GENERAL
 Unit is designed to use either 110-120 volt or 220-240 volt outlets. To be sure which one you have, check the
voltage stamped on the base of unit. Do not use in an outlet not compatible with your unit- it could overheat.
Do not use with Direct Current.
 Plug cord into AC outlet.
 Voltage changes or variations in water temperature will affect brewing time.
 Turn on/off switch to on position to start brewing. If no switch is present it will start brewing automatically.
 Signal light on 100 cup model glows when coffee is ready. After brewing is complete, unit automatically
reduces heat and maintains coffee at serving temperature until unplugged or the on/off switch is turned to ‘Off’.
 NEVER plug in coffeemaker without water or liquid coffee in it. This will damage the coffeemaker.
HELPFUL HINTS
Remove coffee basket and grounds as soon as the brewing cycle is complete. This also helps maintain flavor. Before
brewing a second pot, cool coffeemaker by rinsing it thoroughly with cold water. Use coffeemaker cover as a drip
catcher when removing basket and discarding wet coffee grounds. To reheat cold coffee, remove basket and
percolating tube before plugging unit in. If faucet drips, check facet bonnet to be sure it’s firmly tightened.
