INTRODUCTION
2.1
General
The pilot and the laser lamp are used for SAW welding with manual joint tracking.
The lamp is mounted in a holder that is fitted to the automatic welding machine. The
holder is provided with a flexible attachment so that the lamp can be adjusted in the
desired position in front of the weld point.
Both lamps can be ordered as complete build--in sets, containing all components
necessary for the installation.
Pilot lamp
The pilot lamp is built up round a light--bulb, focusing the light in a system of lenses
located in front of the lamp.
Laser lamp
The laser lamp contains a low--power laser diode (class II) emitting red light at a
wavelength of 670 nm. The light point is intensive and visible also in broad daylight.
The laser lamp can be fitted with cables of different lengths.
