How to change the hydraulic fluid on the SPV21 and SPV40 log splitter?

Ensure the machine mast is fully retracted. Place a container (approx. 5L capacity) under the oil drain plug on the back of the machine. Remove the plug and drain all oil. Clean and reinsert the plug with a washer. Remove the oil filler plug and fill the tank with approximately 3 liters of the correct oil (tank capacity is about 4.2 liters). Run the log splitter, operating the mast for one-third of its travel. Fully lower the wedge and add the remaining oil. Run two complete cycles to bleed air. Check the oil level using the dipstick. Clean and replace the filler plug. Use specified oil types (e.g., SHELL TELLUS T22, ARAL VITAM GF22). Do not mix used oil with general waste.
