There are different types of cored wire processes for the
same metal to be deposited.

So-called "seamless" tubular wires can limit the moisture absorption and improve the conductivity of the arc. Tubular wires are mostly
made of copper.

STAPLE WIRES
So-called "strip" or "staple" wire allows a higher deposit rate and
lower cost relative to tubular wire. However, it is more susceptible to

hardfacing. High chromium cast iron for
hardfacing components subject to extremely severe abrasive wear and moderate
