be having bake sales and invite them to
position their sale near the milk vending

SET A SALES GOAL. Set a goal for
number of milks to be sold in the
machine during a special week at school,
perhaps during final exams,
homecoming, prom week or basketball
tournament time. Promote your goal
and post daily results. Share some of
the extra sales profits with a student
charity or local food bank as an incentive
for students to buy extra milk and reach
the goal.

Be sure to put signs in the locker rooms

they are likely to be hungry. If your
school has an electronic billboard, post
a fun reminder to stop and chug milk

Place a banner ad about school milk
vending on the school website, reminding students to stop and get fresh cold
milk at the machine.
CALL AND ASK. Wisconsin Dairy
Council has a variety of posters, static
clings and giveaway items to help promote your milk vending sales. Contact
one of our regional program managers
and ask for vending promotion materials
to be shipped directly to your school.
