! CAUTION
BOX CONTENTS:
• Use only water with a neutral pH (7).
• Do not expose to direct sun light for extended
periods of time.
• Do not expose to excessive cold or heat
(40˚ F min to 113˚ F max).
• Use a check valve as required to prevent back-flow.
• Maximum pressure of 116 psi, use a pressure
reducer as required.
• Use an anti-hammering device as required.
• Insure breather valve is closed (including after filter
replacement).

INSTALLATION:
IMPORTANT NOTE: For best performance, water
pressure to the steam generator should be 15 to 20 psig.
Filter Cup
• All plumbing shall be done in accordance
with local and national plumbing codes.
• Turn-off water supply before installation or service.

• Use the supplied wall bracket to prevent
excessive loading on the steam generator.
Optional Bypass
Union
• Connect the supply plumbing to the side marked
with the "IN arrow" and the outlet plumbing to
the side with the "OUT arrow".

CAUTION Do not over tighten the
threaded connections on the filter.
• Use only Teflon tape as a sealant for the
connections.

• The installation of a By-pass is recommended.
• After the installation, let the water flow through
the filter for at least 5 minutes before using, check for leaks.
In normal operation the valves on the
filter line shall be open, and the valve
on the bypass shall remain closed.

MAINTENANCE:
• Filter change recommended every 6 months
• When replacing the filter, clean the filter cup with cold water and a soft sponge.
• Before opening to replace filter: turn-off the water mains and release the pressure
from the product by un-screwing the breathe-valve (located on top of filter), be sure
to close afterwards. Only use the wrench provided when replacing the filter cartridge.
• If not in use for a long time, remove cartridge to remove stagnant water.
Before using again clean filter cup and use a new cartridge.
• After maintenance, let the water flow for at least 5 minutes before using.
! WARNING Only replace cartridge with Mr.Steam part number
MS-CARTRIDGE. Using other cartridges will void the warranty and
may cause property damage.
