TH E PR IVATE ROOM AT
The Danby Room at The Ivy Café, Wimbledon Village is located above the
main restaurant on the first floor and seats up to 20 guests on separate tables,
or 16 on one long table. It offers a selection of Ivy Café classic menus, created
by The Ivy Collection’s Executive Chef, Sean Burbidge.
Natural daylight floods the room and the walls are adorned with locallyreferenced artwork and prints depicting Wimbledon House, the official
residence of The Earl of Danby in 1678. The polished parquet floor, burned
orange leather, brass-studded dark wood chairs and Art Deco-style central
brass lights add touches of glamour.
The room is versatile and equally suited to private parties and celebrations, as
it is to corporate breakfasts, lunches and dinners. The menus are seasonal and
accessible, the room comfortable and intimate, and the space will provide the
ideal setting for entertaining friends, family and clients in Wimbledon Village.
Complimentary menu cards and place cards are provided for each event and
each table is decorated with seasonal flowers and tea lights.
