The RhB Ge 6/6 I Nr. 401 - 415 is a 12-volt DC electric locomotive for two-rail current collection. It is powered by a five-pole motor with flywheel and current is collected by all wheels. This model can be regauged to suit H0e track. The model is fitted with headlights which automatically change with the direction of travel. The locomotive is fitted with a standard type coupling, but can be fitted with central buffers or a short coupling.

To change the bulbs, take off the body and release the bulb covers and bulb assembly from below by removing the two screws. Unsolder the defective bulb(s) and replace and resolder with new ones, ref.: 5133 000.

To lubricate the model, remove the four screws from the chassis which secure the body and lift off the superstructure. Then, apply a drop of model train oil to the motor shaft bearings, and Molykote grease diluted with model train oil to the worm gear and axle bearings.

To convert the locomotive to overhead wire operation, remove the body and move the changeover switch with the help of a small screwdriver to the opposite position “0”. Check for firm contact; also check connection between the superstructure body and roof.

Yes, the model is prepared to accept a digital decoder connection, according to the NEM specifications 651. To fit a digital decoder, remove the additional weight and remove the perforated section of the printed circuit plate. The decoder can be soldered to the six conductor lines or plugged into the six pole socket. (Selektrix N-gauge)
