Instruction Manual
Read all the instructions carefully and follow basic safety precautions always
including the following:
1. Never immerse the power cord, plug and the appliance into water or any
other liquid to avoid danger caused by electrical shock.
2. If the power cord, plug and kettle were damaged, please stop using your appliance
immediately. Take it to the authorized service center for examination and repair.
3. After use, unplug the appliance from the main socket.
4. Do not overfill the appliance as boiling water may eject out and damage
person or inflow into the inside of the power base to cause short circuit.
5. Never carry the kettle by holding the lid instead of the handle.

13. Do apply other electrical appliance with high voltage on the same circuit
to avoid any danger caused overload.
14. When boiling, do not open the top lid to avoid personal damages caused
by hot steam.
15. Do not touch the spout or steam outlet of the kettle.
16. To protect against fire, do not operate in presence of explosive and / or
flammable fumes.
Do not keep the power cord pulled or depressed with any heavy load.
When in use, do not touch the hot surface of the kettle.
Before cleaning, allow the kettle cool down completely.
When in use, place the kettle on a flat and stable surface.
Never cover the spout or spout with something when boiling.
Do not plug the appliance in main socket when the kettle is empty. Do not
leave the appliance unattended when plugging in.

1. Place the Kettle together with its Base Unit on a dry and flat surface.
2. In case the length of exposed power cord is not enough to plug in, extedd the
power cord retracted-in Base Unit (Max.exposed cord length: 0.75M.
3. Before first use, fill the kettle with clean water to MAX line and boil. Discard
and repeat for formal use.
4. Filling: Depress the Lid Release Button inward and open the lid up (figure 1).
Fill the kettle with tap water directly no over the MAX line and lower the MIN
line (Figure 2). You are allowed to fill the kettle via the spout (Figure 3).
5. Put the kettle containing clean water onto the Base Unit vertically.
6. Plug the appliance in the mains socket.
7. Depress On/Off Switch to “I” position (Figure 5), the Pilot light comes on
indicating that the appliance start working.
8. When water has boiled, the kettle will switch off automatically. The pilot light
goes off. After allowing the kettle cool down for 1 minute, the water can be
brought back for re-boiling via push the Switch back to “I” position.
9. Hold the body handle and slope down slowly to pour water into the cup (Figure 6).
10. During boiling, you are allowed to stop heating momentarily by depressing
On/Off Switch to “O” position (Figure 5).

After using for a period of time, the water scale may built up on the inside
surface of the kettle and influence the performance and appearance. Descale
your kettle as indicated below:
1. Fill the kettle with 1.2 Liter liquid mixed with acetic acid and water at a
proportion of 1:2.
2. Plug the appliance; depress the On/Off Switch to “O” position indicating the
appliance start to heat up.
3. When liquid boiled, unplug the Kettle. Allow the mixture cool down; remove
the scale with soft cloth or brush.
4. Throw away this boiled water; rinse inside of the kettle with clean water and
wipe the kettle dry with a soft cloth.
