1
Das Gerät ist nicht geeignet, um von Menschen (auch Kinder), die durch physische,
sensorische oder mentale Schwäche beeinträchtigt sind, sowie von Personen mit einem
Mangel an Erfahrung oder Wissen verwendet zu werden, sofern sie nicht durch eine
verantwortliche Person auf die Sicherheitsrisiken hingewiesen und in den fachgerechten
Umgang mit dem Gerät eingewiesen wurden. Kinder müssen beaufsichtigt werden, um zu
vermeiden, das sie mit dem Gerät spielen. Wenn das Stromkabel beschädigt ist, lassen Sie
es vom Hersteller oder von ihm beauftragten technischen Kundendienst oder von einem
autorisierten Fachbetrieb ersetzten, um jegliches Risiko zu vermeiden.
1. Einleitung
Herzlichen Glückwunsch zum Erwerb einer Disan Zentralstaubsauganlage aus der Modellreihe Matrix. Es handelt sich hierbei um ein Verbindung aus Technologie, Bedienkomfort und
Wohlbefinden.
Matrix steht für kompaktes, ansprechendes Design und Leistung auf höchstem Niveau.
2. Öffnen der Verpackung
Sobald das Zentralstaubsauggerät an seinem Installationsstandort eintrifft, kann das Gerät aus
der Verpackung genommen werden.
Achten Sie dabei auf folgende Hinweise:
Das verpackte Gerät, mit der Aufschrift “HIER
ÖFFNEN“ nach oben, auf den Boden legen. Das
Klebeband vorsichtig aufschneiden
Die Verpackung öffnen, das
Interne Kartonzwischenteil
entfernen und die Anlage auf den
Rücken, zusammen mit dem

Nylonbeutel, auf den Boden stellen.
Alle Zubehörteile aus der Verpackung nehmen und die Kartonagen fachgerecht
entsorgen.

2.1 Kontrolle der Bestandteile
Alle Bestandteile der Anlage, die sich im Lieferumfang des Modells Matrix befinden sollen aus
der Verpackung genommen werden:

Jedes Gerät, welches unsere Produktionsstätte verlässt, wird auf Verarbeitungsqualität und
einwandfreie Funktion geprüft.

5. Montage
- ACHTUNG DIE MONTAGE MUSS VOM
FACHMANN VORGENOMMEN WERDEN
5.1 Montageort
Die Installation der Zentralstaubsauganlage setzt das Vorhandensein des Rohrleitungsnetzes
voraus, das vom Fachmann geplant und verlegt wurde.
Auf Grund der Konstruktionsweise, der Schutzklasse IP55 und des geringen Geräuschpegels
können die Geräte aus der Baureihe Matrix sowohl im Wohnungsinneren als auch im Freien
installiert werden.
Es ist ein Platzbedarf mit folgenden Mindestmaßen erforderlich
(BxH): 70 x 60 cm
5.2 Änderung des Saugrohranschlusses von Rechts auf Links
Üblicherweise werden die Zentralstaubsauganlagen mit dem Ansaugstutzen auf der rechten
Seite montiert (Version DX). Bei Bedarf kann die Zentrale aber so verändert werden, daß sich
der Anschlußstutzen auf der linken Seite befindet. (Version SX).
Um die Änderung vorzunehmen ist folgender Schritt zu befolgen:

Abziehen der Frontabdeckung
2.
Schrauben entfernen und Ansaugstutzen abnehmen.
3.
Gegenüber dem Ansaugstutzen befindet sich ein Blindstopfen. Bei diesem die Schrauben
lösen und abnehmen.

4.
Ansaugstutzen und Blindstopfen nun auf der entgegengesetzten Seite befestigen.
Wichtig: auf den korrekten Sitz der Dichtungen achten.

5.3 Montage der Zentrale
Im Lieferumfang enthalten ist eine Montageschablone, diese vereinfacht die Montage um
ein Vielfaches:
Für die Befestigung des Zentralstaubsauggeräts verwenden Sie die mitgelieferte Montageplatte.
1.Die Schablone wird an der für die
Montage vorgesehenen Stelle an die
Wand geheftet.
Als Referenzpunkt können die Abmessungen für Zu – und Abluft genommen
werden.
2. Bohrlöcher durch Montageschablone an der Wand markieren.
3. Löcher bohren
4. Montageplatte an der Wand fixieren.
5. Zentralstaubsauger in die Montageplatte einhängen.

5.4 Verbindung mit dem Rohrnetz

Matrix mittels Muffe am Rohrnetz anschließen.

5.5 Verbindung mit dem Stromnetz
Bevor das Zentralstaubsauggerät an das Stromnetz
angeschlossen wird, ist zu überprüfen, ob die Spannung (V) vor Ort dem Zentralstaubsauggerät entspricht.( siehe Typenschild )
Der Hersteller übernimmt für Sach- oder Personenschäden, die
durch ein nicht fachgerecht installiertes Stromnetz entstehen können, keine Haftung.

Für die Durchführung dieses Vorgangs folgende Schritte beachten. (siehe Skizze)

6. Benutzung der Anlage
Die Bauweise des Sauggerätes gewährleistet eine maximale Lärmreduzierung und eine effiziente Dämmung der Motor-Geräuschentwicklung. Bei Benuzung der Anlage sind folgende
Sicherheitsvorschriften zu befolgen.
t Beachten Sie, dass Kinder nicht unbeaufsichtigt Zugang zum Gerät haben.
t Führen Sie das während des Reinigungsvorganges in Verwendung befindliche Saugzubehör nicht an Augen oder Ohren heran, vermeiden Sie das Einführen von Fingern oder der
Hand.
t Der Hersteller lehnt jede Haftung für Schäden ab, die durch unsachgemäße Bedienung des
Gerätes und des Zubehörs bzw. durch zweckentfremdende Nutzung von Gerät und/oder
Zubehör entstehen.
6.1 Benutzung des Zubehörs
1) Befestigen Sie das für den jeweiligen Reinigungszweck geeignete Zubehörteil am vorderen Ende des Saugschlauches oder des Saugrohres.
2) Öffnen Sie den Deckel der Saugdose und führen Sie die Schlauchmuffe
des Saugschlauchs in die Dosenöffnung ein.
3a)Bei Saugdosen mit Mikroschaltern schaltet sich die Anlage bei
Öffnung der Saugdose ein.
3b)Bei Saugdosen mit Kontaktstiften schaltet die Anlage bei Einführung
der Schlauchmuffe mit Metallring oder bei Betätigung des Ein-/Ausschalter am Handgriff ein, sofern ein Saugschlauch verwendet wird, der mit
dem entsprechenden Schalter ausgestattet ist.
4) Sollte im Verhältnis zur durchzuführenden Reinigungsaufgabe zu viel
Saugkraft anliegen, kann diese durch Öffnung des Falschluftreglers am
Handgriff verringert werden.
5) Nach Durchführung der Reinigungstätigkeit, schalten Sie die Anlage
mittels Ein-/Ausschalter oder Entfernung des Saugschlauches aus der
Saugdosen-Öffnung aus und begleiten den Schließvorgang des Saugdosendeckels mit der Hand.
7. Instandhaltung
7.1 Sicherheitsbestimmungen
Sollten Sie einen Defekt der Anlage vermuten oder eine Fehlfunktion, kann auch nach Überprüfung der Anlagen (siehe Stöhrungssuche pkt. 8) nicht behoben werden, wenden Sie sich
umgehend an den autorisierten Kundendienst.
Jeglicher Eingriff darf nur bei vollständig still stehendem Motor und Unterbrechung der Stromversorgung erfolgen.
Disan empfiehlt eine eingehende Revision durch einen autorisierten Kundendienstbetrieb ca.
alle 4-5 Jahren.
7.2 Ordentliche Wartung
Vor Beginn von Wartungs- oder Reinigungsarbeiten ist sicherzustellen, das der Motor still steht
und die Stromversorgung unterbrochen ist. Achten Sie ausserdem darauf, das die Temperatur
am Gerät und den innenliegenden Bauteilen der Raumtemperatur entspricht.
Entleerung des Staubbehälters für die jeweiligen Modelle:
Modell Matrix PT:
1.
Abziehen der Frontabdeckung (1).
2.
Abziehen der vollen Filtertüte (2). Diese sorgfältig verschließen und entsorgen.
3.
Reinigen Sie den Motorschutzfilter (3) durch Schütteln und Abklopfen.
Die Reinigung des Motorschutzfilters kann auch durch Abspülen mit kaltem Wasser erfolgen.
WICHTIG: Vor dem Einsetzen des Motorschutzfilters muss Dieser vollständig getrocknet sein

Vor dem Einsetzen der neuen Papiertüte schütteln Sie Diese ein wenig auf, um die max.
Staubaufnahme zu Gewährleisten.
Achten Sie darauf, dass die Gummidichtung komplett über der Nut sitzt!
Schließen Sie die Frontabdeckung.

8. Störungssuche (Tab. S.13)
1.Saugkraftverlust. Wenn Sie den Eindruck haben, das die Saugkraft an den Saugdosen erheblich abgenommen hat, prüfen Sie bitte:
Die Füllmenge der Papiertüte ( siehe Pkt. Entleerung des Staubbehälters )
Und den Zustand des Hepa-Filters.
2.Verstopfung des Saugschlauches. Wenn Sie den Eindruck haben, das die Saugkraft der
Anlage erheblich nachgelassen hat, an der Saugdose jedoch unvermindert hoch ist, liegt
vermutlich eine Verstopfung im Saugschlauch vor.
Diese kann in den meisten Fällen durch ein rückwärtiges Saugen behoben werden.
3.Verstopfung in der Rohrleitung. Eine Verstopfung der Rohrleitung kann in vielen Fällen durch
ein rückwärtiges Saugen behoben werden. Sollte damit die Verstopfung nicht beseitigt werden können, so kontaktieren Sie den autorisierten Kundendienst.
4.Defekte oder ungenau sitzende Saugdosendichtung. Saugkraftverlust, in Verbindung mit
einem pfeifenden Geräusch an geschlossenen Saugdosen lässt darauf schließen, das die
Dichtung in der Saugdose defekt ist, oder ungenau sitzt. Dies kann durch den Austausch der
Dichtung behoben werden. Kontaktieren Sie hierzu den autorisierten Kundendienst.
5.Übertemperatur. Wenn der Motor aufgrund von Verstopfungen im Saugschlauch, in der
Rohrleitung, im Filter oder in der Abluftleitung überhitzt, so schaltet ein Thermoschalter den
Motor aus Sicherheitsgründen bei erreichen einer Temperatur von ca. 90° Celsius ab. Nach
einer Abkühlphase von ca. 80-10 Minuten kann das Gerät wieder in Betrieb genommen werden. Prüfen Sie, ob eine Verstopfung vorliegt und beheben Sie diese. Schaltet sich das Gerät
trotz dieser Maßnahme erneut ab, so kontaktieren Sie den autorisierten Kundendienst.
6.Auslösen der Sicherung. Die Sicherung im Gerät wird ausgelöst, das Gerät zu hoher Spannung (V) oder starken Spannungsschwankungen ausgesetzt wird, oder der Motor defekt ist.
7.Motor schaltet nicht ab. Schaltet sich das Gerät nach Beendigung des Saugvorganges
nicht aus, so handelt es sich vermutlich um einen Kurzschluss in der Steuerleitung. Kontaktieren
Sie hierzu den autorisierten Kundendienst.
8.Gleichzeitige Nutzung mehrerer Saugdosen. Die Matrix Baureihe ist nur für einen Benutzer
ausgelegt.

9. Garantie
9.1 Garantieregelung. Die Anlage wurde dem Kunden zu den im Moment des Kaufes gültigen Bedingungen übergeben. Wenden Sie sich bei jeder Unregelmäßigkeit an Ihren Installateur. Jeder Versuch von seiten des Kunden oder nicht autorisierten Personals, das Gerät und
dessen Komponenten zu öffnen oder in irgendeiner anderen Weise zu manipulieren, hat das
Erlöschen der Garantie zur Folge und entbindet den Hersteller von jeglicher Verantwortung für
daraus resultierende Personen- oder Sachschäden. Folgende Fälle entbinden den Hersteller
von jeglicher Verantwortung:

Unsachgemäße Installation
t
Unsachgemäße Handhabung der Anlage oder deren Zubehör
t
Handhabung gegen die Vorschriften des jeweiligen Landes
t
Benutzung von nicht originalen Ersatzteilen - Teilweise oder gänzliche
Nichtbeachtung der Gebrauchsanweisung
t
Normale Abnutzung
t
Das Nichteinsenden des Garantiescheins
Der Hersteller verpflichtet sich zum Austausch der fehlerhaften Anlageteile in Garantie zu
ersetzen. Die Garantieleistung ist nur gültig, wenn die in diesem Handbuch enthaltenen
Vorschriften eingehalten wurden. Voraussetzung für die Gewährleistung der Garantie ist die
Rücksendung des fehlerhaften Teiles an den Hauptsitz für die Prüfung in der Werkstatt des
technischen Kundendienstes. Der Hersteller behält sich das Recht vor, Garantieleistungen als
solche anzuerkennen. Die Kosten für Einund Ausbau der defekten Teile sowie die anfallenden
Transportkosten sind vom Kunden zu tragen. Die Garantie ist gültig, wenn der abzutrennende
Garantieabschnitt vollständig und leserlich ausgefüllt innerhalb von 30 Tagen ab Kaufdatum
an DISAN zurückgesandt wurde. Sämtliche oben angeführte Garantieleistung werden nur
dann gewährleistet, wenn die vereinbarten Zahlungsbedingungen eingehalten wurden. Gerichtsstand für beide Parteien ist das Amtsgericht Bozen.
9.2 Garantiezertifikat. Senden Sie die nachstehende Karte zwecks Registrierung Ihres Garantieanspruchs innerhalb 30 Tage ausgefüllt an uns zurück.

L´apparecchio non è destinato a essere usato da persone ( bambini compresi) le cui
capacità fisiche, sensoriali o mentali siano ridotte, oppure con mancanza di esperienza o
di conoscenza, a meno che esse abbiano potuto beneficare, attraverso l´intermediazione
di una persona responsabile della loro sicurezza, di una sorveglianza o di istruzioni
riguardanti l´uso dell´apparecchio. i bambini devono essere sorvegliati per sincerarsi che
non giochino con l´apparecchio. Se il cavo di alimentazione è danneggiato, esso deve
essere sostituito dal costruttore o dal suo servizio assistenza o comunque da una persona
con qualifica similare, in modo da prevenire ogni rischio.
1. Introduzione
Complimenti per aver acquistato un aspiratore DISAN ad elevato contenuto tecnologico!
Possedere un aspirapolvere centralizzato DISAN significa aspirare alla massima qualità nella
vita domestica e familiare anche attraverso una casa igienicamente sana, confortevole e di
rapida pulizia.
La serie Matrix è compatta, con un design moderno e gradevole, pratica e potente.
2. Disimballaggio
Trasportare la centrale ancora imballata in prossimità del luogo di installazione seguendo le
indicazioni riportate sull’imballo. Seguire le seguenti istruzioni:
Coricare l`involucro a terra con il lato di apertura rivolto verso l`alto e tagliare il nastro adesivo
di chiusura
Togliere il cartone superiore di
protezione, sollevare la centrale
aspirante ed adagiarla a terra in
posizione verticale liberandola poi

Estrarre dall`imballo tutti gli accessori presenti e smaltire l`imballo in conformità delle
leggi vigente in materia

Verificare che la centrale ed i relativi accessori corrispondono a quanto ordinato e che non
presentino danni evidenti causati dal trasporto

ESEGUITE DA PERSONALE QUALIFICATO
5.1 Luogo d’installazione
L’utilizzo di una centrale aspirante presuppone l’esistenza di una rete tubiera di aspirazione eseguita da personale qualificato che ne ha gia valutato la collocazione migliore.
Di seguito riporteremo le regole principali da seguire per una corretta installazione. In abitazione
su piu piani é necessario collocarla nel punto piu basso dello stabile. Installarla in locali di servizio
(es. box auto o ripostigli) protetti da intemperie, umidità e da eccessivo sbalzi di temperatura.
Scegliere un luogo lontano da fonti di calore quali stufe e caloriferi. Prevedere dello spazio libero
e ben illuminato attorno alla centrale, in modo da rendere agevoli gli interventi di manutenzione
e riparazione.
In caso di dubbi chiedere consiglio al Servizio Assistenza del Costruttore.
Si tratta di uno spazio con le esigenze minime seguenti richieste 70x60cm
5.2 Trasformazione da versione DX a SX
Normalmente le centrali aspiranti sono fornite con attacco tubi aspirazione e scarico alla
destra ( versione DX ), in caso di necessita è possibile trasformarla portando l`attacco tubi a
sinistra
Per eseguire l`operazione è necessario:
1.
Togliere lo Sportello frontale
2.
Svitare le viti e togliere il Raccordo
3.
Sull ´entrata delle polveri é posizionato l’apposito tappo. Svitare le tre viti presenti e toglierlo

4.
Effettuata la modifica sul lato, riposizionare il tappo sul manicotto.
Importante: garantire il corretto posizionamento delle guarnizioni.

5.3 Fissaggio della centrale
Nell’imballaggio si trova anche una dima¸ per facilitarne il montaggio a muro.
Per il fissaggio della centrale aspirante alla parete si utilizza l’apposito supporto in acciaio
compreso nella confezione.
1. La dima viene posizionata dove si
prevede la centrale, facendola aderire
sulla parete. Come punti di riferimento,
dovrebbero essere presi i tubi di entrata
e di uscita.
2. Tracciare i punti di foratura utilizzando la dima di Montaggio
3. Eseguire la foratura
4. Fissare la staffa alla parete
5. Agganciare la centrale alla staffa

5.4 Collegamento alla rete tubiera
1. Utilizzando il manicotto collegare la centrale al tubo di aspirazione
2. Utilizzando il manicotto collegare la centrale
al tubo di scarico dell`aria
3. incollare il silenziatore sul tubo di scarico

5.5 Collegamento elettrico
Prima di effettuare il collegamento elettrico verificare che il voltaggio di alimentazione corrisponda a quello richiesta dalla centrale aspirante
(vedi targhetta di identificazione)
Alimentare il cavo di ingresso segnale di attivazione a bassissima tensione di sicurezza
Il costruttore declina ogni responsabilità per danni a persone e/o a cose derivanti dal collegamento ad un impianto elettrico non a norma.
Per eseguire l`operazione procedere nel seguente modo (vedi disegno)

6. UTILIZZAZIONE
Le caratteristiche di costruzione sono tali da ridurre al massimo l’emissione di rumore ed abbattere la loro maggiore fonte costituita dal motore. Durante l’aspirazione vanno osservate le
seguenti prescrizioni di sicurezza:
t Non esporre l’apparecchio all’uso dei bambini senza sorveglianza;
t Non avvicinare gli accessori d’aspirazione
t agli occhi o alle orecchie, ne introdurvi mani;
t Il produttore non si assume responsabilità per danni derivanti da un uso errato del sistema e
per impieghi diversi da quello previsto, che è l’aspirazione di polvere domestica.
6.1 Uso degli accessori
1) Innestare l’accessorio desiderato al manicotto del tubo flessibile o alla
fine del tubo cromato:
2) Sollevare lo sportello della presa aspirante ed inserirvi il raccordo terminale del flessibile.
3a)Con una presa automatica (con microinterruttore) l’impianto si accende sollevando lo sportello ribaltabile.
3b) Con una presa semi-automatica con contatti l’impianto si accende
o mediante l’innesto del flessibile o mediante l’azionamento dell’interruttore, nel caso si utilizzasse un tubo flessibile elettrificato con interruttore
accendi spegni sull’impugnatura.
4) In caso di un eccessiva aspirazione, fare uso del regolatore di pressione posto sul raccordo curvo.
5) Terminate le pulizie, agire sull’interruttore o allontanare il flessibile dalla
presa accompagnando delicatamente lo sportello.
7. MANUTENZIONE
7.1 Prescrizioni di sicurezza:
- Se si teme un difetto o se le cause di malfunzionamento non sono risolvibili consultando la
tabella “ricerca guasti” rivolgersi al rivenditore o installatore autorizzato.
- Qualsiasi intervento va eseguito esclusivamente a macchina ferma e scollegata dall’alimentazione elettrica
- Si consiglia un controllo periodico del filtro HEPA ed una revisione generale
dell´apparecchio ogni 4/5 anni (sistema in generale e cavi)
7.2 Manutenzione ordinaria
Tutte le operazioni sono da eseguire sull’aspiratore a macchina ferma e scollegata e riportata a temperatura ambiente.
Come sostituire il sacchetto interno:

Togliere lo sportellino frontale

Togliere il sacchetto pieno e chiuderlo con apposito tappo gia´predisposto
3.
Togliere il filtro interno per una corretta pulizia. Il filtro interno e´lavabile a temperatura
media.
IMPORTANTE: prima di rimettere il filtro, assicurarsi che sia completamente asciutto.
4.
Nel posizionare il nuovo sacchetto, assicurarsi di aprirlo per dargli la giusta forma
all´interno del contenitore.
IMPORTANTE: nell´inserire il nuovo sacchetto, assicurarsi che sia correttamente posizionato il
cerchio d´entrata, nell´apposito spazio presente sul manicotto interno ( vedi foto allegata )

8. Ricerca guasti (Tab. pag.27)
1.Anomalia sull`aspirazione. Se l`aspirazione alla presa è debole, verificare lo stato di riempimento del sacchetto di carta e procedere alla sua sostituzione, e verificare la condizione del
filtro HEPA.
2.Intasamento del tubo flessibile. Se l`aspirazione alla presa è buona significa che
l`intasamento è nel tubo flessibile. Normalmente questo problema si risolve aspirando nel
tubo in senso contrario.
3.Intasamento nelle tubazioni. Spesso questo problema si risolve aspirando in senso contrario,
ovvero dalla presa aspirante dopo aver scollegato dalla rete tubiera la centrale aspirante. In
caso il problema persiste contattare il proprio installatore.
4.Guarnizione delle presa aspirante difettosa. Nel caso di fischi alla presa o perdite di flusso
riavvitare in maniera corretta e se necessario sostituire le guarnizione.
5.Surriscaldamento. Nel caso il motore sia surriscaldato, a causa di un intasamento del filtro,
della linea tubiera o di una strozzatura nella linea di sfiato, scatta il termostato del motore
(90°). Dopo circa 8-10 minuti l`apparecchio si riaccende. Verificare se c`è un intasamento
nella tubazione e correggerlo. Se dopo questa procedura il termostato continua a scattare,
contattare il proprio installatore.
6.Fusibile. Il fusibile scatta nel momento in cui, il motore sottoposto a sovraccarico, a sbalzi di
corrente o il motore è difettoso.
7.Motore non si spegne. Se la centrale aspirante non si spegne dopo aver terminato le
operazioni probabilmente si tratta di un corto circuito nella linea elettrica a bassa tensione.
Contattare il proprio installatore.
8.Utilizzo contemporaneo di più prese di aspirazione. La centrale Matrix e concipito per
l`utilizzo di una sola persona.

9. GARANZIA
9.1 Regolamento. La macchina è stata consegnata all’utente alle condizioni valide al momento dell’acquisto. Per ogni anomalia riscontrata, rivolgersi al proprio installatore. Ogni tentativo di smontaggio di modifica o in generale di manomissione di un qualsiasi componente
della centrale aspirante, da parte dell’ utente o di personale non autorizzato, ne invaliderà
la garanzia e solleverà la ditta costruttrice da ogni responsabilità, circa gli eventuali danni sia
a persone che a cose derivanti da tale manomissione. Il fabbricante si ritiene altresì sollevato
da eventuali responsabilità nei seguenti casi:

non corretta installazione;
t
uso improprio della centrale aspirante o degli accessori;
t
mancata o scorretta manutenzione prevista;
t
utilizzo di ricambi non originali;
t
inosservanza totale o parziale delle istruzioni;
t
non invio del certificato di garanzia
Il produttore si impegna a sostituire in garanzia le parti che risultassero difettose per difetto di
costruzione. Per la validità della garanzia, devono essere assolutamente rispettate le prescrizioni contenute nel presente libretto. Presupposto per il riconoscimento della garanzia è la
spedizione del pezzo difettoso alla sede, per la sua verifica nei laboratori dell’Ufficio Tecnico
DISAN. Il produttore si riserva di stabilire i casi in cui i pezzi difettosi ricadono nelle condizioni di
sostituzione in garanzia. Le spese di montaggio e smontaggio e quelle di trasporto dei pezzi
difettosi, sono a carico dell’acquirente. La garanzia è operante se il talloncino da staccare
sarà restituito debitamente compilato in maniera leggibile entro il termine massimo di 30
giorni dalla data di acquisto. La garanzia non è riconosciuta agli acquirenti non in regola
con i pagamenti pattuiti. In tal caso il produttore può astenersi dall’eseguire le riparazioni. Per
qualsiasi controversia è competente esclusivamente il Foro di Bolzano. (Italia)

The unit is not suitable to be used by people (included children) affected by physical
or sensorial or mental weakness, as well as by people with a lack of experience or
knowledge, unless they could benefit by an intermediate subject responsible for their
security of a supervision or with proper instructions about the correct use of this unit.
Children have to be supervised in order to avoid them to play with the unit.
If the power cable is damaged, it have to be substituted by the manufacturer or by an
appointed technical service or by a specialist with similar degree, in order to prevent
any risk.

2. Unpacking
Follow the instruction printed on the cardboard box to move the central unit to the location
selected for installation.
Arrange the cardboard box on the floor, with
the opening side upward and cut the adhesive
tape.
Open the box, remove internal cardboard
and lift with both hands the central unit with
the nylon bag. Arrange it on the floor and

5. Installation
5.1 Place of installation
The installation of central unit is following to the layout of the piping set by an appointed
installer. Considering the construction’s features, the protection class IP55 and the moderate
noise level, the Matrix units can be installed even outdoor.
The minimal room for installation chamber is
70 x 60 cm (lxh)
5.2 Inlet reversibility
The Matrix unit is usually delivered with inlet connection assembled on the right side of the
unit. When necessary, it is possible to switch the central unit form right to left, by assembling
the inlet on the left side.

5.3 Fixing the central unit
Inside the packaging you will find the special installation template to easy the position and
fixing, as well as the installation wall plate.

5.5 Electrical connection
Before plugging in the central unit make sure that the main power supply correspond to the
voltage requirements written on the label, which referred to the data on the identification

6. Use of central unit
The cleaner is manufactured in order to minimize the output of noise both in the body as in
the motor. During operation please pay attention to the following advices:
t Do not allow children to operate the cleaner without surveillance.
t Do not allow the suction of the handle to come into contact with eyes or ears; Do not insert
fingers in the handle;
t Pay attention to the ceasing of the cleaner; Due to the vacuum pressure in the tubing and
in the motor, the system remains active for a couple of second after switching it off;
t Disan takes no responsibility for any harm or damage done due to misuse of the central
unit.
6.1 Use of accessories
1) Place the suitable ends together: Into the handle; into the two chrome
plated extensions or into the chrome plated telescopic wand.
2) Lift the cover of the inlet valve and place the metal cuff or the vacuum
hose.
3a)If an automatic inlet is being used the system will start when the inlet
flap is opening. vacuum
3b)If using a semi-automatic inlet, the unit will start when the hose is
inserted into the valve or when the switch is operated on the handle of
flexible hose.
4) In the event of excessive suction make use of the pressure regulation
on the handle.
5) When vacuuming is finished, the unit can be switched off by removing
the hose from the inlet valve and carefully closing the flap.
7. Maintenance
7.1 Technical advice
If during operation an irregularity is experienced that is not dealt with in following section
“maintenance of central unit” , please switch off the cleaner and get it inspected by a qualified customer service.
No maintenance or repair work should be carried out on the central unit unless it is disconnected from the main power supply.
Disan recommend a general check of the electric motor, bearings, cables every 4/5 years.
7.2 Ordinary maintenance.
All this operations have to be carried out on the central unit disconnected by the main power
and when the cleaner and other parts are chilled form the surrounding temperature. This
maintenance is made to keep the cleaner working properly and to extend the lifetime of the
cleaner.
Emptying of dust container
Modell Matrix PT:
1.
Open the front panel, which is closed with quick-fix magnets.
2.
Remove the disposable paper-bag filter, close it with the flap and waste in the proper trash.
3.
Clean the motor protection by shaking and knocking
The cleaning of motor protection can be done also with cold water, but before use pay
attention this must be completely dry.
4.
Before inserting a new paper bag filter shake it until it takes the maximal volume.
Beware that rubber joints are in a good shape and they are in the proper place.

8. Troubleshooting (Table page 41)
1.Loose of vacuum power. If vacuum power at the inlet valves seems too weak, the first
investigation to do i sto check if the paper bag is full and proceed to ( emptying the dust
container ) and check also the HEPA filter.
2.Flexible hose is blocked. If suction at the inlet valve is correct, but not on the handle, the
flexible hose could be stopped. Usually you can solve the problem by a reverse vacuuming.
3.Blockages in the pipes. Most of the times this problem you can solve the problem by a
reverse vacuuming. After having disconnected the central unit from rigid PVC pipes try to
vacuum from the inlet valve. If the problem is not solved contact your installer.
4.Inlet valve seal damaged or not well secured. The air loss in connection with a whistling
noise by a closed inlet valve is caused by a not perfect sealing or screwing of the inlet with
pipes. Check the tightness and if needed change the joints.
5.Overheating. If the motor becomes overheated due to a chocked filter or for a blockage
in the piping, the thermostat will switch the motor off when temperature is over 90° C. It will
restart when it is cooled down, after about 8-10 minutes. If after you have excluded that a
stoppage somewhere between the motor and the handle has happened, call the customer
service
6.Safety protection. The fuse blows if the vacuum motor is exposed to an overload by main
power or if the motor is defected.
7.Motor does not turn off. If the motor does not turn off after use, ther is probably a short circuit
in the control line. Contact the Disan customer service.
8.Simultaneous use of several inlet valves. the Matrix range is conceived to be used by a
single person at the time.

9. Guarantee
9.1 Terms of guarantee The guarantee conditions become valid from the date the system
was first purchased. Always refer to professional advice on installation and maintenance
problems. Any attempt by the customer or other persons to modify or repair the system with
non original parts will automatically render the warranty void and the manufacturer will not
be held responsible for any damage caused either to persons or their property.
The following relieves the manufacturer of any responsibility for warranty:

Use of non original spare parts failing to observe the operating instructions

Total or partial inobservance of the present manual

Not sending of guarantee coupon
The manufacturer will replace under guarantee any parts that are found to be defective due
to faulty construction. All defective parts must be returned to the manufacturer for inspection
in their technical laboratories and the parts will be replaced. The costs involved by taking
apart, assembly and for the transport are responsibility of the purchaser. The guarantee issued
by Disan will be valid if the coupon is received by the manufacturer or installer no more than
30 days after the purchase date. Replacement parts under guarantee will not be issued if the
payment terms were observed by the purchaser. Any disputes will be resolved by the courts
in Bolzano (Italy).
9.2 Coupon of guarantee. For the registration of your guarantee fright fill in the coupon on
the cover of the present book and insert the data reported on the identification label of your
cleaner. Send it within 30 days from purchase.
