Logon Instructions
Please follow these directions to login to Citrix.
Step 1: Open your browser and go to the following URL:
http://citrix.carlingrsc.com or http://172.16.1.39
• MacOSX: Please use the Safari Browser.
•
o The icon for Safari in your toolbar is:
o MacOS9 is not supported, please have your Systems Dept upgrade you.
Windows 2000/XP: Please use Microsoft Internet Explorer
The login screen looks like the following:
Step 2: Login with your supplied username and password.
• Usernames will be in the form of: firstnamelastname
• Usernames and Passwords should be entered in lowercase
• If you have not been supplied with a username, please contact your Systems department or send an email request to: helpdesk@carlingtech.com

The next screen you will see will look like the following:
Step 3: Please choose the “Citrix 2003 Desktop” from this Applications Menu.
• This will bring you into a Windows session that will give you access to all of your assigned applications,
as well as your local computer and network server access.
• On your first visit to the Citrix website, after you click the application to launch, you will get a screen
with a Coffee Cup icon on it:
o This is normal. Please be patient while the Java applet loads. On subsequent visits to the site,
this process will be much shorter, as the applet has already downloaded.
You will get prompted to accept the Citrix Security Certificate. Simply click the “Trust” button to continue the
login process.
You may get prompted with the following box, simply click “Yes”
The following is what the Citrix 2003 Desktop looks like (you may have more Desktop icons than you see
below):
To access CBSi:
• Click on the CBSi folder, then choose one of the CBSi Launch Documents:
• CBSi – Production Environment (PD)
• CBSi – Prototype Environment (PY)
• CBSi – Development Environment (DV)
Lastly, do not close the following browser windows, or you may be inadvertently logged out of Citrix:
