Zelo Slimline
Ultra thin and light weight
Zelo are exceptionally thin panels of glazed porcelain (only 5mm) and so they are lighter in weight than thicker tiles. This means they can be used to tile over previously tiled surfaces (providing these are sound). They are easy to cut, and as they are large format (800 x 400mm), a room can be quickly and completely transformed. Ink jet printing used in their production also results in smooth and even colour coverage, and they have a very subtle glimmer effect which can be seen in certain lights.

We do not recommend the use of large format ceramic or porcelain tiles in a 50:50 brickbond pattern installation. The reason for this is that slight curvature in the tile may become noticeable and may not be deemed to be visually acceptable.

External use
All our porcelain tiles have passed the ISO 10545-12 frost resistance test, making them suitable for external use. We recommend that only tiles with PTVW slip resistance results of 36+ are used in external situations. Original Style Ltd cannot be held liable for cracking that can occur due to adverse weather conditions or poor installation.
Usage extérieur
Tous nos carreaux en porcelaine ont passé le test ISO 10545-12 de résistance au gel et conviennent donc à un usage extérieur. NOMINAL DIMENSIONS
We quote nominal dimensions throughout this brochure which are subject to slight variation within internationally accepted standards.
SHADE VARIATION
Shade variation is an inherent feature of Tileworks porcelain and ceramic tiles.
We recommend that tiles are loosely laid out and ‘blended’ prior to fixing to achieve the most pleasing distribution of shades. Differences between batches can be more marked, for this reason we recommend that you buy all the tiles at one time. No liability for shading issues can be accepted after installation.
ADHESIVES, GROUTS AND SEALING
Always use high quality adhesives and grouts following manufacturers’ recommendations for their use and suitability for the type of tile, the application and the substrate being tiled. As with any polished surface, polished porcelain is susceptible to staining if it is not protected with an appropriate sealer such as LTP
MPG Sealer. We recommend that all of our polished porcelains are treated with an appropriate product. Always follow the manufacturer’s instructions.
Dream Beige CS523-4040, CS523-6030, CS523-6060, page 80: Some batches of this polished porcelain may have been treated with a nano coating after manufacture, which means they do not need to be sealed. Please refer to our Fixing Guide at www.originalstyle.com/fixing-html for full details of how to test for the nano coating and subsequent sealing procedure.
Zelo Slimline CS802-8040, CS803-8040, CS804-8040, CS805-8040, page
86: Although they have a thickness of only 5mm, Zelo Slimline tiles conform to the standards for impact resistance tests: BS EN ISO 10545-5: Average Coefficient of Restitution 0.85 (impact resistance with no damage caused through test). The application of the tiles must be a solid bed method with no voids behind the tiles and all expansion joints must be followed and uncoupling systems set in place if required.

Claims must be reported within seven working days from receipt of the tiles. Tiles must be inspected prior to installation and claims cannot be considered after the tiles have been installed. Please be advised that installation constitutes acceptance of the quality, size, colour, texture and shade of the tiles. Original Style warrants that its tiles conform to their description and are fit for their purpose.

It is imperative to follow sealer, grout and adhesive manufacturers’ instructions regarding their suitability with our products. If in doubt please consult the sealant/grout/adhesive stockist from whom you purchased the products.

NUANCES DE TEINTE

Comme toute surface polie, la porcelaine risque de se tacher si elle n’est pas protégée avec un produit imperméabilisant adapté. Nous recommandons de traiter toutes les porcelaines polies avec un produit adapté en suivant toujours les instructions du fabricant.

VARIATIONEN DES FARBTONS
Bedingt durch den Herstellungsprozess entstehen geringfügige
Farbvariationen. Wir empfehlen, die Fliesen vor dem Verkleben lose zu verlegen und dann zu “mischen”, um die angenehmste Verteilung der
Farbtöne zu erreichen. Unterschiede zwischen mehreren Chargen können ausgeprägter sein, daher empfehlen wir Ihnen, alle Fliesen auf einmal zu kaufen. Nach der Verlegung der Fliesen kann keinerlei Haftung für Probleme mit dem Farbton mehr übernommen werden.
KLEBER & FUGENMÖRTEL
Verwenden Sie immer qualitativ hochwertige Kleber und Fugenmörtel und befolgen Sie die Herstelleranweisungen in Bezug auf deren Verwendung und
Eignung für die Fliesenart, die Anwendung und den zu fliesenden Untergrund.
VERSIEGELUNG
Wie bei jeder polierten Oberfläche ist auch poliertes Porzellan anfällig für
Fleckenbildung, wenn es nicht mit einer geeigneten Versiegelung geschützt wird.
Wir empfehlen, dass alle unsere polierten Porzellanfliesen mit einem geeigneten
Produkt behandelt werden. Folgen Sie immer den Anweisungen des Herstellers.
NOMINALE AFMETINGEN
Tegelafmetingen kunnen enigszins afwijken van de nominale afmetingen binnen internationaal geaccepteerde standaarden.
KLEURNUANCES
Uiteenlopende kleurnuances zijn een inherente eigenschap van porseleinen en keramische tegels van Tileworks. Voordat u gaat tegelzetten bevelen wij u aan om alle bestelde tegels eerst te mixen, waardoor er prachtige kleurschakeringen ontstaan. Wij raden u aan alle benodigde tegels in 1 keer te bestellen, omdat er verschillen kunnen zijn tussen de serie tegels onderling. Als de tegels eenmaal zijn gezet, kunnen wij niet aansprakelijk worden gehouden voor mogelijke ontevredenheid over de nuanceverschillen.
LIJMEN EN VOEGMIDDELEN
Gebruik altijd lijm en voegmiddel van hoge kwaliteit en volg de richtlijnen van de producenten op inzake gebruik en geschiktheid voor het type tegel, het aanbrengen en de ondergrond die wordt betegeld.
IMPREGNEREN
Net als voor alle andere gepolijste oppervlakken het geval is, kan gepolijst porselein vlekken gaan vertonen als het niet is behandeld met een hiervoor bestemd impregneermiddel. We raden aan dat al onze gepolijste porseleinen tegels worden behandeld met een hiervoor bestemd product. Volg altijd de aanwijzingen van de producent op.
