Why won’t the
Wet & Dry vacuum
pick up?
Solution
• Check the ‘This pack contains’ panel on the box to make sure the part is included
with your Wet & Dry vacuum.
• The lid may not be correctly fitted, remove the lid from the Wet & Dry vacuum
and refit ensuring it’s locked into place. The lid will not fit correctly if the filter bag

• The filter or filter bag may be clogged. To clean the filter or filter bag go to ‘Taking
care of your machine’.
• The tank maybe full, empty the tank. Go to ‘Taking care of your machine’.
• There may be a blockage in the hose/tube. Disconnect from the Wet & Dry vacuum
and carefully remove any blockages.
• Float may be stuck in the upright position. The Wet & Dry vacuum is fitted with a
float. When the tank is full, the float will shut off the suction to the vacuum. You will
be able to hear if this has happened as the motor noise will increase. Once the float
is activated, switch off the Wet & Dry vacuum and empty the tank. If the tank is not
full, then turn off the Wet & Dry vacuum at the power switch and wait for the float
under the lid to settle.
• The tank may be full, empty the tank. Go to ‘Taking care of your machine’.
Why won’t the blower
function work?
• The filter may be clogged. To clean the filter go to ‘Taking care of
your machine’.
• Hose may be incorrectly fitted, refit. Go to ‘Using your machine’.
• There may be a blockage in the hose/tube. Disconnect from the Wet & Dry vacuum
and carefully remove any blockages.
Why does my
Wet & Dry vacuum
have no power?
Why is dust
escaping from the
Wet & Dry vacuum?
• The plug may not be fully pushed into the electrical socket.
• Check the fuse in the plug. If this needs replacing, always replace with a 13amp fuse.
• The motor thermostat may have tripped. If this has happened, unplug the Wet & Dry
vacuum. Empty the tank and check the hose for blockages. Clean the filter and filter
bag and allow the Wet & Dry vacuum to cool for approximately 1 hour (if you have
washed the filter and filter bag you will need to wait 24 hours for them to fully dry
before putting them back into the Wet & Dry vacuum).
• The filter and filter bag may be clogged. To clean the filter and/or filter bag go to
‘Taking care of your machine’.
