No toque las superficies calientes. Utilice únicamente las manijas.

No coloque la sandwichera cerca de fuentes de calor.
No se recomienda el uso de extensiones eléctricas para la unidad. Sin embargo, en caso de
necesitar utilizar una extensión, asegúrese que tenga las mismas características eléctricas de la
unidad.
No intente reparar la unidad usted mismo. Remita toda revisión, mantenimiento y reparación a
personal de servicio técnico calificado.
INSTRUCCIONES DE OPERACIÓN
La primera vez que utilice la sandwichera, es probable que note un ligero olor o humo. Esto es normal y
desaparecerá pronto. Antes de utilizar la sandwichera por primera vez, limpie las placas con una prenda
húmeda y luego seque.
1. Conecte el cable de poder al tomacorriente. Se encenderá la luz indicadora de color rojo.
2. Aplique un poco de aceite vegetal un líquido anti adherente y cierre la sandwichera para que se precaliente.
3. Después de 3 o 5 minutos la luz indicadora de color verde se encenderá, indicando que la
sandwichera está lista para que coloque los sándwiches.
4. Puede aplicar mantequilla a la parte exterior de los panes. Coloque el relleno de su preferencia.
5. Coloque los sándwiches y cierre la tapa. Cocine de 3 a 6 minutos. La luz indicadora de color verde
se encenderá y se apagará a medida que el termostato mantiene la temperatura correcta de
cocción.
6. Retire los sándwiches con un utensilio plástico (no metálico). Tenga precaución pues los sándwiches
y la unidad estarán calientes.
7. Desconecte el cable de poder y permita que la sandwichera se enfríe antes de limpiarla y guardarla.
LIMPIEZA Y MANTENIMIENTO
Utilice un papel absorbente para retirar el exceso de aceite. Retire las boronas de los bordes y pase un
trapo humedecido con agua jabonosa. No introduzca la sandwichera en agua. Evite utilizar utensilios
puntiagudos ya que estos raspan la superficie. No utilice limpiadores abrasivos en las placas de
cocción. Para limpiar las manijas y la parte exterior, utilice una prenda húmeda suave con jabón y una
toalla para secar. Guarde la unidad en un lugar limpio y seco. El cable de poder debe estar suelto, no
enrollado alrededor de la unidad para evitar que se troce por dentro.

IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electrical appliances especially when children are present, basic safety precautions should
always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and/or injury to persons, including the
following:
1. READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS.
2. Do not touch hot surfaces. Metal parts can become hot. Use any handles or knobs.
3. To protect against electrical shock, do not place cord, plug or appliance in water or other liquid.
4. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
5. Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before cleaning and putting
on or taking off parts and before cleaning the appliance.
6. Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug, or after the appliance malfunctions or
has been damaged in any manner. Return appliance to the nearest authorized service facility for
examination, repair or adjustment.
7. The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the appliance manufacturer may cause
injuries.
8. Do not use outdoors.
9. Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter or touch hot surfaces.
10. Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.
11. To disconnect remove plug from wall outlet.
12. Do not use appliance for other than intended use.
13. Extreme caution must be used when moving an appliance containing hot oil or hot liquids.
SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS
This appliance is for HOUSEHOLD USE ONLY. It may be plugged into an AC electrical outlet (ordinary
household current). Do not use any other electrical outlet.
A short power-supply cord (or detachable power –supply cord) is provided to reduce the risk resulting
from becoming entangled in or tripping over a longer cord.
Longer detachable power-supply cords or extension cords are available and may be used if care is
exercised in their use.
If a long detachable power-supply cord or extension cord is used,
1. The marked electrical rating of the cord or extension cord should be at least as great as the
electrical rating of the appliance,
2. If the appliance is of the grounded type, the extension cord should be a grounding 3-wire cord,
and
3. The longer cord should be arranged so this it will not drape over the countertop or table top
where it can be pulled on by children or tripped over unintentionally.

LINE CORD SAFETY TIPS
1. Never pull or yank on cord or the appliance.
2. To insert plug, grasp it firmly and guide it into outlet.
3. To disconnect appliance, grasp plug and remove it from outlet.
4. Before each use, inspect the line cord for cuts and/or abrasion marks. If any are
found, this indicates that the appliance should be serviced and the line cord replaced.
Please take it to an appliance service facility.
5. Never wrap the cord tightly around the appliance, as this could place undue
stress on the cord where it enters the appliance and cause it to fray and break.
An extension cord is not recommended for use with this appliance.
DO NOT OPERATE APPLIANCE IF THE LINE CORD SHOWS ANY DAMAGE, OR IF
APPLIANCE WORKS INTERMITTENTLY OR STOPS WORKING ENTIRELY.
IMPORTANT
During the first few minutes of initial use, you may notice smoke and/or a slight odor. This is normal and
should quickly disappear. It will not recur after appliance has been used a few more times.
BEFORE INITIAL USE: After unpacking the sandwich maker, open the cover and wipe the top and
bottom cooking plates with a damp cloth and then towel dry.
HOW TO USE THIS SANDWICH MAKER
1. Insert plug firmly into wall outlet. The red POWER light will turn on.
2. Lightly glaze both cooking plates with a small amount of vegetable oil or a non-stick spray, and close
the top to allow the sandwich maker to heat up.
3. After 3-5 minutes, the green READY light will turn on, indicating that the sandwich maker has
warmed to the appropriate temperature for cooking.
4. Prepare sandwiches by buttering bread on the outer surfaces and placing desired ingredients within.
Lift handle latch and open the top of the sandwich maker. Place sandwiches on the cooking plates.
CAUTION: Cooking surface is hot: handle with care.
5. Close the lid to ensure that the sandwich is placed evenly and lock the handle latch. Normal
cooking time will be 3-6 minutes for each sandwich. The READY light will turn on and off, as the
thermostat keeps the sandwich maker at the proper cooking temperature.
6. Remove the sandwiches from the cooking plates with a plastic (non-metallic) utensil. BE CAREFUL
with the sandwiches; the fillings are HOT. Allow to cool for a few minutes before enjoying.
7. Unplug the power supply cord after cooking and allow the sandwich maker to cool before moving or
storing.

USER MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS
This appliance requires little maintenance. It contains no user serviceable parts. Do not try to repair it
yourself. Refer it to qualified personnel if servicing is needed.
To Clean: Always unplug the appliance from the power source and wait until it cools down before
cleaning. There is no need to take the appliance apart for cleaning. Dry with a paper towel to absorb
excess oils. Brush crumbs from the grooves and wipe with a damp cloth and mild soap. Never immerse
in water. Avoid using sharp utensils, as they will scratch the surfaces. Do not use cleansers or oven
cleaners on the cooking plates. To clean the handles and exterior, use a damp cloth with mild soap and
towel dry.
To Store: Unplug the appliance and store in its box or in a clean, dry place. Store the cord loosely
coiled; never wrap the cord tightly around the unit. Do not put stress on the cord where it enters the
appliance, as it could cause the cord to fray and break.
