The Night Shot function lets you shoot sul2iects in the dark places without using the fl ash.
Set NIGHTSHOT switch to ON.
_To shoot using the finder
With the FINDER/LCD button, you can choose to shoot either using the finder or the LCD screen. When you use the findel_ the image does not appear on the LCD screen. At[just the finder adjustment dial to your eyesight so that the image appears clearly within the finder, then shoot the image.

• You are using the "Memory Stick Duo" with the write-protect switch, and the switch is set to the LOCK position. Set the switch to the recording position.

• Set the mode dial to _ when shooting movies.
• The image size is set to [640(Fine)] when recording movies. Do one of the following:
Set the image size to other than [640(Fine)].

• The lens cap is attached. Remove it.
Cannot insert dates on images.
• This camera does not ha_c a feature for superimposing dates on images. By using Picture
Motion Browser", you can print or saxe images with the date.
Vertical streaks appear when you are shooting a very bright subject.
• The smear phenomenon is occurring and white, black, red, purple, or other streaks appear on the image.
