10. Applications
•
Great for home security. Darkened homes are irresistible to burglars. With Acuner’s
timer seven-day programming [Mode 1]you can set different On/Off time for your lights
each day of the week.
Home lighting / Fan
• We all feel cold early morning and hate to get up just to turn off the fan. Acuner timer in
Mode 2 can be used to set a specified OFF time and fan will turn off automatically.
Outdoor lighting
(Gate / Porch /
wall / garden)
•
We tend to forget turning On/Off the gate light daily; also when we travel out of our
homes lights remain On/Off throughout the day; it gives an indication to burglars that
there is no one at home. Using Acuner timer [Mode 1] will address this issue.
•
Most bathroom exhaust fans are designed to run 24/7. Question is, do we need it to run
24/7? Using our Exhaust fan mode (Mode 4), you can set the periodic on / off duration for
the week and save on energy costs by more than 50%. For example, the timer is set to 15
mins of ON time and 15 Mins of OFF time, this way the exhaust is running only 50% and is
still effective. You can set the start and stop time for the day, and weekend settings a well.
Running the exhaust fan lesser means less conditioned air sucked out of your home /
office.
•
For applications like household water pump, many a time we turn ON the motor and wait
till the tank gets filled, it is waste of someone’s time also at times water will spillover from
the tank leading to wastage. Acuner timer with a suitable contactor when operated in
Mode 3 will solve this problem.
•
Hoardings are to be turned ON only during night, Acuner timer in Mode 1 can be used for
this purpose.
•
Signboards are to be turned ON only during night, Acuner timer in Mode 1 can be used for

Humidity inside the greenhouse to be maintained at a specific value; it can be done by
operating the exhaust fan periodically. Acuner timer in Mode 4 can be operated for this
purpose.
•
When you don’t need the Air Conditioner to be ON continuously, use Acuner timer’s
Mode 4 to set ON and OFF duration periodically. For example, set ON time to 10 mins and
OFF to 10 mins, this way AC is running on 50% and still effective.
