Cat. #1920 PELICAN TM 1920 LED INSTRUCTION MANUAL This compact flashlight produces an ultra bright light beam by using a LED powered by (2) two AAA 1.5V alkaline batteries. The 1920 flashlight is designed for easy use with one hand opera ion and has a dual-switch mode for constant-on and momentary-on. The 1920 flashlight body is made by high precision CNC machines from aircraft-grade aluminum alloy for the most durable construction. The 1920 flashlight is water resistant. TO INSERT BATTERIES 1. R emove he tail cap by turning counter-clockwise. 2. Install (2) two AAA alkaline batteries with + terminal facing to the head assembly. 3. Replace the tail cap onto the flashlight by turning clockwise until sealed. OPERATION High > Low > Off 1. MOMENTARY Gently depress he tail button for momentary operation. Press once for high, press again (within a half second) to change from high to low. 2. CONSTANT ON • Single click for High • Three clicks (no more than a half second between clicks) for low 3. LIGHT-OFF Press the tail button to turn OFF. TO CHANGE BATTERIES 1. R emove the tail cap by turning counter-clockwise until it comes off he rear of the 1920 flashlight. 2. Remove the (2) two used batteries from the 1920 flashlight. 3. Install he (2) two new AAA alkaline batteries with + terminal facing to the head assembly. 4. Replace the tail cap by turning clockwise until sealed. GENERAL CARE AND MAINTENANCE 1. Clean o-rings with a soft clean cloth to insure that sealing area is free of dirt that could destroy the o-ring seal. 2. Apply a light coat of clear silicone grease on the o-rings occasionally if turning action becomes too difficult. 3. Remove the tail cap and wipe the rear threads of the 1920 flashlight body and inside of the tail cap with a soft clean cloth occasionally to avoid intermittent flashlight operation. CAUTION To prevent the 1920 flashlight coming on accidentally when the flashlight is stored, remove the batteries. If the 1920 flashlight is turned on while it is in a container, the flashlight can overheat and damage the flashlight or the material of the surrounding area. SPECIFICATIONS BULB Batteries LED (2) Two AAA alkaline or other equivalent alkaline batteries O-RING MAINTENANCE Check closely for cuts, scratches, or otherwise damaged o-ring or mating lens lip surface. Remove any dirt or foreign matter from o-ring sealing surfaces. Keep threads, o-ring groove and inside lip of lens lubricated with silicone grease. See Warranty information for replacement of o-ring. The use of o her battery technologies may reduce the performance of the flashlight and will invalidate he safety approval. 2. Always read he battery manufacturers recommenda ions for the appropriate use of the battery technology/brand prior to using the flashlight. 3. When replacing he batteries: a. Replace all he batteries at the same time. b. Do not mix battery brands and old and new batteries. c. Always insert batteries correctly wi h regard to polarity (+ and -) marked on the battery and equipment. 4. Do not change batteries in a hazardous location. 5. Remove batteries from equipment if it is not to be used for an extended period of ime. Always dispose of all batteries properly at an approved battery recycling center.
