These UPS are to be installed with Network Switches of Institute LAN. The switches are
placed in the racks. The UPS are required to fix on the wall mounted clamps adjacent to
the racks. The bidder also needs to supply and fix the clamps for UPS.
UPS should support all the Indian Power standards including input frequency, power
factor, input line voltage etc.
Equipment/s should have clearance and appropriate licences from Central/State
governments if applicable to the required equipment and/or its spares, line electronic and
electrical items associated with the equipment.
Equipment/s must include all other types of electronic and electrical items (including
connectors, plug tops, fuses and cables) which are required to run the equipment on full
population mode.
UPS manufacturer must submit the Authorization certificate for the quoted product of
their firm.
Warranty: 3 years comprehensive warranty from the date of successful installation
including batteries.
Embedded software, if any, installed in the equipment should support one time licence
and should not be of annual renewal type.
Bidder must submit the bids in two separate envelop.The first envelop should contain
Technical Bid and Essential eligibility criteria document and the second envelop should
contain the financial bid. The financial bid of only those bidders will be opened for
evaluation whose Technical bid meets the published technical requirement as
mentioned above.
Performance Bank Guarantee: Bidder’s have to submit 5% of order value as
Performance Bank Guarantee valid for a period of 38 months from the date of satisfactory
installation and before release of final payment.
Penalty :Late Delivery penalty will be imposed at the rate of 1% of order value per week
shall be levied subject to a maximum of 10% of order value, if the items are not supplied
within the stipulated delivery time of 30 days from the date of acceptance of order.
Delivery time : 30 days from the date of acceptance of Purchase order.
The order quantity may vary +/- 10% of aforementioned quantity as per actual needs.
These UPS will be used with Network Switch Cisco 2960X.
Minimum Qualification for Eligible Bidders
The bidder must submit the supporting signed documents in support of the following criteria, failing
which bidder will not be considered for technical and subsequent financial evaluation.
A.
Bidder must have executed similar kind of work in any IITs/Govt. Educational
Institutions/PSUs within last 5 years [proof of successful work completion (certificate
from concerned IITs/Govt. Educational Institutions/PSUs) is to be attached alongwith
corresponding Purchase order copy]
B.
Quoted OEM must have Authorized service centre in Varanasi (Address of Authorized
Service Centre of OEM duly certified by the bidder).
C.
The Annual Turnover of the Bidder must be above Rs. 1 crore during last 3 financial years
(Chartered Accountant certified copy need to be attached).
D.
EMD of Rs. 30,000 shall be submitted in favour of Registrar IIT(BHU) Varanasi
alongwith Bid in the form of DD payable at Varanasi.

E. Tender fees amounting to Rs. 1000 shall be submitted in favour of Registrar IIT (BHU)
Varanasi alongwith Bid in the form of DD payable at Varanasi.
Note: All the above documents and DDs must be kept in First envelop marked as Techno
Commercial Unprice Bid.
