TH E G OAL OF TH E GA ME
Be the fastest player to see if the newly turned over bag card and the
bag cards that are already on the table match the goal tile—Is it the right
number? Then be quick and grab Zacki to win the cards for yourself! Once
all the cards have been played, the player with the most cards wins!
SET T ING UP TH E GA ME
Put Zacki and the goal tile showing the number “6” in the center of the
table. Pick one random bag card from each of the four types and place
them around Zacki and the goal tile, face-up.
Shuffle the remaining cards and deal an equal number to each player. These
are your personal draw piles.
Example Setup for four players:

Smilla‘s

P LAYING TH E G A ME
The oldest player goes first, then you take turns in a clockwise direction.
During the game, players take turns turning over cards. There is a row for
each of the four types of bags. At the start of the game, each row contains
one card. New cards are always placed in the matching row (Bag Pipe with
Bag Pipe etc.). There can be only one row for each type of bag.
The goal tile determines the number of bags per row you will need to make.
In the basic version of the game, that number is 6.
TURN OVER A CARD!
On your turn, flip over the top card of your draw pile
and put it in front of you face-up for all to see. Take
care to turn over the card facing away from you and as
quickly as possible, so all players get to see its face at
the same time.
TAKE A LOOK!
Now, you‘re all playing! Could you place the card in the matching row,
either next to the other cards or on top of one, so that exactly six bags show
in this row? Don‘t put the card in the row just yet, only look at it!
1. Yes, if you put this card in the matching row or on top of a card in this
row, there will be 6 bags in that row:
All players try to be the first to grab Zacki!
2. No, the required number can‘t be created:
Place your card in the matching row. If there were already more than
6 bags in this row, place it on top of the card with the most bags in that
row. Otherwise, place it next to the other cards.
Example 1: Helena turns
over a card with 2 Bag Pipes.
It‘s impossible to create a
row showing 6 Bag Pipes, so
Zacki stays where he is. The
matching row has fewer than
6 bags, so she puts the new
card next to the old one.
Helena
Johanna
Example 2: Johanna turns over a card
showing 3 Weeping Bags. All players try to
grab Zacki quickly, because it‘s possible to
cover one of the cards showing 1 Weeping
Bag to create a row with exactly 6 Weeping
Bags. The player who manages to get a
hold of Zacki first wins all four Weeping
Bag cards from the display.
Example 3: Smilla turns over a
card showing 2 Cheeky Bags.
It‘s impossible to create a row
with 6 Cheeky Bags, so Zacki
remains in place. There are
more than 6 bags in the matching row, so she has to put her
two Cheeky Bags on top of the
card showing 5 Cheeky Bags.
Smilla
WILD CARDS
When a wild card comes up, you can try to create the required
number of bags in any row! If it‘s impossible to create a row with
the required number of bags, the player who has turned over the
wild puts it on any row according to the rules. The wild always
counts as one bag of that row’s type.
I GOT ZACKI!
If you grab Zacki, you have to show how to create a row showing 6 bags.
If you can do it, take all the cards from that row and put them in front of
you in a face-up pile. These are your victory points.
The row stays empty for now, until the next card of this type is turned over.
This can also be a wild.
OOOPS - I GOT IT WRONG!
If you have grabbed Zacki but you can‘t show a correct solution, you have
to take one card from your points pile and put it under your draw pile. If
you don’t have any points cards yet, you don’t lose anything.
TH E EN D OF TH E GA ME
The game ends when all players have used up their draw piles. The player
with the most cards in his or her points pile wins the game. Each card scores
you one point, no matter how many bags it shows. In case of a tie, all players with the most cards are winners.
Note: If there are any players who have run out of cards to turn over before
the game ends, the others keep taking turns until all players have turned
over all their cards.
VAR IAN TS
These variants make the game more challenging:
Variant 1: Pick a different goal tile at the start of the game. Instead of a
“6”, why not try an “8”? Put the goal tile you have picked in the center of
the table. It applies to all four rows, as usual.
Variant 2: Pick two goal tiles at the start of the game, for example a “6”
and a “12”. Grab Zacki if a row shows either one of the required numbers
of bags.
Variant 3: Pick a different goal tile for each of the four rows of bags. For
example, you could assign the “7” to the Weeping Bags, the “8” to the Bag
Pipes, the “9” to the Travel Bags, and the “12” to the Cheeky Bags.
