The change from one step to the next is performed by pressing the START button. It is
therefore possible to skip one or more steps (except those where level control is necessary).
It is possible to disconnect the appliance during test, in order to check the faulty circuit, and then
to connect it again and continue the test.
To cancel the test, the START button must be kept pressed down for more than 2 seconds.
ACCESS TO TEST PROGRAM
Press START 5 times within 5 seconds.
The PRE WASH and INTENSIVE LED’s will light up.
Press START again. All LED’s will light up in sequence.
CHECK OF PROGRAM SELECTOR
Press START button. One of the LED’s around program selector will light.
Turn the program selector knob and check that only one LED lights up at a time.
CHECK OF BUTTONS
Pressing the buttons makes the related LED come on or go off.
QUICK button will operate QUICK LED.
DELAYED START will operate END LED.
Note. Pressing START causes test to advance to next step.
CHECK OF THERMISTOR
Press START button.
After 3 seconds if thermistor is OK, UNIVERSAL ECO LED will come on solid.
If fault with thermistor UNIVERSAL ECO LED will flash.
CHECK OF COMPONENTS
Press START button.
Note. If there is no communication between display board and power board, then all LED’s go
off and it is impossible to continue. Check the link between the two boards.
CHECK DRAIN PUMP AND EV2
PRE WASH, INTENSIVE and UNIVERSAL 65°C LED’s come on alternately.
Note. It is impossible to continue if machine remains at full level.

CHECK OF FILLING AND EV1
Press START button.
UNIVERSAL ECO LED flashes as long
as the level is low. As soon as L1 is
attained the LED comes on solid and the
test program advances automatically to
the next step. At this very instant, listen
carefully for the click of the pressure
switch. It is possible to open the door and
check the water level in the tank, then close the door to continue test.
Note. It is impossible to continue if the machine remains at empty level.
CHECK OF FLOWMETER FILLING
UNIVERSAL ECO and PREWASH LED’s come
on alternately. Once the filling is complete, both
LED’s will become solid and it is possible to open
the door and check the water level in the tank,
then close the door to continue test.
Note. It is necessary to wait until filling is
complete before advancing to the next step.
CHECK CYCLING PUMP
Press START button.
PREWASH and UNIVERSAL ECO LED’s come on alternately.
CHECK OF HEATING (WITH CYCLING)
Press START button.
During heating the UNIVERSAL ECO LED is flashing. As soon as the board detects a rise of
5°c, the heating stops and the UNIVERSAL ECO LED comes on solid.
CHECK OF REGENERATION VALVE (WITHOUT CYCLING)
Press START button.
UNIVERSAL ECO and PREWASH LED’s come on alternately.
Check the water drains from the regeneration containers in the distributor.
CHECK OF RINSING PRODUCT THERMO-ACTIVATOR (WAX BLOCK)
Press START button.
INTENSIVE and DELICATE LED’s come on alternately. After a few moments check the
release of rinse aid on the inner door, (wipe it off and close the door to continue test).
CHECK OF DRAIN PUMP
Press START button.
There will be 10 seconds of cycling to wash away rinse aid. DELICATE LED is flashing,
followed by supply to drain pump. The DELICATE LED flashes during draining and comes on
solid as soon as low level is attained.
Note. Advance to the next step is automatically performed, but it is impossible to advance if
the machine remains at high level.
EXIT FROM TEST PROGRAM
At this stage you can disconnect power and dishwasher will exit test or you can press START
button and dishwasher will exit test.
