INSTRUCTIONS SPRAYGUN
E-80 / G-80
SAFETY
WARNINGS
Never use HALIDE HYDROCARBON SOLVENTS (1.1.1 Tnchlonde, Chloride Ethyl etc.),
acids or alkalis that would cause dangerous chemical reactions with the materials used in constructing the spray gun.
Do not smoke or produce sparks: this could cause fire.
Always be sure that the painting equipment is earthed correctly.
HEALTH & SAFETY EQUIPMENT AND
PRECAUTIONS:
The use of some paint products containing organic solvenls can cause lntoxication due to the toxic fumes they
emit. In every case, it is necessary to read the technical
sheets for the products before use.
WARNINGS CONCERNING IMPROPER USE
Never direct the jet towards persons or animals.
Never exceed the rated pressures.
Before disassembly and cleaning, make sure that the
spray gun has been disconnected from the supply unit.
Use the spray gun only in well ventilated rooms.
Always wear suitable protective gloves and goggles as
well as specitic breathing filters/masks.
Use special clothing to protect the body from contact with
toxic vapours, solvents or with the products is use.

MAINTENANCE
Incomplete
cleaning
could cause function failures and a degradation
of the fan form.
1. Remove any remaining
paint by pouring it into
another container.

WARNING: DISCONNECT THE SPRAY GUN FROM THE EQUIP
MENT BEFORE ANY DISASSEMBLY OPERATIONS
2. Disassemble the spray
gun making sure to remove
the needle before disassembling the nozzle to
avoid damage to the housing of the nozzle closure
The E-80 / G-80 series of spray guns has been designed for the application of colours, paints or other fluid substances.
The instrument is not suitable for use with abrasives or products containing acids or petrol of any kind.

1. When posslble, use an air hose with a minimum Internal sectiom of 8 mm (0.3").
2. Make sure that the compressed air is perfectly filtered to remove air, oil or other impurities.
3. Pull the trigger a first time so that the air flows through the gun and adjust the pressure to 3-3,5 bar (42.9-50
psi) on the pistol grip.
N.B.: When using a 10-mt. hose, adjust the air pressure on the regulating filter upstream to a maximum value of 4-4.5 bar
(57,2-64,3 psi) to obtain the recommended atomising pressure of 3-3.5 bar (42.9-50 psi) on the pistol grip.
ADVICE FOR CORRECT USE
CAUSE
UNEVEN JET
E-80 / G-80
USE
DANGER OF FlRE OR EXPLOSION:
INTERMITTENT JET
MOD.
3. Clean all the paint passages and the nozzle.
Clean the other components using a brush soaked
in solvent.
4. Reassemble the spray
gun and spray a small
quantity of solvent to eliminate all the residues in the
paint passages.
WARNING:
NEVER USE METAL OR OTHER OBJECTS THAT COULD DAMAGE THE HOLES IN THE NOZZLE
AND CAP NEVER IMMERSE THE SPRAY GUN COMPLETELY IN SOLVENT
NEVER USE COMPONENTS OR PARTS THAT ARE NOT ORIGINALS
1. The distance between the spray gun and the surface to be painted must be set between 150 and 200
mm (5.9-7.9"). If the spray gun is working at too low a pressure and at too high a distance, it will not perform to
the best of its capacity.
2. The jet from the spray gun must always be perpendicular to the surface being painted and the paint must be
apptied in horizontal strokes. Any eventual shift from this position
when spraying will result in an uneven application of the paint
layer.
3. Correct viscosity of the paint is between 15 and 25 sec. Cup
Ford n 4. These values depend on the application in question
and the size of the nozzle in use.
OK
