The DVRs are identical except for the number of cameras and alarms that can be connected and the number of cameras that can be displayed. Each model allows you to view up to 16 live camera feeds and features a variety of recording capabilities. You can log in using the admin account, selecting admin and then OK without entering a password. You can also create a new user account with a password. To log out, bring up the Live menu and click the Log out icon.

While in PTZ mode, select the PRESET SET button on the remote control to display the Set Preset window and assign the current position as a preset. You can also use the mouse to control PTZ cameras. Left-click on the mouse and drag to move the camera in the desired direction and use the mouse wheel to zoom in/out.

Video recording will only take place if all the connections are made correctly as per information contained in Part 2 of this operation manual. For more information on video recording settings, refer to the Record Setup on page 34.

You can play back recordings by going to the Search menu, selecting the channel you want to playback, and then selecting a date and time range. You can also use the Play/Pause, Rewind, Fast Forward, and Stop buttons to control playback.

You can search for events by going to the Search menu and using the Event Log Search, Record Table Search, Motion Search, Text-In Search, or Overlapped Recording Search functions.
