SPEED/TEMPERATURE MONITORS 91
The Programmable Digital Stroboscope/Tachometer has a microprocessor design for both speed and
motion analysis of gears, fans, pumps, motors, and similar equipment. The intelligent
microprocessor design provides special functions such as: stop motion function at 2:1, 3:1, 4:1 for
harmonics, coarse and fine adjustments via keypad, and phase shift (phase delay) adjustment to offset
the strobes. Flashing signal is displayed in degrees and milliseconds for advanced motion analysis.

PROGRAMMABLE DIGITAL STROBOSCOPE/TACHOMETER
Temperature Monitors
Temperature has a direct
relationship to curing speed:
the higher the temperature,
the faster the cure. Yet,
excessive heat may cause the
substrate to distort, which
can result in registration
difficulties or substrate
damage. Heat may also cause
UV cure system components
to
fail.
Therefore,
understanding temperature is
critical to ensuring proper
cure and to safeguarding the
substrate and system from
potential failure.

CURING CONTROLS
TEMPIL TEMPERATURE INDICATOR STICKS
CON-TROL-CURE® Tempil Indicator Sticks are ideal for working below 700°F on relatively rough
surfaces where prolonged heating is not required. Indicator Sticks are suitable for determining surface
temperatures during preheat, annealing and stress relieving processes. Use them by marking the
workpiece before heating begins. The blunt-tip crayon's dry, opaque mark will change to a distinct
melted mark when the temperature rating of the selected Temperature Indicator Stick is reached.
Available in temperature ratings with melting points of 109, 119, 125, 131, 144, 150, 163, 175, 188,
and 200°F. Other temperature ratings with melting points from 100-2500°F can be special ordered,
minimum 10.
