DO NOT SWITCH YOUR MACHINE OFF;
ALWAYS LEAVE IT IN POSITION 1.
It will always be ready to make an espresso. Its energy-saving technology means
that when you leave it on standby, it will consume less than 0.5 W/hr.

QUICK START
B Take your machine out of its box
and remove all of its packaging.
G Wait a few seconds, and the
machine will start.
H The machine’s power light will
flash for 10 seconds and then go out.
C Make sure that you remove the
cup support found in the dose tank.
D Rinse the reservoir with tap water,
fill it and replace it.
E Plug the power cable into a
suitable earthed socket.
F Switch the machine on by
pressing the switch at the back left
of the machine (position1).
YOUR MACHINE IS
READY FOR USE.
I Place a cup beneath the spout.
PRE-USE RINSING:
DO NOT INSERT A DOSE.
J Press the “ Long coffee “ button.
The cycle will begin after 15 seconds.
At the end of each cycle, empty
your cup and the dose tank. Repeat
the operation 4 times.
Your Ek’Oh machine is now ready
for you to prepare some excellent
espressos.
MAKING A COFFEE
B Take a 1,2,3 Spresso® dose out of its packaging.
C Put it into the appropriate place.
D Press the button for your chosen coffee. Once extraction is complete, the
used dose is ejected automatically.
PERSONALISE THE
CUP AMOUNT
Open the dose packaging. Put the dose into the appropriate place. Press and
hold your chosen button for 5 seconds :
Short cup:
Long cup:
The arrow and the button to be set will start to flash.
Press the button to be set: the coffee cycle will begin.
When the desired amount of coffee is reached, press the button concerned
again : the new amount will be memorised by your machine.
Repeat the same operation to set the second button.
† Setting the maximum amount for a cup = 14 cl.
OPERATION
The arrow flashes white:
1 – Dose tank full:
Check the dose tank. If it is full,
empty it.
2 – The percolator cover is open/
wrongly positioned:
Return it to the correct position.
4 - The reservoir is empty.
Check the reservoir. If it is empty,
fill it and press the button for your chosen coffee to confirm.
The machine will restart: it is ready to be used again.
3 – Dose stuck in the percolator.
Open the cover and remove the dose if there is one. Close the cover again.
If you use it without a dose, some of the hot water will flow into the dose tank. Consider emptying it when you first use it without a dose.

A DOSE IS STUCK IN
THE MACHINE:
To release the stuck dose, do the following:
† Open the infusion module cover without switching the machine off, and
see if a dose is stuck in the infusion module.
† Remove the dose and close the
infusion module cover again.
