The heat can damage the surface of the device, as well as have a negative effect on
the cooling power and increase the consumption of energy.
Use the unit at ambient temperatures up to 32 °C; in spaces where temperatures are
higher the efficiency of the unit may be reduced.
To avoid damage to the compressor, do not tilt the device to an angle greater than 45°
during setup or transport. Be careful when touching the condenser and doors, as
damage to them will negatively impact the working of the device.
If the unit has been improperly transported (in vertical or horizontal position), wait a
minimum of 4 hours prior to activating the unit.
Place the device in such a manner that there is a minimum of 10 cm between it and

Tips for the user
CAUTION!
The refrigerator-flash freezer can not be used as a normal refrigerator!
CAUTION!
Do not place food products in the unit which have a temperature above 70°C, as
the high pressure alarm may be activated.
•
For best results, we recommend pre-cooling of the unit by leaving it turned on until the
conservation temperature is reached.
•
To avoid damaging the unit, proceed in accordance with the following
recommendations:
Do not place warm food products inside the unit;
Activate the appropriate cycle immediately after placing a food product into
the unit;
Avoid covering or closing containers (this includes isolation foil), as quickest
and best results are achieved with the largest possible surface area;
- 45 -
Do not overfill the unit (cooling: 16 kg, freezing: 12 kg);
Leave an appropriate amount of space between containers in order to ensure
the best possible circulation;
Never place hot containers directly on the bottom of the unit – they should rest
on special grates.
CAUTION!
Regularly monitor the condensation container and empty it as necessary.
Properties of food products for rapid cooling / freezing
It should be remembered that cycles begin at an average temperature of +70°C (cooling
cycle from +70°C to +3°C; freezing cycle from +70°C to –18°C), therefore it is important to
proceed in accordance with the following instructions:
•
•
- 46 -
food products which are to be cooled or frozen can not be stored for long periods
at room temperature; as more moisture is lost, it is less likely the product will be
conserved appropriately.
place products at a temperature of +70°C into the refrigerator-flash freezer.
6. Cleaning and maintenance
6.1 Safety advice
o Before beginning with repair or cleaning works make sure the device has been
disconnected from power socket (pull the power plug!!!) and has cooled down.
o Do not use any acid agents and make sure no water ingresses the device.
o To protect yourself from electric shock, never immerse the device, its cables and the
plug in water or other liquids.
CAUTION!
The device is not suited for direct washing via water jets. Therefore, you must not
use any kind of pressure water jet for cleaning the device!
6.2 Cleaning
o
To insure maximum quality and proper hygienic condition of cooled food products,
the unit should be cleaned daily.
o
To wash the unit, use warm water and a mild cleaning agent.
o
Rinse the unit with clean water and dry thoroughly.
o
Use only soft cloth, never use scouring pads which may scratch the unit.

Never use harsh or abrasive objects nor solvents or thinners.
o
The condenser must be kept clean by removing dust and dirt, so that air circulation
is not reduced. To reach the condenser, remove the plate at the rear of the unit.
When doing so, take care to not damage any cables.
Use a vacuum cleaner to clean the condenser. Never use sharp and/or scraping
objects.
After cleaning the condenser, replace the plate and turn the screws completely.
6.3 Safety instructions for maintenance
o Check the mains connection cable for damage from time to time. Never operate the
device when the cable is damaged. A damaged cable must immediately be replaced
by customer service or a qualified electrician to avoid dangers.
o In case of damage or malfunction, please contact your stockist or our customer
