To change the oil, first let the engine warm up. Then, remove the oil drain plug and allow the oil to drain completely. Replace the drain plug, remove the oil fill cap/dipstick, and add up to 0.63 qt. (0.6 L) of oil. Replace the oil fill cap/dipstick.

Make certain the generator is on a flat, level surface. Disconnect all electrical loads from the generator. Turn the Fuel Valve to the “ON” position. Flip the ignition switch to the “ON” position. Move the choke lever to the “CHOKE” position. Pull the starter cord slowly until resistance is felt and then pull rapidly. As soon as the engine starts, move the choke lever to the “RUN” position.

Let the engine warm up for a few minutes after starting. Plug in and turn on the desired 120 Volt AC single phase, 60 Hz electrical loads.
