Remove the insulation strip.

The luggage scale is now ready to use.
3.1 Benutzung der Kofferwaage
• Drücken Sie die Taste.
• HI erscheint kurz im Display.
• Wenn 0.0 im Display erscheint, können Sie mit dem Wiegevorgang beginnen.
• Öffnen Sie den Verschluss der Kofferwaage. Legen Sie den Gurt um den Tragegriff des Koffers.
• Achten Sie darauf, dass der Gurt wieder richtig geschlossen ist.
• Fassen Sie den Griff der Kofferwaage und heben Sie den Koffer an.
• Der Wiegevorgang ist abgeschlossen, sobald HOLD im Display erscheint und ein kurzer Signalton
ertönt.
• Sie können nun den Koffer abstellen und das Gewicht bequem im Display ablesen.
• Um die Waage auszuschalten, halten Sie die Taste gedrückt.
• Bei Nichtbenutzung schaltet sich die Waage automatisch nach ca. 60 Sekunden aus.
3.1 Use of the luggage scale
• Press the button.
• HI appears briefly on the display.
• An soon as 0.0 appears on the display you can start to weight.
• Open the strap of the luggage scale. Simply attach the strap to the handle of your suitcase.
• Make sure that the belt is closed correctly.
• Take the holder of the scale and lift the luggage.
• The weight measuring is finished, as soon as HOLD appears on the display and a short beep will
sound.
• Set the luggage back down and read the weight.
• To turn off the scale, press and hold the button.
• When the scale is not used, it will automatically switch off after approx. 60 seconds.
3.2 Einstellung der Gewichtseinheit
• Sie können zwischen „KG” für Kilogramm und „LB” für das britische und amerikanische Pfund
(1 pound = 453,59237 Gramm) wählen.
• Drücken Sie die Taste.
• HI erscheint kurz im Display.
• Drücken Sie die Taste noch einmal, solange HI angezeigt wird, können Sie die Maßeinheit wechseln.
3.2 Setting of the weight unit
• You can select between “KG” for Kilogram, “LB” for British and American pound (1 pound =
453,59237 Gramm).

Batteriewechsel
Ziehen Sie das Batteriefach seitlich heraus.
Legen Sie die Batterie polrichtig ein, Pluspol nach unten.
Schieben Sie das Batteriefach wieder zurück.
Schwache Batterien sollten möglichst schnell ausgetauscht werden, um ein Auslaufen der Batterien
zu vermeiden. Batterien enthalten gesundheitsschädliche Säuren. Beim Hantieren mit ausgelaufenen Batterien beschichtete Handschuhe und Schutzbrille tragen!
Achtung:
Bitte entsorgen Sie Altgeräte und leere Batterien nicht über den Hausmüll. Geben Sie diese bitte
zur umweltgerechten Entsorgung beim Handel oder entsprechenden Sammelstellen gemäß nationaler oder lokaler Bestimmungen ab.

Battery replacement
Pull out the battery compartment sideways.
Insert the battery observing the correct polarity, plus pole downward.
Push the battery compartment back into its housing.
Low batteries should be changed soon to avoid the damage resulting from a leaking battery.
Batteries contain harmful acids. Wear protective glasses and gloves when handling with leaked
batteries.
Attention:
Please do not dispose of old electronic devices and empty batteries in household waste. To protect
the environment, take them to your retail store or to appropriate collection sites according to
national or local regulations.

Enlever la bande d´interruption de la pile.

3.1 Utilisation de la balance valise
• Presser la touche.
• HI apparaît brièvement à l’écran.
• Si 0.0 apparaît sur le display, on peut commencer l'opération de pesage.
• Ouvrir le fermoir de la balance valise. Passer la sangle sur la poignée du valise.
• Faire attention que la sangle soit de nouveau bien enclenchée.
• Soulever la valise avec la poignée de la balance.
• Dès que HOLD apparaît sur le display, l'opération de pesage est terminée et un signal sonore se fait
entendre.
• On peut maintenant reposer la valise sur le sol et on peut alors confortablement lire le poids sur
l'écran.
• Arrêter la balance en appuyant sur la touche.
• Quand on n’utilise pas l’balance, il s’arrête de lui-même après environ 60 secondes.
3.2 Réglage d'unité de mesure
• On peut choisir entre «KG» pour kilogramme, «LB» pour la livre anglaise ou américaine (1 pound =
453,59237 grammes).
• Presser la touche.
• HI apparaît brièvement à l’écran.
• Presser de nouveau la touche, tant que l'affichage HI est visible on peut sélectionner l'unité de
mesure.
3.3 Messages d’erreur
• «OUT2» : Surcharge (max. 50 kg / 110 lb)
• «LO»: Echanger la batterie

Remplacement de la batterie
Sortir le logement de batterie latéralement.
Insérer la batterie, polarité +/- comme illustrée, +pole vers le bas.
Poussez le couvercle du logement de batterie dans le boîtier.
Les batteries faibles doivent être changées le plus rapidement possible, afin d'éviter une fuite des
batteries. Les batteries contiennent des acides nocifs pour la santé. Pour manipuler des batteries qui
ont coulé, utiliser des gants spécialement adaptés et porter des lunettes de protection !
Attention: Les vieux appareils électroniques et piles usagées ne doivent pas être jetés dans les détritus ménagers. Veuillez les rendre dans un site approprié de récupération pour les enlever sous des
conditions de milieu ou chez votre revendeur selon les spécifications nationales et locales.

Entretien
Conserver votre appareil dans un endroit sec.
Evitez d’exposer l’appareil à des températures extrêmes, vibrations ou chocs.
Pour le nettoyage, utilisez un chiffon doux humide. N’utilisez pas de dissolvants ou d’agents abrasifs!
Veuillez échanger la batterie si l’appareil ne fonctionne pas bien.

• L'appareil n'est pas un jouet. Maintenir l'appareil hors de portée des enfants.
• Attention: On peut utiliser la balance valise uniquement lorsque le fermoir de la sangle est bien
enclenché. Danger de blessure!
• Cet appareil n'est adapté pas pour des besoins médicaux ou pour l'information publique, il doit servir uniquement à un usage privé.
• Veuillez échanger la batterie si l’appareil ne fonctionne pas bien.
• Ce mode d'emploi ou des extraits de celui-ci peuvent être publiés exclusivement avec l'approbation
du TFA Dostmann.
• Toute utilisation non conforme ou l'ouverture non autorisée de l'appareil provoque la perte de la
garantie.

Uso
Togliere la striscia d´interruzione dalla batteria.
Viene emesso un breve segnale acustico.
La bilancia è pronta per l'uso.
3.1 Utilizzo della bilancia pesa-valigia
• Premere il tasto.
• Sul display appare HI brevemente.
• Sul display compare 0.0. La bilancia è pronta per l'uso.
• Aprire la chiusura della bilancia pesa-valigia. Posizionare la cinghia attorno alla maniglia di trasporto della valigia.
• Fare attenzione a richiudere correttamente la cinghia.
• Sollevare la valigia con l’impugnatura della bilancia.
• Appena sul display appare HOLD, l'operazione di pesatura è terminata e viene emesso un breve
segnale acustico.
• Ora è possibile porre di nuovo la valigia sul pavimento e da leggere comodamente nel display.
• Con il tasto è possibile disinserire la bilancia.
• In caso di mancato utilizzo, l'bilancia si disinserisce dopo circa 60 secondi.
3.2 Impostazione dell'unità di peso
• È possibile selezionare tra “KG” per chilogrammo, ”LB” per la libbra inglese o americana (1 libbra =
453,59237 grammi).
• Premere il tasto.
• Sul display appare HI brevemente.
• Premere una volta il pulsante finché è visualizzato HI; a questo punto è possibile cambiare l'unità di
misura.
3.3 Messaggi di errore
• “OUT2“: Sovraccarico (mass. 50 kg / 110 lb)
• “LO”: Sostituire la batteria

Sostituzione della batteria
Estrarre il vano batteria a lato.
Mettere la batteria osservando la corretta polarità, polo + verso il basso.
Far di nuovo rientrare il vano batterie nel corpo della bilancia.
Sostituire le batterie quasi scariche al più presto possibile, allo scopo di evitare che si scarichino
completamente. Le batterie contengono acidi nocivi per la salute. Quando si maneggiano batterie
esaurite indossare occhiali di protezione e guanti rivestiti.
Attenzione: Le batterie scariche e apparecchi elettrici fuori uso non devono essere smaltite insieme
all'immondizia domestica, bensì dovranno essere riconsegnate al negoziante o ad altri enti preposti
per il riciclo in conformità alle vigenti disposizioni nazionali o locali.

Manutenzione
Collocare l'apparecchio in luogo asciutto.
Evitare di posizionare gli apparecchi in zone soggette a temperatura estrema, a vibrazioni e a urti.
Quando si pulisce l'apparecchio, usare solo un panno soffice inumidito con acqua. Non usare solventi o abrasivi.
• Cambiare la batteria se l'apparecchio non funziona perfettamente.
6. Uso secondo le norme, esclusione di responsabilità, avviso di sicurezza
• L'apparecchio non è un gioco. Tenere lontano dalla portata dei bambini.
• Attenzione: Utilizzare la bilancia pesa-valigia solo se la chiusura della cinghia è correttamente
inserita in posizione. Pericolo di lesioni!
• Questo apparecchio non è adatto a scopi medici né per informazioni al pubblico: è destinato esclusivamente ad un utilizzo privato.
• Le specifiche di questo prodotto possono cambiare senza preavviso.
• È vietata la pubblicazione delle presenti istruzioni o di parti di esse senza una precedente autorizzazione della TFA Dostmann.
• Un uso improprio oppure l'apertura non autorizzata della custodia dello stesso comporta la perdita

3.1 De kofferweegschaal gebruiken
• Druk op de toets.
• HI verschijnt even op het display.
• 0.0 verschijnt op het display. De weegschaal is nu bedrijfsgereed.
• Open de sluiting van de kofferweegschaal. Leg de riem rond het handvat van de koffer.
• Let er op de riem weer zorgvuldig te sluiten.
• Pak de greep van de kofferwegschaal en hef de koffer op.
• U hoort een kort signaal en met de HOLD functie slaat u het gemeten gewicht op zodat.
• U kan de koffer nu terug neerzetten en u het gemakkelijk van het display kan aflezen.
• Als u de toets ingedrukt houdt en de weegschaal gaat uit.
• De weegschaal schakelt zich na 60 seconden uit als het niet wordt gebruikt.
3.2 Handmatig instellen van de gewichtseenheid
• U kan tussen “KG” voor kilogram, “LB” voor het Britse en Amerikaanse pond (1 pond = 453,59237
gram).
• Druk op de toets.
• Verschijnt HI even op het display.
• Druk nog eens op de knop zo lang HI verschijnt om de meeteenheid te veranderen.

Batterijwissel
Trek het batterijvak zijdelings open.
Plaats die batterij +/- pool zoals afgebeeld, +pol naar beneden.
Schuif het batterijvak terug in de behuizing.
Zwakke batterijen moeten zo snel mogelijk worden vervangen om het lekken van de batterijen te
voorkomen. Batterijen bevatten zuren die de gezondheid schaden. Draag beklede handschoenen
en een beschermbril wanneer u met uitgelopen batterijen hanteert!
Opgelet:
Batterijen en technische apparaten mogen niet met het huisvuil worden weggegooid. Breng ze
naar de inzamelplaatsen of bij uw detaillist naar de daarvoor bestemde containers volgens de
nationale of lokale bepalingen..

Instandhouding
Houd uw het apparaat op een droge plaats.
Stel het apparaat niet aan extreme temperaturen, trillingen en schokken bloot.
Maak het apparaat met een zachte, enigszins vochtige doek schoon. Geen schuur- of oplosmiddelen
gebruiken!
• Functioneert het apparaat niet correct, vervang de batterij.
6. Geschikt gebruik, garantiebeperkingen, veiligheid
• Het apparaat is geen speelgoed. Bewaar het buiten de reikwijdte van kinderen.
• Opgelet: Gebruik de kofferweegschaal pas wanneer de sluiting van de riem goed ingeklikt is.
Gevaar van letsel!
• Het apparaat is niet geschikt voor medische doeleinden of voor openbare informatie, maar bestemd
voor particulier gebruik.
• De technische gegevens van dit apparaat kunnen zonder voorafgaande informatie worden gewijzigd.
• Deze gebruiksaanwijzing of gedeelten eruit mogen alleen met toestemming van TFA Dostmann
worden gepubliceerd.
• Onvakkundige behandeling of niet geautoriseerd openen van het apparaat heft het verlies van de
garantie tot gevolg.

Quite la tira de interrupción de la pila.
Se emite una señal acústica corta.

3.1 Uso de la balanza para equipajes
• Pulse la tecla.
• HI aparece brevemente en la pantalla.
• 0.0 aparece en el display. La balanza está lista para funcionar.
• Abra el cierre de la balanza para equipajes y coloque la correa alrededor del asa de transporte de la
maleta.
• Asegúrese de volver a cerrar la correa debidamente.
• Levante la maleta con la asa de la balanza.
• Cuando HOLD aparece en el display, habrá finalizado el proceso de medición y se emite una señal
acústica corta.
• Coloque la maleta sobre el suelo y que puede leer cómodamente en la pantalla.
• Si mantiene pulsada la tecla de encendido para desactivar la balanza.
• La balanza se desconecta automáticamente tras 60 segundos si no está siendo utilizado.
3.2 Ajuste de la unidad de peso
• La unidad de peso puede ser seleccionada en “KG”, abreviación de kilogramo, en “LB”, abreviación
de libra inglesa y americana (1 libra = 453,59237 gramos).
• Pulse la tecla.
• HI aparece brevemente en la pantalla.
• Vuelva a pulsar el botón; si desea cambiar la unidad de medida puede hacerlo mientras esté siendo
indicado “HI”.
3.3 Mensajes de error
• “OUT2”: Sobrecarga (máx. 50 kg / 110 lb)
• “LO”: Cambie la pila

Cambio de la pila
Extraiga el compartimento para la pila lateralmente.
Inserte la pila, +/- con la polaridad tal como viene representada, polo+ hacia abajo.
Vuelva a introducir el compartimento de la pila en la carcasa.
Las pilas bajas deben cambiarse lo antes posible, para evitar fugas. Las pilas contienen ácidos nocivos para la salud. Utilice guantes recubiertos y gafas protectoras si manipula pilas con fugas de
líquido!
Atención: No tire el aparato ni las pilas usadas a la basura doméstica. Por favor deposítelas en el
comercio especializado o bien en los centros de recogida y reciclaje previstos para ello según el
reglamento nacional o local.

Mantenimiento
Almacene el aparato en un lugar seco.
No exponga el aparato a temperaturas, vibraciones y sacudidas extremas.
Limpie el aparato con un trapo suave, ligeramente humectado. ¡No utilizar ningún medio abrasivo
o disolvente!
• Si el aparato no funciona correctamente, cambie la pila.

• Este aparato no es un juguete. Consérvelo fuera del alcance de los niños.
• Atención: ¡Utilice la balanza para equipajes exclusivamente una vez que haya encajado el cierre de
la correa, ya que de lo contrario existe riesgo de lesión!
• Este aparato no es indicado para fines médicos ni para información pública, sino que está destinado
para uso privado.
• Las especificaciones de este producto pueden variar sin previo aviso.
• Estas instrucciones o resúmenes de las mismas no pueden ser publicados sin la autorización de la
