MOT Centre Management – this is a compulsory
course for prospective MOT managers. Those who
have direct responsibility for MOT operations at a
testing station (e.g. site managers) will also benefit
from attending. Topics covered include responsibilities,
supporting acts and regulations, documentation and
quality control.
The RMI is the UK’s leading automotive trade body,
representing franchised car and commercial vehicle
dealers, independent garages, bodyshops, motorcycle
dealers, petrol retailers, auction houses and cherished
number plate dealers, who provide sales and services to
motorists and businesses across the UK.
IMI Light Vehicle Inspection Lv3 – formerly ATA, this
course is for technicians who do not hold a relevant, level
3 NVQ qualification but want to become an MOT tester
for class 3, 4, 5 or 7 vehicles. It is the direct replacement
for the DVA’s NTTA exam.
Please note: prices are subject to change and may vary
depending on site-specific circumstances. All prices are
subject to VAT.
The course covers modules on inspections for
emission systems, electrical systems, braking
systems, steering and suspension systems, vehicle
structure and vehicle appraisal.
There is an option to take the assessment only if training
is not required. Details can be found in the table above.
