CATERING POLICIES
FOOD & BEVERAGE
All food and arrangements must be confirmed 14 days prior to the event date or at the time of booking.
In accordance with BC Liquor Laws, all alcoholic beverages must be consumed in licensed area and purchased
by the Resort through the BC Liquor Distribution Branch. Liquor sales are not permitted before 11:00am or
after 1:00am.
We are pleased to work with any dietary concerns or food allergies, please notify our team in advance if
special meals are required.
All food and beverage with exception of the wedding cake are to be provided by the Quality Resort Bayside.
Guaranteed number of guests will be required seven business days prior to the event. In the event the
guaranteed number is not provided the final number will be based on the previously discussed attendance or
the actual number, whichever is greater. All food and beverage will be subject to 15% gratuity and 5% gst.
MEETING SPACE
In accordance with government regulations, all meeting rooms, foyers and outdoor reception areas are nonsmoking. There are designated smoking areas outside the entrance of the building.
Meeting room set-ups will be specified at the time of the booking. Changes to the set-ups while on site could
result in additional labour charges.
Open flames are not permitted in the meeting rooms. Votive and tealight candles are permitted but must be
placed in a glass container.
PAYMENT PROCEDURES
The Resort will process invoices within 7 business days. Company cheques will be accepted for payment.
Credit card authorization forms will be provided by the Resort should you wish to pay by credit card. Full
payment is required within 30 days.
CANCELLATIONS
The Resort must receive written cancellation within 30 days of the event date. Deposits are non-refundable.
DAMAGE
The Client is responsible for damages to the Resort by their guests or independent contractors acting on their
behalf while on the premises are under their control. This includes damages to wall coverings, doorways from
the use of strong tape, tacks or other attachments for posters, flyers or written materials. Masking tape is
permitted.
AUDIO VISUAL
Audio visual and specific requirements should be determined 30 days prior to the event. The safety and
security of all equipment is the responsibility of the client.
SECURITY
The Resort is not responsible for lost or stolen articles, loss of or damage to any article left at the resort.
