cassetto superiore del congelatore.

Avvertenza

Nota

Per estrarre i cubetti di ghiaccio:

• Torcere leggermente la vaschette per cubetti di ghiaccio.

Pericolo di esplosione

• Le parti più fredde del frigorifero sono il pannello posteriore e il ripiano più basso.

Questi sono i posti migliori per conservare i cibi delicati.

• Le bottiglie di vetro contenenti liquidi soggetti a congelamento non vanno mai conservate nel congelatore, in quanto il vetro si romperebbe in seguito al congelamento del contenuto.

Produzione veloce del ghiaccio

Per produrre velocemente una grande quantità di ghiaccio, premere il pulsante “Super

Freeze” per selezionare la funzione di congelamento veloce.

USO DELL’EROGATORE DI ACQUA (OPZIONALE)

Grazie all’erogatore di acqua è possibile ottenere facilmente acqua fresca senza dover aprire lo sportello del frigorifero. Inoltre, è possibile risparmiare elettricità riducendo di oltre il 30% il numero di volte che lo sportello viene aperto.

QUANDO L’EROGATORE D'ACQUA NON È UTILIZZATO, ATTENERSI AI SEGUENTI SUGGERIMENTI

Fissare saldamente il dispositivo di erogazione dell’acqua nel foro di fissaggio.

• Se il dispositivo di erogazione viene rimosso per lungo tempo, o non è stato inserito correttamente, si potrebbero verificare infiltrazioni d'aria calda nel vano frigo attraverso lo sportello.

Al posto della tanica o di una normale bottiglia di acqua minerale è possibile inserirvi un balconcino di piccole dimensioni.

RIEMPIMENTO DEL SERBATOIO DELL’ACQUA

Aprire il serbatoio dell’acqua rimuovendo il tappo rotondo e riempirlo con acqua potabile.

• Riempire il serbatoio fino al livello massimo (poco più di 4,2 litri).

Rimontare il tappo rotondo premendolo fino a quando non scatta al proprio posto.

INSTALLAZIONE DI UNA BOTTIGLIA NORMALE

Premere la levetta di fissaggio, sollevare il serbatoio dell’acqua esclusivo e rimuoverlo.

Rimuovere il dispositivo di erogazione dell’acqua dal serbatoio dell’acqua esclusivo, quindi collocare la scanalatura interna del dispositivo di erogazione dell’ acqua in una normale bottiglia d’acqua minerale e posizionarlo‑facendolo girare.

Capovolgere il dispositivo di erogazione dell’ acqua, quindi posizionarlo‑ nel foro di fissaggio.

Nota

• Quando nelle bottiglie di acqua minerale o delle bevande entra aria, è possibile che si sentano dei gorgoglii.

• A seconda delle loro dimensioni, alcune bottiglie di acqua minerale o per bevande potrebbero non entrare nel dispositivo di erogazione dell’acqua.

• Se l’acqua non esce in modo soddisfacente quando si preme il pulsante “push”, premerlo di nuovo.

• Non usare bevande addizionate d’anidride carbonica, come cola, sidro o bevande gassate.

Quando si preme il pulsante, la bevanda potrebbe fuoriuscire a spruzzo, a causa della pressione del gas di anidride carbonica accumulato nella parte superiore della bottiglia della bevanda.

• Per una maggiore igiene, le bevande con un elevato contenuto di zucchero (succo di frutta, bevande analcoliche) sono sconsigliate.

• Utilizzare acqua minerale in bottiglia o acqua corrente bollita che non contenga alcuna particella.

PULIZIA DELL’EROGATORE DI ACQUA

Vassoio dell’erogatore

Servendosi della maniglia del vassoio dell’erogatore, rimuovere il vassoio.

Svuotare l’acqua nel vassoio dell’erogatore, quindi pulirlo con acqua calda e un detergente.

Pulire il percorso di collegamento e l’area circostante con un panno bagnato pulito.

PULIZIA DELL’EROGATORE DI ACQUA

Tirare verso l’alto e staccare i ganci a entrambi i lati del tappo grande.

Allentare il dispositivo di erogazione dell’acqua girandolo nella direzione della freccia e rimuoverlo.

Pulire il tappo grande e il serbatoio dell’acqua esclusivo con acqua calda e un detergente.

• Afferrare il tappo e tirare verso l’alto per rimuoverlo.

Pulire con una spazzola morbida il tappo e il filtro dei

residui collegato al tappo.

Dopo aver pulito il dispositivo di erogazione dell’ acqua con una spazzola morbida, premere la leva di aziona‑mento del dispositivo di erogazione dell’acqua, quindi lavarla in acqua corrente.

ATTENZIONE

• Pulire spesso il serbatoio dell’acqua qualora esso venga utilizzato per servire tè o altre bevande simili. Usare solo tè filtrato. Per una maggiore igiene, le bevande con un elevato contenuto di zucchero (succo di frutta, bevande analcoliche) sono sconsigliate.

• I residui possono essere rimossi pulendo il serbatoio con un panno inumidito in aceto o acqua salata.

• Controllare che la guarnizione di gomma del dispositivo di erogazione dell’acqua non sia fuoriuscita e non sia stata danneggiata da-oggetti appuntiti. In caso contrario, potrebbe perdere.

Avvertenza

• Prima di invertire lo sportello scollegare l’elettrodomestico dalla rete elettrica, quindi estrarre il contenuto e gli accessori, come i balconcini dello sportello. Durante le operazioni di smontaggio e montaggio, fare attenzione a non lasciar cadere a terra lo sportello.

1. Maneggiare con cura i componenti, per evitare di graffiare la vernice.

2. Disporre le viti nell'ordine, per evitare di usarle nei punti sbagliati.

3. Prevedere una superficie di lavoro non graffiante per lo sportello. (es: una coperta)

4. Durante l’inversione dello sportello, evitare di sporcare d’olio il frigorifero.

‑ SMONTAGGIO DELLA PORTA DEL FRIGORIFERO

Le presenti istruzioni per l’uso trattano vari modelli. Le caratteristiche dell’ elettrodomestico a propria disposizione possono variare leggermente da quelle descritte nel presente manuale.

1. Smontare il cappuccio dopo aver rimosso le 2 viti.

2. Scollegare i cavi elettrici all’interno dell’armadietto.

3. Rimuovere 3 bulloni dalla parte superiore del frigorifero con la chiave a tubo da 10 mm. Accertarsi che la porta sia saldamente chiusa.

4. Smontare la porta del frigorifero facendola scorrere verso l’alto.

Prestare attenzione a non far cadere e graffiare la parte anteriore della porta del frigorifero.

5. Smontare il coprifilo della porta sulla parte superiore della porta del frigorifero con un giravite a testa piatta mettendolo nella posizione indicata (∆).

6. Scollegare la COVER WIRE

HINGE destra dalla cerniera superiore del gruppo come mostrato. Estrarre il cavo elettrico dalla copricerniera di destra.

15. Staccare la vite della maniglia con un cacciavite a testa piatta e smontare le maniglie.

16. Scambiare la posizione dei cappucci delle porte, estraendoli e rimettendoli.

17. Riattaccare le maniglie dall’altra parte delle porte in ordine inverso.

18. Scambiare le posizioni di un bullone e della cerniera inferiore gruppo dopo aver praticato un foro con il cacciavite a croce la parte inferiore sinistra dell’elettrodomestico.

19. Dopo aver cambiato la posizione della cerniera inferiore cappuccio, rimontare il copripiedino anteriore.

20. Scambiare la posizione della cerniera cappuccio centrale e di una vite.

21. Scambiare la posizione del fermo porta e della cerniera anello di tenuta come mostrato.

22. Scambiare la posizione della cerniera anello di tenuta e del cappuccio cerniera.

23. Riposizionare, prestando attenzione, la porta del congelatore e montare la cerniera centrale con due bulloni e una vite.

29. Scollegare i giunti del frigorifero e del congelatore e collegarli dopo una rotazione di 180°. (assicurarsi che i giunti della porta siano inseriti correttamente). In caso contrario, si potrebbe avvertire un rumore in grado di influire sulle prestazioni del dispositivo.

30. Verificare che le porte funzionino correttamente.

PROBLEMI E SOLUZIONI

• Nel frigorifero sono stati riposti cibi con un elevato contenuto di acqua?

Si sentono rumori insoliti

• Controllare che l’elettrodomestico sia installato su un pavimento stabile e piano.

• La parte posteriore dell’elettrodomestico è troppo vicina al muro?

• Degli oggetti sono caduti dietro o sotto l’elettrodomestico?

• Il rumore proviene dal compressore nell’elettrodomestico?

• All’interno dell’elettrodomestico si sente un ticchettio, ma questo è normale. Questo rumore viene emesso quando i vari accessori si contraggono o si espandono.

Gli angoli anteriori e i lati dell’elettrodomestico sono caldi e inizia a formarsi condensa

• Negli angoli anteriori dell’elettrodomestico sono installati dei tubi a prova di calore per evitare il formarsi di condensa. Quando la temperatura ambiente aumenta, questo sistema potrebbe risultare poco efficace.

Tuttavia, non si tratta di una condizione anomala.

• Con condizioni atmosferiche molto umide, sulla superficie esterna dell’elettrodomestico potrebbe formarsi condensa quando l’umidità presente nell’aria entra a contatto con la superficie fredda dell’ elettrodomestico.

• Si tratta del refrigerante, che si raffredda all’interno dell’elettrodomestico.

All’interno dell’elettrodomestico si forma cattivo odore

• I cibi non sono stati incartati.

• Installare l’elettrodomestico una stanza fredda e asciutta con una ventilazione adeguata.

Assicurarsi che non sia esposto alla luce solare diretta e non collocarlo mai vicino a una fonte di calore diretta (radiatore, ad esempio).

• Non bloccare mai le aperture di sfogo o le griglie presenti sull’elettrodomestico.

• Prima di mettere cibi caldi all’interno dell’elettrodomestico, lasciarli raffreddare.

• Mettere a scongelare nel frigorifero i cibi congelati.

Dopodiché, sarà possibile utilizzare le basse temperature dei prodotti congelati per raffreddare i cibi nel frigorifero.

• Non tenere aperto lo sportello troppo a lungo quando si ripongono o tolgono cibi.

Minore è il tempo durante il quale lo sportello resta aperto, meno ghiaccio si formerà nel congelatore.
