The gear is pre-lubricated at the factory, but after a long period of operation, you will need to grease the motor shaft bearings, worm gears, and axle bearings using special model train oil and Molykote gearbox grease.

You need to remove the body, remove the plastic part of the cabin imitation from below, unsolder the defective bulb(s) and replace and resolder with new ones, ref.: 5133 000 or change the complete light print ref: 1261 028 370.

You can install a digital decoder by removing the perforated section of the printed circuit plate and soldering to the six conductor lines or plugging into the six pole socket. (Selektrix N-gauge, spare part available BEMO ref. 0700 000 200)
