Browsemaster is a new grass seed mixture for goat
pastures. Research has indicated that the productivity of goats is higher in a pasture with a diverse
array of forage species rather than a mono-stand.
Browsemaster has the optimum combination to
improve the meat and milk production in goats.
Horsemaster is a mixture especially made for horse
pastures. Because horses have both upper and lower
teeth, they graze the grass close to the soil. Also,
horses are very active animals and put a lot of traffic
pressure on grass.

Dyna Green fertilizers
DYNAMAX™ fertilizers are special formulations of the DYNA
GREEN line designed to stimulate luxuriant growth and dark
green foliage by supplying the “extras” not found in the
standard formulations. All three DYNAMAX analysis contain
selected secondary nutrients and micronutrients. The trace
element package includes boron, copper, iron, zinc and manganese. Both DYNAMAX and DYNA GREEN standard formulations
contain a special free-flow ingredient to prevent lumping and
clogging of mechanical spreaders.

Osmocote controlled release fertilizers
Controlled Release
Fertilizers
Osmocote Classic can help you grow bigger, greener, healthier plants.
Osmocote controlled release fertilizer is engineered to help deliver bigger,
greener, highly saleable and profitable plants sooner. One application either
incorporated or top-dressed, will provide your plants with a steady continuous
metering of N-P-K nutrients. This prolonged controlled feeding eliminates the
feast or famine associated with conventional soluble fertilizers, and helps insure
an ideal level of nutrients for optimum plant growth.
Longevity is based on 70°F average soil temperature
Osmocote releases nutrients evenly over the specified longevity, which is based
on 70°F (21°C) average soil temperature. Shorter terms can be expected in
warmer growing conditions, longer terms in cooler growing conditions.
How Osmocote works:
A.After application, water
vapor from the soil penetrates
the resin coating and dissolves
the water soluble nutrients
inside.
B. The dissolved nutrients
then gradually diffuse through
the capsule into the soil
depending on formulation and
soil temperature.

• After the product is surface-applied and watered in, the
innovative polymer compound forms a web-like adhesive matrix
• This matrix bonds the prills to each other and the prills to the

• Rewetting the growing media through subsequent irrigations
maintains the Fusion activity, which assures the fertilizer will
stay in place for an extended period of time
• When containers get blown or knocked over, the fertilizer that

21 gram
10 gram
These compact, easy-to-use fertilizer tablets eliminate the need for measuring
small quantities of dry materials, and provide a safe, scientifically-complete plant food which
lasts up to two years. Agriform Planting Tablets fill the continuing need of all plants for a full
range of major nutrients. During the first year of establishment, the demand for plant food is
not great in terms of pounds of nutrients, but continuity of availability is critical for the development of healthy roots and vigorous top growth. Urea-formaldehyde is the total nitrogen
source, supplying a reservoir of prolonged-release, non-leaching nitrogen to the plant roots.
• 10 gram size is used for well-rooted liners (quart-gallon size),
larger containers, established trees and shrubs
• 21 gram size is recommended for water gardens

Composed of dry granules of plant nutrients encapsulated within multiple layers of polymeric resin. Water vapor penetrates the permeable
shell and dissolves the nutrient core. The resulting osmotic pressure
meters the liquid nutrients through the coating and into the surrounding soil/media. Product longevity depends on irrigation frequency and
quantity (leaching fraction), environmental factors such as temperature
and rainfall, and the rate of product application.

Chick Magic fertilizers
Chick Magic started in 1958, not with fertilizer, but with one of the best egg laying farms in the Country.
However, in 1993, experimenting began with composting chicken manure.
Through years of experiments and research, it was determined that drying the manure and then pelleting it
retained more value to the end product.
Thus creating CHICK MAGIC ORGANIC FERTILIZER
Chick magic fertilizer is “processed” chicken manure instead of “composted” to remove any weed seeds, litter,
bedding, etc. This process also limits the unpleasant odor that is found with other manure fertilizers.

Dosatron fertilizer injectors
Fertilizer Injectors
H
ere’s how it works: Installed directly in the
water supply line, the injector operates without electricity, using
water pressure as the power source.
Basic Installation
The water activates the injector which takes up the required
percentage of concentrate directly from the stock solution
container. Inside the injector, the concentrate is mixed with the
water, and the water pressure forces the solution downstream.
The amount of concentrate will be directly proportional to the
volume of water entering the injector, regardless of variations
in flow or pressure which may occur in the main line.
All Dosatron fertilizer injectors must be used with a filter kit for warranty to remain in effect
All injectors include: mounting bracket, suction hose, weighted strainer, and operating manual

A time-tested, accurate proportioning
device designed for small scale growers.
The Siphon Mixer dispenses fertilizers,
insecticides, fungicides and other water
soluble chemicals through a hose.
• Proportions at the rate of 1 gallon of
concentrate to 16 gallons of water
• One gallon of concentrate is
dispensed in 3 to 5 minutes
• 6 gallons per minute minimum flow
• Made of brass
• Hozon needs 35 psi minimum
• Use on maximum 50’ length of hose
(see illustration at below if more than
50’ of hose is desired)
The Hozon draws
approximately one gallon
of concentrate in about 5
minutes. Depending on the
flow rate, it will be mixed
with 12 to 18 parts water.
• A larger diameter hose will
give a larger flow rate
If more than fifty feet of hose is
used the Hozon can be connected
•
Excessive back-pressure
between two sections of hose.
will cause the siphon to
stop drawing
• Adjustable nozzles should
not be used or should be
wide open for best results
waterflow
(backflow
preventer)
fertilizer
concentrate
How to prepare a concentrated solution
not shown in the chart
• Hozon proportions at 1:16 so concentrated solution should be made at 16 times
the recommended rate
• Example: If fertilizer recommendation is 2 Tbsp (1/8 cup) per gallon then make
the solution 16 times greater than that rate (i.e., 16 x 2 = 32), or 32 Tbsp (2 cups) per gallon would be the concentrated rate
• Then, when mixed with water from the hose, the concentrated solution will come
out of the hose end at the recommended rate
Mazzei Fertilizer Injectors
For field applications in fruit, vegetable and nursery production
• The Mazzei Injectors are simple to operate and they work on water power
• There are no moving parts
• The Injectors are inexpensive and reliable
• They will restrict water flow by approximately 20%
• These injectors are great for field applications, they would not
be recommended for greenhouse production
• Maximum operating pressure is 140 psi
3/4”
1”
• Female inlet and outlet
• Water flow must exceed the minimum flow rate when in operation

Kit for Direct Soil pH Measurement with Special Electrode
The HI99121 kit has been designed to
address the question of correct and
rapid measurement of pH directly in soil.
Every item in this kit has been made to
facilitate measurements in the field without
compromising accuracy. With HI99121,
you can test the pH of soil directly or after
preparation of a diluted sample. In order to
measure the pH directly, the kit includes a
plastic auger to perforate the ground.
The HI1292D has a conic, rugged tip
and can be directly inserted in moist or
soft soil. The electrode incorporates a
temperature sensor near the tip to enable
it to measure and quickly compensate for
temperature.
For higher degrees of accuracy, or for
stony ground where the electrode may be
damaged, use the specially-made HI7051M
preparation solution. This solution is
included in the package to help you
measure pH more precisely by dilution.

Portable Meter
for Direct Measurement
of Soil Activity and
Solutions Conductivity
• The Model HI993310 was specifically designed to address the need for
correct and rapid conductivity measurements in soil and liquids
• It is supplied with two probes: HI76305 with a stainless steel, conical tip for
direct soil measurement; and HI76304 for fertilizer-enriched solutions. Both
probes have a one meter cable (3.28’)
• The meter measures both the soil conductivity in EC (µS/cm) as well as
salt activity in grams per liter
• The different scales can be selected through two keys on the front mask, and
two separate LEDs indicate which parameter is being tested
• In addition, the meter is equipped with an alarm LED that automatically turns
on if the soil is too dry, or nutritive substances such as potassium or nitrogen
are lacking
• In the former case, demineralized water is to be added to the soil prior to
proceeding with further tests
• Direct soil measurement is facilitated by the small-diameter,
stainless steel, pointed HI76305 probe
• Once inserted into the ground, the user simply waits until the meter displays
the value read by the auger-like probe
• Test solution, HI7031L, comes in a 500 ml bottle

Water Alkalinity
T
he alkalinity of water used in irrigation is an important property that can significantly affect crop response and pesticide
efficacy. Alkalinity is not a measure of the pH of water. It is, rather, a
measure of the carbonates, bicarbonates and hydroxyls dissolved
in the water. It is these substances that accumulate in a growing
medium and cause a gradual rise of its pH. Alkalinity in irrigation
water can be reduced by using a fertilizer with a moderate to high
potential acidity or the injection of acid. The level of alkalinity is
what determines the type and amount of acid used.
800-325-3055
In general, acid should probably be used when alkalinity levels
exceed 200 to 250 ppm. Bedding plant crops do better with water
alkalinity levels are below 200 ppm. Similarly, plug crops require
levels of 100 ppm or under. Alkalinity levels can be determined 3
ways:
1. If you are on a municipal water supply, call
your local water company
2. Buy an alkalinity test kit
3. Send a water sample to a testing laboratory

The Irrometer Automatic System
is designed to operate with any
standard electric controller, time
clock or solenoid valve when
programming is desired.
Model RA
The “low tension” IRROMETER incorporates a
replaceable “Quick-Flo” tip, and a sealed gauge which
has a full scale of 0-40 kPa. Designed for situations
where tensions above 30 kPa are rarely expected.
Ideal for very coarse soils; for container-media (nonsoil), which can be relatively dry at 10-15 kPa; or
where rapidly changing soil water status needs to be
observed. MLT is a miniature LT for small containers.
Note: Service unit for all models should
be purchased with initial order. All service
units include hand vacuum pump for
evacuating air from Irrometer, one bottle
of Irrometer Fluid Concentrate and 25
monthly chart forms for graphic readings.
Other Irrometer models and lengths
available. Please call for quotation.
soil moisture indicators
The IRROMETER supplies soil moisture information by acting as a “dummy root.”
It consists of a sealed, water-filled tube equipped with a porous, ceramic tip that is
installed in the ground at desired root zone depths. In dry soil, water is drawn out
of the instrument, reducing water volume in the IRROMETER, thus creating a partial
vacuum, which is registered on the gauge. The drier the soil, the higher the reading.
Irrigation reverses this action. The vacuum previously created in the tube by dry soil
draws water from the now irrigated soil back into the instrument. This in turn results
in a lower gauge reading. Two instruments are necessary for accurate assessment of
available water at the root zone: one is set shallow, the other deep.

Watermark Soil Moisture Sensors
These sensors can be buried to any soil depth where moisture content needs to be read. The wires are
attached to the portable WATERMARK meter that reads electrical resistance in the 0-200-centibar range.
The WATERMARK meter is a solid-state alternating current resistance bridge meter that is adjustable for
soil temperature variations. One meter is required to read all WATERMARK sensors. Meter has an LCD
display, touchpad operating panel, durable case and field changeable cable assembly. Sensors are also easily
interfaced with dataloggers. (Sensor protection required when interfaced with electronic logging devices.)
WATERMARK Electronic Module: Designed to interface WATERMARK sensors with individual 24VAC
solenoid valves to provide soil moisture control to automatic systems. Fully adjustable from wet to dry, with
“off” or bypass position for sensor control override. Can also be used to interrupt controller master valve
circuit. Comes complete with two WATERMARK sensors. Other versions available that control groups of
valves on common ground systems.
