Factory Radio Removal
1. Set parking brake and disconnect negative
battery cable to prevent any electrical short.
2. Insert DIN tools into holes in each side of factory radio
approximately one inch until a click is heard from each
side. Note: Do not use excessive force, so as not to
damage retaining clips.
3. Spread tools apart slightly and pull out radio. Disconnect
wiring harness, unplug antenna and remove radio.

NOTES:
Receiver Installation
Please read first
• Inspect factory receiver harness connector in vehicle.
Ensure that the wiring adaptor purchased from
Crutchfield plugs into the vehicle’s connector. If the
connector is missing or incorrect, please call our
Technical Service Department at 1-800-955-9094.
1. Remove DIN sleeve and trim ring from receiver if in place (Figure 1).
2. Connect receiver wiring adaptor to receiver following instructions supplied with
wiring adaptor.
3. Push receiver mounting bracket into dash opening until it snaps into place.
4. Slide DIN sleeve into mounting bracket and secure to bracket by bending the
securing tabs (Figure 2).
5. Hold receiver near dash. Connect receiver wiring adaptor to factory harness.
Plug antenna lead into rear of receiver.
6. Slide receiver fully into bracket/sleeve and test operation.
7. Attach DIN trim ring.

Door Speakers
1. Remove one (1) screw cover and phillips screw
from door pull handle.
2. Remove two (2) screw covers from lower portion
of door panel.

SAFETY CHECK
✔ Check that wires do not interfere with window operation.
✔ Test door lock operation.

3. Remove one (1) Torx T15 screw from behind
screw cover removed from lower front portion of
door panel.
4. Remove one (1) phillips screw from behind screw
cover removed near lower rear portion of door.

5. Remove two (2) Torx T15 screws from rear edge
of door panel.
6. Remove one (1) Torx T15 screw from front edge
of door panel.
7. Pull out door panel from bottom edge, lift panel
and disconnect wiring harnesses.

8. Disconnect door release cable by rotating cable,
and pushing cylinder end downward through
notch in cable socket (Figure 1).

9. Remove four (4) phillips screws securing speaker.
Pull out speaker, disconnect and remove.
10. Connect speaker wiring adaptor of replacement
speaker to vehicle speaker connector. Secure
speaker with screws previously removed
(Figure 2).

11. Test speaker operation and reinstall door panel
by reversing removal steps.

Rear Speakers
1. Fold down rear seat.
2. Remove screw cover from front portion of rear
side panel.

3. Remove two (2) Torx T25 screws exposed by
removal of screw cover.
4. Pry of rear seat latch cover.
5. Pry out rear side panel from top and outer
edges to release retaining clips.
6. Fold panel toward center of vehicle and hold
while removing three (3) 7mm screws
securing speaker.

7. Pull out speaker, disconnect and remove.
8. Connect speaker wiring adaptor of replacement
speaker to vehicle speaker connector. Secure
speaker with screws previously removed
(Inset).

9. Test speaker operation and reinstall
side panel by reversing removal steps.
