Weekly Wrap
It was a tough week all round as the Saints had to default the very first game in the club’s history. This was due
to a shortage of player availability - but on the flipside it also shows the Saints commitment to the game by
putting forward a third side despite numbers not being at the level we would’ve preferred. It’s important we
get around this side who have now had the last two games default due to unforeseen circumstances. Not only
this, but tell your mates about the club to help get some numbers down to games. Further still, tell them about
the Inferno monthly Thursday night feed and we’ll surely see them at training.
The Saints Div 2 & 4 sides suffered tough losses respectively but the squad will hit the training paddock with
renewed vigour and relish the upcoming two weeks off to rest their bumps and niggles.
Aside from footy, the club’s heartfelt condolences are extended to Popeye and Emma with the recent passing
of Emma’s sister. The Randwick City Saints collectively stand by you two during this tough time.
Finally, congratulations are in order for two first time fathers within the club, Paul “Higgo” Higginson and Glen
“Fury”. It’s great to see the call for more numbers in the club being answered with such enthusiasm by these

Inferno Grill Sainthood of the Week
Aidan “Greeta” Greet
Greeta, aka the Gazelle, is a well-liked member of the Saints. Calm and
collected, he is always first to offer encouragement and plays an
irreplaceable role in the Saints backline.
To be honoured with this rounds Sainthood, Greets went above and
beyond, turning up to the clubhouse extra early to assist in getting it ready
to host the juniors, followed by Div 4 and then Div 2.
In addition, he takes on extra-curricular responsibilities, such as ensuring
the captain doesn’t drink too many beers at the Diggers and that parking
is done appropriately and with respect for the Saints hallowed turf.
The Saints were fortunate enough to tuck into another supremely
generous spread from Inferno after training last Thursday so a big thank
you is extended to the team there.
