Do not operate the unit with a damaged cord or plug, after the unit
malfunctions, has been dropped or damaged.
For your convenience, record the complete model number and product name
(located on the Product Identification Plate), the date you purchased the
product, and attach your purchase receipt as proof of purchase.
To ensure your product is covered by warranty, the complete faulty product
together with your purchase receipt should be returned to your retailer.

INTRODUCTION
SPECIFICATION
The TITAN-COOL will work efficiently between ambient temperatures of
18°C to 45°C, and a relative humidity below 80%. Outside these limits, the
unit may experience abnormal operation.

Transport & store the unit in an upright position only. Leave it in an
upright position for at least 3 hours before first use.
Always place the unit on an even, level surface.
Ensure the unit is connected to an earthed power supply of the correct
rating. (Refer to the rating label located at the back of the unit.)
The unit will cool when the room temperature is between 18°C ~ 45°C
depending on the thermostat setting.

5. DO NOT use this unit for functions other than those described in this
instruction manual.
6. DO NOT tilt the unit.
7. DO NOT cover or obstruct the appliance’s inlet and outlet grilles.
8. This unit is for indoor use only.
9. Never unplug the air conditioner while it is working, this could damage
the electronic circuits.
10. DO NOT use the appliance in a wet room, such as a laundry room to
avoid the risk of electrical shocks.
11. DO NOT sit or place articles on the appliance.
12. DO NOT use the appliance with wet or damp hands.
13. DO NOT let chemical substances come into contact with the appliance.
14. DO NOT use the appliance in the presence of flammable substances
or vapours such as alcohol, insecticides, petrol, etc.
15. DO NOT use the plug to start and stop the appliances. ALWAYS use
the intended control panel to start and stop the unit.
16. ALWAYS turn off the appliances when it is not in use and remove the
mains plug from the socket outlet.
17. ALWAYS turn the unit off and remove the main plug before cleaning,
carrying out maintenance or moving location.
18. Avoid the use of adapter plugs, multiple sockets and /or extension leads.
If their use is necessary, ensure they conform to current safety standards.
If you need to use an extension lead, it must be rated at 15A minimum.
19. DO NOT pull the electrical cable or place it near a source of heat: always
unroll it completely to avoid dangerous overheating. If the power cord
becomes damaged, the service agent or a similarly qualified person must
replace it, in order to avoid a hazard.
20. The filter must be used with the product at all times, when removing it for
clearing always turn the unit off and unplug the mains plug from the socket.
21. Regularly clean the filter to maintain efficiency. If filters are not regularly
cleaned, the unit performance will reduce and the energy consumption will
increase.
22. DO NOT operate the unit with a damaged power cord or plug, after it
malfunctions, has been dropped or damaged. If the power cord is
damaged it must be replaced by the manufacturer or a qualified service
engineer to avoid a hazard.
23. Only use in the upright position on a flat level surface, at least 60cm from
and objects.
24. Stop operation immediately if abnormal noise or smell is noticed, and
contact service centre.

BS PLUG WIRING INSTRUCTIONS
Wiring Instructions: Should it be necessary to change the plug please
note the wires in the mains lead are coloured in accordance with the
following code :
BLUE - NEUTRAL
BROWN - LIVE
GREEN AND YELLOW - EARTH
As the colours of the wires in the mains lead of this appliance may not
correspond with the coloured markings identifying the terminals in your
plug, proceeding as follows:
1. The BLUE wire is the NEUTRAL and must be connected to the terminal
which is marked with the letter N or coloured BLACK.
2. The BROWN wire is the LIVE and must be connected to the terminal
which is marked with the letter L or coloured RED.
3. The GREEN/YELLOW is the EARTH and must be connected to the
or coloured GREEN OR
terminal which is marked with the letter E or
GREEN/YELLOW.
4. Always ensure that the cord grip is positioned and fastened correctly.
If a 13A (BS 1363) fused plug is used, it must be fitted with a 13A (BS 1362)
fuse. If in doubt consult a qualified electrician.

Changes fan speeds to Low (speed) or High (speed)
FILTER CLEANING
There are two filters within the TITAN-COOL unit, one at the front of the unit
(evaporator), and one at the rear of the unit (Condenser).
1. Pull front filter guard foward from top unitil the guard is angled and
resting on the supporting cables.
2. Slide filter up, use a vacuum cleaner to remove the dust.
3. If the filter is extremely covered with dust and dirt, use a solution of
lukewarm water and neutral detergent to wash the filter. Do not use
any other chemicals, as this will damage the filter.
4. Dry the filter in a shaded area before replacing it. Do not operate
without the filter.
5. Replace and close the filter guard.
6. Lift the rear filter from the middle bar slightly, angle filter outwards
from the bottom and remove.
7. Use the same cleaning procedure as above (3-5).
8. To replace the filter, slide up until the bottom of filter clears the frame,
push bottom of filter within the guide and let filter fall inside the guide.
SPOT/COOL Starts cooling mode and the unit will begin to cool

ROOM/COOL Starts cooling mode and the unit will begin to cool

Changes target temperature/data value by +/- 1 each

CURRENT
Shows outlet temperature when TITAN-COOL is

operating normally in spot cooling mode, or room
temperature in Room cooling mode. If abnormal
operation is detected, display changes to a fault code.
TARGET
This is the temperature set from the unit Controller in
TEMP
Room cooling mode.
ALARM
Operates (blinks) when abnormal operation is

detected. The compressor stops and the fan will
continue to run for 3 minutes. If the fault is cleared
within 3 minutes, the system resumes operation. If
fault is not cleared, the fans will also stop running. To
restore normal operation the fault must be rectified.

TITAN-COOL ALARM CODES

The alarm light is activated if abnormal operation occurs, and a code is
displayed on the control panel. The compressor and condenser fan motor will
stop operating. The evaporator fan continues to run for a further 3 minutes.
If the fault is rectified within 3 minutes, the unit resumes operation. If the fault
persists for more than 3 minutes, the evaporator fan also stops. The fault must
be rectified before the unit can resume normal operation.
